the_o old_a testament_n now_o if_o we_o shall_v not_o apply_v these_o ij_o text_n to_o the_o maintenance_n of_o the_o moral_a law_n or_o 10_o commandment_n to_o maintain_v the_o universallity_n of_o all_o thing_n write_v in_o the_o 10_o commandment_n and_o to_o maintain_v the_o integrity_n perfection_n &_o wolenesse_n of_o the_o 10_o commandment_n then_o whereunto_o shall_v we_o apply_v they_o for_o what_o portion_n of_o scripture_n be_v there_o beside_o this_o law_n in_o all_o the_o old_a testament_n whereof_o it_o can_v besaid_a that_o all_o thing_n therein_o write_v concern_v our_o practice_n &_o that_o that_o whole_a scripture_n be_v profitable_a to_o teach_v we_o to_o convince_v we_o to_o correct_v we_o and_o to_o instruct_v we_o what_o scripture_n of_o the_o old_a testament_n every_o commandment_n therein_o do_v bound_v we_o still_o to_o the_o obedience_n of_o they_o be_v this_o that_o the_o apostle_n s_o paul_n do_v ratify_v this_o law_n in_o the_o new_a testament_n say_v do_v we_o then_o make_v the_o law_n of_o none_o effect_v through_o faith_n god_n forbid_v yea_o we_o establish_v the_o law_n rom._n 3.31_o where_o you_o see_v the_o apostle_n affirm_v that_o he_o do_v establish_v the_o law_n now_o the_o word_n law_n in_o this_o text_n be_v not_o to_o be_v restrain_v to_o some_o part_n of_o it_o only_o but_o to_o be_v take_v in_o the_o large_a sense_n see_v they_o nothing_o in_o the_o context_n to_o hinder_v it_o now_o this_o law_n be_v know_v to_o contain_v 10_o commandment_n then_o he_o write_v upon_o the_o table_n according_a to_o the_o first_o writing_n the_o ten_o commandment_n deut._n 10.4_o the_o which_o be_v number_v by_o god_n lest_o the_o number_n thereof_o shall_v be_v diminish_v by_o man_n &_o again_o curse_a be_v every_o man_n that_o continue_v not_o in_o all_o thing_n which_o be_v write_v in_o the_o book_n of_o the_o law_n to_o do_v they_o gal._n 3.10_o here_o again_o all_o thing_n write_v in_o the_o law_n be_v ratify_v furthermore_o s._n james_n thus_o write_v whosoever_o shall_v keep_v the_o whole_a law_n &_o yet_o fail_v in_o one_o point_n he_o be_v guilty_a of_o all_o jam._n 2.10_o in_o which_o word_n s._n it_o shall_v we_o have_v no_o law_n now_o against_o work_v on_o the_o sabbath_n day_n 4._o if_o these_o word_n but_o the_o seven_o day_n be_v the_o sabbath_n be_v not_o moral_a but_o abolish_v than_o this_o absurdety_n follow_v that_o we_o be_v not_o tie_v by_o the_o four_o come_v to_o give_v god_n a_o sabbath_n once_o a_o week_n or_o one_o in_o 7_o day_n but_o it_o be_v enough_o if_o god_n have_v a_o sabbath_n once_o a_o month_n once_o a_o year_n one_o in_o 7_o day_n or_o one_o in_o 700_o day_n for_o in_o what_o part_n of_o the_o commandment_n will_v you_o find_v on_o what_o day_n in_o 700_o you_o shall_v keep_v your_o first_o sabbath_n if_o you_o abolish_v those_o word_n but_o the_o seven_o day_n be_v the_o sabbath_n etc._n etc._n be_v it_o not_o for_o these_o word_n may_v you_o not_o begin_v your_o first_o sabbath_n at_o the_o 700th_o day_n as_o well_o as_o at_o the_o seven_o day_n 5._o if_o no_o more_o of_o the_o four_o come_v be_v moral_a but_o these_o word_n remember_v the_o sabbath_n day_n to_o sanctify_v it_o then_o be_v the_o commandment_n six_o day_n thou_o shall_v labour_v and_o do_v all_o that_o thou_o have_v to_o do_v exod._n 20.9_o a_o bolish_v also_o now_o i_o marvel_v what_o offence_n these_o word_n be_v unto_o any_o that_o this_o command_n must_v be_v raze_v out_o too_o be_v these_o word_n typical_a or_o ceremonial_a at_o any_o time_n that_o they_o must_v jew_n 3._o you_o blot_v out_o the_o memory_n of_o the_o creation_n in_o remembrance_n of_o which_o miracle_n the_o seven_o day_n sabbath_n be_v solemnize_v exod._n 31.17_o 6._o i_o allege_v the_o all_o abolish_v now_o whereas_o some_o say_v all_o but_o the_o first_o word_n of_o the_o come_v be_v application_n it_o be_v more_o likely_a that_o they_o be_v explication_n now_o they_o will_v not_o reject_v i_o trust_v the_o explication_n of_o the_o commandment_n 2._o to_o say_v they_o be_v application_n it_o do_v imply_v that_o the_o word_n sabbath_n day_n in_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o commandment_n be_v certain_a general_a word_n which_o may_v be_v apply_v unto_o any_o day_n and_o so_o the_o latter_a part_n of_o the_o commandment_n shall_v apply_v they_o to_o the_o seven_o day_n but_o their_o foundation_n be_v sandy_a for_o they_o can_v show_v where_o at_o any_o time_n these_o word_n in_o the_o four_o commandment_n sabbath_n day_n be_v take_v general_o or_o for_o any_o other_o day_n than_o saturday_n the_o seven_o day_n 3._o since_o that_o these_o word_n sabbath_n day_n at_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o commandment_n &_o these_o the_o seven_o day_n be_v the_o sabbath_n towards_o the_o end_n of_o the_o commandment_n be_v promiscuous_o use_v in_o scripture_n the_o one_o for_o the_o other_o as_o have_v be_v prove_v it_o be_v absurd_a to_o suppose_v the_o one_o of_o these_o to_o be_v the_o application_n of_o the_o other_o 4._o since_o that_o we_o be_v command_v to_o sanctify_v the_o sabbath_n day_n exod._n 20.8_o and_o probibit_v to_o work_v on_o the_o seven_o day_n exod._n 20.10_o it_o be_v absurd_a to_o say_v that_o this_o latter_a be_v a_o application_n of_o the_o former_a be_v it_o not_o rather_o a_o addition_n and_o that_o of_o one_o part_n of_o the_o commandment_n to_o a_o other_o 5._o if_o the_o after_o part_n of_o the_o commandment_n be_v but_o application_n and_o belong_v not_o to_o we_o why_o then_o do_v all_o divine_n out_o of_o these_o after_o part_n of_o the_o commandment_n determine_v that_o one_o day_n in_o 7_o be_v moral_a and_o whereas_o some_o say_v that_o all_o the_o latter_a word_n of_o the_o come_v be_v appurtenance_n to_o the_o come_v i_o reply_v if_o they_o be_v but_o such_o appurrenance_n as_o may_v safe_o be_v sever_v from_o the_o come_v then_o 1._o we_o have_v no_o need_n now_o as_o those_o jew_n have_v of_o god_n insample_n &_o reason_n mention_v in_o the_o four_o commandment_n exod._n 20.11_o to_o move_v we_o to_o sanctify_v the_o sabbath_n day_n 2._o then_o need_v we_o not_o give_v god_n a_o sabbath_n once_o in_o 7_o day_n or_o once_o in_o 700_o day_n etc._n etc._n 3._o then_o do_v we_o abolish_v god_n express_a prohibition_n of_o do_v servile_a work_n on_o the_o sabbuth_n day_n exod._n 20.10_o fourthly_a then_o why_o have_v divine_n and_o expositor_n affirm_v that_o one_o day_n of_o 7_o be_v moral_a out_o of_o these_o word_n the_o seven_o day_n be_v the_o sabbath_n 5._o that_o these_o word_n the_o
