doctrine_n between_o s._n paul_n who_o write_v to_o rome_n to_o confirm_v they_o in_o the_o faith_n &_o s._n peter_n who_o they_o say_v write_v from_o rome_n and_o s._n mark_v also_o who_o write_v his_o gospel_n at_o rome_n as_o in_o history_n it_o be_v record_v so_o now_o in_o one_o point_n let_v we_o see_v what_o saint_n peter_n think_v vouâ—s_n in_o one_o point_n i_o say_v not_o touch_v by_o saint_n paul_n in_o that_o epistle_n although_o in_o other_o place_n plentiful_o enough_o by_o he_o deliver_v saint_n peter_n therefore_o in_o handle_v the_o duty_n between_o man_n and_o wife_n do_v thereby_o commend_v the_o honourable_a estate_n of_o marriage_n as_o a_o state_n of_o life_n whereof_o god_n have_v a_o care_n and_o therefore_o give_v law_n and_o rule_n in_o observe_v whereof_o husband_n and_o wife_n may_v serve_v and_o please_v god_n and_o if_o he_o have_v so_o very_o well_o like_v of_o single_a life_n as_o they_o who_o call_v themselves_o his_o successor_n do_v he_o will_v no_o doubt_n have_v take_v occasion_n to_o have_v put_v in_o some_o caveat_n for_o the_o same_o 14._o but_o himself_o be_v marry_v as_o the_o rhemiste_n themselves_o confess_v and_o though_o out_o of_o hierome_n they_o will_v prove_v that_o be_v call_v to_o be_v a_o apostle_n he_o forsake_v his_o wife_n yet_o how_o false_a that_o be_v saint_n peter_n himself_o do_v plain_o enough_o declare_v for_o he_o exhort_v husband_n to_o dwell_v with_o their_o wife_n according_a to_o knowledge_n that_o be_v to_o keep_v and_o continue_v holy_o and_o kind_o with_o they_o 7_o not_o ungodly_a and_o uncourteous_o to_o forsake_v they_o and_o shall_v we_o imagine_v that_o s._n peter_n will_v teach_v other_o and_o not_o himself_o or_o say_v one_o thing_n and_o do_v another_o or_o that_o in_o word_n exhort_v they_o not_o to_o depart_v from_o their_o wife_n by_o his_o example_n he_o will_v move_v they_o to_o leave_v they_o that_o be_v far_o from_o we_o once_o to_o imagine_v and_o this_o we_o may_v be_v sure_a of_o that_o if_o he_o have_v forsake_v his_o wife_n as_o our_o popish_a catholic_n now_o or_o some_o other_o in_o former_a time_n injurious_a to_o that_o holy_a ordinance_n do_v surmise_v he_o will_v yet_o so_o have_v temper_v this_o his_o general_a commandment_n that_o his_o example_n shall_v not_o have_v be_v manifest_o repugnant_a to_o his_o doctrine_n therefore_o that_o he_o be_v marry_v the_o scripture_n report_n and_o it_o be_v by_o our_o adversary_n confess_v but_o that_o he_o forsake_v his_o wife_n it_o have_v no_o show_n of_o proof_n no_o colour_n of_o truth_n yea_o further_o the_o apostle_n do_v insinuate_v that_o the_o dwell_n together_o of_o man_n and_o wife_n in_o knowledge_n be_v a_o furtherance_n to_o their_o prayer_n and_o therefore_o unto_o that_o former_a exhortation_n he_o add_v these_o word_n 7_o that_o your_o prayer_n be_v not_o hinder_v thereby_o declare_v that_o the_o dwell_n together_o of_o man_n and_o wife_n as_o they_o ought_v to_o do_v be_v a_o furtherance_n to_o their_o prayer_n whereas_o on_o the_o contrary_a their_o separate_n of_o themselves_o in_o body_n may_v breed_v such_o a_o alienation_n of_o mind_n with_o other_o paul_n rule_n 5._o have_v such_o their_o abstinence_n when_o any_o be_v to_o be_v by_o consent_n for_o a_o time_n and_o again_o to_o come_v together_o that_o satan_n shall_v not_o tempt_v they_o for_o their_o incontinency_n for_o all_o man_n and_o woman_n be_v in_o danger_n of_o his_o assault_n and_o therefore_o to_o avoid_v fornication_n 2._o let_v every_o man_n have_v his_o wife_n and_o let_v every_o woman_n have_v she_o own_o husband_n 7._o say_v his_o fellow_n apostle_n and_o although_o man_n or_o woman_n may_v for_o a_o time_n feel_v themselves_o void_a of_o wanton_a and_o unchaste_a
