they_o with_o which_o mind_n the_o babylonian_n offer_v unto_o their_o idol_n bel_n 14_o daniel_n 14_o but_o because_o in_o the_o gift_n so_o offer_v there_o be_v a_o recognition_n of_o his_o divine_a majesty_n and_o a_o certain_a satisfaction_n for_o sin_n that_o be_v to_o say_v for_o the_o temporal_a pain_n due_a unto_o sin_n but_o because_o lyve_v upon_o the_o earth_n and_o be_v enuiron_v with_o flesh_n we_o use_v the_o sense_n 4._o that_o a_o visible_a safice_n be_v most_o convenient_a for_o our_o nature_n joan._n 4._o and_o be_v tie_v unto_o sensible_a thing_n we_o can_v not_o exercise_v the_o proper_a operation_n of_o the_o soul_n perfect_o such_o a_o sacrifice_n be_v convenient_a for_o we_o as_o with_o which_o visible_o we_o may_v confess_v and_o honour_v that_o divine_a excellency_n of_o majesty_n for_o although_o god_n who_o be_v spirit_n be_v delit_v with_o that_o wourship_n which_o according_a to_o the_o scripture_n procee_v of_o spirit_n and_o truth_n that_o be_v to_o say_v of_o right_a faith_n work_v by_o charity_n and_o although_o it_o be_v a_o certain_a acceptable_a sacrifice_n unto_o he_o when_o the_o soul_n with_o inward_a move_n do_v consecrate_v itself_o to_o god_n yet_o truth_n itself_o that_o be_v to_o say_v right_a faith_n require_v also_o outward_a wourship_n for_o two_o cause_n cause_n outward_a wourship_n of_o god_n require_v for_o two_o cause_n the_o one_o be_v because_o the_o soul_n make_v not_o that_o inward_a oblation_n of_o itself_o convenient_o and_o perfect_o except_o it_o behold_v the_o same_o in_o some_o sensible_a oblation_n of_o a_o gift_n as_o in_o a_o sign_n and_o glass_n that_o by_o this_o mean_v it_o may_v be_v move_v and_o stir_v unto_o that_o internal_a oblation_n there_o to_o rest_n and_o stay_v as_o when_o we_o pray_v unto_o god_n and_o praise_v he_o we_o do_v it_o not_o only_o with_o the_o heart_n but_o also_o with_o sensible_a sign_n not_o because_o otherwise_o he_o understand_v we_o not_o but_o for_o that_o so_o we_o stir_v and_o provoke_v ourselves_o the_o more_o fervent_o to_o pray_v 6._o rom._n 6._o and_o praise_v he_o and_o therefore_o s._n paul_n admonish_v we_o that_o we_o exhibit_v not_o only_o our_o mind_n unto_o god_n but_o also_o our_o member_n to_o be_v armure_n of_o righteousness_n the_o other_o cause_n be_v asceticis_fw-la in_o asceticis_fw-la for_o that_o as_o s._n basile_n say_v we_o have_v not_o only_o our_o soul_n of_o god_n and_o therefore_o the_o wourship_n that_o be_v give_v unto_o he_o by_o the_o soul_n only_o thing_n god_n be_v to_o be_v honour_v not_o only_o with_o the_o soul_n but_o also_o with_o the_o body_n and_o with_o outward_a thing_n be_v unperfite_a and_o for_o so_o much_o as_o we_o have_v receive_v the_o body_n and_o all_o that_o we_o have_v beside_o of_o he_o it_o be_v right_a that_o we_o serve_v he_o with_o the_o body_n itself_o and_o with_o all_o thing_n acknwolege_v that_o he_o be_v god_n and_o lord_n of_o all_o thing_n to_o who_o all_o thing_n ought_v to_o do_v service_n in_o consideration_n whereof_o the_o third_o brother_n among_o the_o seven_o maccabee_n put_v forth_o his_o tongue_n out_o of_o his_o mouth_n as_o he_o be_v command_v and_o hold_v up_o his_o hand_n 7_o 2._o mach._n 7_o both_o to_o be_v cut_v of_o by_o the_o tormentor_n say_v with_o a_o bold_a courage_n e_z coelo_fw-la ista_fw-la possideo_fw-la those_o seven_o maccabee_n maccabee_n the_o mother_n of_o the_o maccabee_n a_o woman_n of_o manly_a fortitude_n with_o free_a heart_n offer_v up_o her_o son_n unto_o god_n because_o it_o be_v he_o as_o she_o say_v that_o have_v create_v they_o and_o bring_v they_o into_o this_o light_n how_o so_o ever_o they_o have_v be_v conceive_v in_o her_o womb_n therefore_o she_o make_v protestation_n as_o before_o god_n and_o say_v unto_o they_o i_o know_v not_o quoth_v she_o how_o you_o appear_v in_o my_o womb_n for_o it_o be_v not_o i_o that_o have_v give_v unto_o you_o spirit_n and_o soul_n and_o life_n it_o be_v not_o i_o that_o have_v join_v together_o the_o member_n of_o each_o of_o you_o but_o it_o be_v the_o creator_n of_o the_o world_n etc._n etc._n as_o much_o to_o say_v in_o effect_n as_o this_o lord_n for_o so_o much_o as_o i_o have_v have_v these_o seven_o son_n of_o thou_o for_o thy_o sake_n glad_o i_o geve_v they_o and_o offer_v they_o unto_o thou_o 1._o job._n 1._o that_o bless_a man_n job_n likewise_o take_v the_o loss_n of_o all_o his_o good_n patient_o and_o so_o with_o free_a hart_n offer_v they_o to_o god_n forasmuch_o as_o he_o acknowledge_v that_o he_o have_v receive_v they_o at_o god_n hand_n 6._o 1._o cor._n 6._o s._n paul_n also_o exhort_v that_o we_o glorify_v 12._o rom._n 12._o and_o bear_v god_n in_o our_o body_n and_o that_o we_o exhibit_v our_o body_n a_o lively_a sacrifice_n unto_o god_n 22._o matt._n 22._o and_o in_o that_o great_a and_o first_o commandment_n in_o which_o the_o law_n and_o prophet_n do_v depend_v we_o be_v command_v to_o love_n god_n not_o only_o with_o the_o soul_n but_o also_o ex_fw-la omnibus_fw-la viribus_fw-la with_o all_o our_o power_n and_o strength_n 10._o luc._n 10._o and_o as_o we_o sin_n against_o god_n be_v bind_v
