christianity_n that_o make_v any_o to_o be_v christian_n and_o member_n of_o the_o catholic_n church_n it_o be_v not_o every_o inferior_a truth_n that_o do_v so_o neither_o do_v every_o error_n cast_v a_o man_n out_o of_o it_o that_o church_n then_o which_o comprehend_v all_o the_o true_a christian_n in_o the_o world_n be_v the_o church_n we_o be_v of_o before_o luther_n we_o do_v not_o confine_v the_o catholic_n church_n to_o any_o sect_n or_o party_n protestant_n we_o hold_v be_v the_o sound_a part_n of_o this_o church_n but_o not_o the_o whole_a church_n all_o within_o the_o communion_n of_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n that_o be_v true_a christian_n we_o allow_v to_o be_v of_o this_o church_n and_o the_o same_o we_o say_v of_o the_o greek_n armenian_n ethiopian_n abyssine_n or_o any_o other_o profess_v christianity_n and_o though_o the_o papist_n talk_v much_o of_o antiquity_n if_o they_o will_v try_v whether_o their_o doctrine_n or_o we_o be_v the_o sound_a we_o be_v willing_a to_o appeal_v to_o antiquity_n let_v the_o elder_a way_n of_o religion_n carry_v it_o we_o be_v of_o a_o religion_n that_o be_v not_o less_o than_o sixteen_o hundred_o year_n old_a for_o we_o hold_v the_o doctrine_n deliver_v by_o christ_n and_o his_o apostle_n which_o they_o have_v shameful_o depart_v from_o but_o the_o papist_n far_a ask_v we_o if_o their_o church_n be_v not_o the_o true_a church_n what_o be_v become_v of_o our_o forefather_n who_o die_v in_o the_o communion_n of_o their_o church_n we_o answer_v they_o may_v live_v and_o die_v in_o the_o communion_n of_o that_o church_n and_o yet_o be_v free_a from_o many_o of_o the_o gross_a error_n in_o it_o and_o god_n may_v gracious_o pass_v by_o their_o ignorance_n and_o weakness_n who_o have_v not_o so_o great_a a_o light_n be_v the_o church_n say_v not_o to_o err_v answ_n 1._o the_o whole_a do_v not_o err_v though_o some_o particular_a church_n may_v 2._o the_o church_n do_v not_o err_v universal_o though_o in_o some_o point_n of_o doctrine_n it_o may_v which_o be_v not_o essential_a or_o fundamental_a to_o salvation_n let_v we_o now_o consider_v what_o improvement_n we_o be_v to_o make_v of_o this_o article_n 1._o this_o show_v we_o the_o admirable_a privilege_n of_o every_o true_o regenerate_v sanctify_a person_n who_o be_v most_o certain_o a_o member_n of_o the_o true_a catholic_n church_n all_o true_a christian_n be_v catholic_n in_o a_o better_a sense_n than_o the_o romanist_n use_v that_o word_n but_o whosoever_o be_v wicked_a and_o profane_a let_v they_o talk_v they_o be_v for_o the_o church_n etc._n etc._n it_o be_v manifest_a they_o be_v not_o member_n of_o christ_n holy_a catholic_n church_n 2._o all_o that_o be_v true_a member_n of_o the_o catholic_n church_n shall_v keep_v close_o to_o member_n of_o the_o catholic_n chhurch_n may_v comfort_v themselves_o with_o this_o consideration_n that_o they_o have_v a_o share_n in_o the_o paayer_n of_o this_o catholic_n or_o universal_a
