as_o a_o duty_n of_o truth_n and_o honesty_n in_o the_o servant_n since_o as_o he_o be_v bind_v to_o perform_v his_o part_n of_o the_o contract_n so_o likewise_o be_v the_o master_n to_o perform_v what_o he_o have_v promise_v they_o since_o this_o service_n be_v neither_o absolute_a nor_o perpetual_a so_o that_o when_o his_o time_n be_v out_o he_o be_v free_a of_o course_n and_o if_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n the_o master_n do_v not_o allow_v he_o sufficient_a food_n clothes_n or_o hour_n of_o rest_n so_o that_o he_o may_v be_v able_a to_o perform_v his_o work_n this_o servant_n in_o the_o state_n of_o nature_n if_o he_o can_v persuade_v his_o master_n to_o use_v he_o better_o may_v without_o doubt_n quit_v his_o service_n as_o soon_o as_o he_o can_v since_o he_o be_v to_o yield_v his_o master_n his_o labour_n upon_o certain_a condition_n which_o not_o perform_v on_o the_o master_n part_n the_o servant_n be_v not_o oblige_v any_o long_a to_o perform_v his_o part_n of_o the_o bargain_n in_o live_v with_o he_o or_o serve_v he_o and_o as_o for_o those_o that_o have_v sell_v or_o yield_v themselves_o up_o as_o absolute_a perpetual_a servant_n or_o slave_n to_o the_o government_n of_o another_o i_o see_v no_o reason_n why_o they_o may_v not_o in_o this_o state_n of_o nature_n make_v certain_a condition_n with_o their_o master_n before_o they_o will_v give_v murder_n of_o the_o death_n of_o her_o husband_n since_o no_o man_n can_v be_v suppose_v so_o void_a of_o common_a sense_n unless_o a_o absolute_a fool_n and_o then_o he_o be_v not_o capable_a of_o make_v any_o bargain_n to_o yield_v himself_o so_o absolute_o up_o to_o another_o disposal_n as_o to_o renounce_v all_o hope_n of_o safety_n or_o satisfaction_n in_o this_o life_n or_o of_o future_a happiness_n in_o that_o to_o come_v so_o that_o i_o conceive_v that_o even_o a_o slave_n much_o more_o a_o servant_n hire_v upon_o certain_a condition_n in_o the_o state_n of_o nature_n where_o he_o have_v no_o civil_a power_n to_o who_o to_o appeal_v for_o justice_n have_v as_o much_o right_n as_o a_o son_n or_o child_n of_o the_o family_n to_o defend_v his_o life_n or_o what_o belong_v to_o no_o notion_n of_o happiness_n but_o in_o life_n nor_o in_o that_o far_o than_o it_o be_v accompany_v with_o some_o contentment_n of_o mind_n no_o rational_a man_n can_v be_v suppose_v to_o consent_v instance_n in_o the_o point_n of_o tyranny_n and_o therefore_o the_o author_n endeavour_v to_o make_v he_o contradict_v himself_o thus_o tyranny_n say_v aristotle_n lib._n 3._o cap._n 7._o be_v a_o despotical_a or_o masterly_a monarchy_n now_o he_o confess_v l._n 3._o c._n 6._o that_o in_o truth_n the_o masterly_a government_n be_v profitable_a both_o to_o the_o servant_n by_o nature_n and_o the_o master_n by_o nature_n and_o he_o yield_v a_o solid_a reason_n for_o it_o viz._n it_o be_v not_o possible_a if_o the_o servant_n be_v destroy_v the_o mastership_n can_v be_v save_v whence_o it_o may_v be_v infer_v that_o if_o the_o masterly_a government_n of_o tyrant_n can_v be_v safe_a without_o the_o preservation_n of_o they_o who_o they_o govern_v it_o will_v follow_v that_o a_o tyrant_n can_v govern_v for_o his_o own_o profit_n only_o and_o thus_o his_o main_a definition_n of_o tyranny_n fail_v as_o be_v ground_v on_o a_o impossible_a supposition_n by_o his_o own_o confession_n no_o example_n can_v be_v show_v of_o any_o such_o government_n that_o ever_o be_v in_o the_o world_n as_o aristotle_n describe_v tyranny_n to_o be_v for_o under_o the_o worst_a of_o king_n though_o many_o say_v in_o that_o place_n he_o quote_v or_o in_o any_o other_o that_o i_o know_v of_o that_o tyranny_n be_v a_o despotical_a or_o masterly_a monarchy_n and_o therefore_o all_o he_o build_v upon_o this_o concession_n be_v false_a it_o be_v true_a indeed_o aristotle_n say_v that_o the_o government_n of_o the_o master_n be_v profitable_a both_o to_o the_o servant_n by_o nature_n and_o the_o master_n by_o nature_n that_o be_v upon_o his_o supposition_n that_o they_o be_v either_o so_o by_o nature_n but_o the_o author_n omit_v what_o immediate_o follow_v because_o it_o will_v vindicate_v good_a of_o they_o all_o hence_o it_o appear_v plain_o that_o aristotle_n when_o he_o say_v that_o a_o tyranny_n be_v for_o the_o benefit_n of_o the_o governor_n alone_o he_o do_v not_o mean_a that_o the_o subject_n can_v have_v no_o benefit_n at_o all_o by_o it_o since_o it_o be_v the_o tyrant_n interest_n they_o shall_v live_v and_o get_v child_n or_o else_o he_o will_v quick_o want_v subject_n
