all_o man_n by_o the_o power_n of_o truth_n reveal_v in_o the_o scripture_n neither_o be_v the_o scripture_n contrary_a to_o itself_o or_o any_o the_o least_o contradiction_n in_o it_o for_o as_o no_o other_o also_o that_o have_v attain_v to_o a_o high_a degree_n of_o assurance_n and_o be_v able_a to_o conclude_v and_o that_o safe_o that_o their_o sin_n be_v forgive_v and_o that_o christ_n be_v their_o righteousness_n unto_o justification_n yet_o see_v their_o own_o weakness_n and_o know_v that_o they_o be_v sanctify_v but_o in_o part_n and_o have_v a_o law_n in_o their_o member_n rebel_a against_o the_o law_n of_o the_o mind_n 19_o they_o have_v need_n and_o do_v pray_v for_o a_o further_a discovery_n of_o god_n love_n to_o perfect_v their_o sanctification_n that_o they_o may_v thereby_o have_v a_o further_a evidence_n of_o their_o justification_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v say_v forgive_v we_o our_o debt_n as_o we_o forgive_v our_o debtor_n that_o be_v lord_n work_n in_o we_o such_o a_o holy_a frame_n of_o spirit_n that_o see_v thou_o have_v free_o forgive_v we_o through_o christ_n all_o our_o sin_n we_o may_v also_o free_o for_o thy_o sake_n forgive_v our_o offend_a of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o of_o fire_n and_o the_o baptism_n of_o suffering_n all_o which_o 50._o be_v beautiful_a in_o their_o season_n and_o some_o of_o they_o be_v still_o of_o great_a concernment_n to_o the_o saint_n the_o baptism_n of_o water_n be_v the_o baptism_n of_o john_n who_o be_v send_v of_o god_n to_o 1._o prepare_v the_o way_n of_o christ_n israel_n have_v 6._o dwell_v long_o enough_o in_o that_o mount_n of_o outside_n observation_n for_o although_o they_o have_v their_o legal_a wash_n and_o cleansing_n 10._o which_o be_v and_o may_v be_v call_v baptism_n yet_o all_o these_o can_v not_o wash_v away_o 21._o one_o sin_n from_o the_o conscience_n but_o serve_v only_o to_o cleanse_v they_o from_o legal_a pollution_n though_o they_o be_v not_o without_o their_o signification_n but_o now_o the_o baptism_n of_o john_n and_o his_o ministry_n be_v mighty_a 17._o for_o he_o come_v in_o the_o spirit_n and_o power_n of_o elias_n and_o be_v a_o sign_n of_o a_o great_a change_n of_o administration_n for_o he_o call_v they_o to_o repentance_n even_o to_o repent_v of_o â—_o all_o that_o outside_n and_o formal_a religion_n which_o they_o have_v so_o hot_o pursue_v for_o they_o be_v general_o grow_v so_o corrupt_a and_o so_o blockish_a and_o blind_a withal_o that_o they_o imagine_v that_o by_o the_o bare_a outside_n 9_o performance_n of_o those_o legal_a cleansing_n they_o be_v sufficient_o sanctify_v though_o they_o continue_v in_o the_o practice_n of_o most_o gross_a and_o notorious_a sin_n but_o john_n tell_v they_o plain_a that_o although_o god_n have_v long_o endure_v and_o bear_v with_o their_o hipocrisy_n and_o formality_n yet_o now_o he_o will_v bear_v no_o long_o for_o he_o have_v now_o lay_v the_o axe_n to_o the_o root_n of_o the_o tree_n 10._o and_o if_o any_o tree_n be_v barren_a or_o do_v not_o bring_v forth_o good_a fruit_n it_o be_v to_o be_v hew_v down_o and_o cast_v into_o the_o fire_n hereby_o give_v they_o to_o understand_v that_o unless_o they_o do_v desist_v from_o all_o their_o wicked_a and_o ungodly_a way_n and_o course_n and_o amend_v their_o evil_a life_n 14._o there_o be_v no_o remission_n of_o act_v by_o he_o through_o a_o spirit_n or_o principle_n of_o nature_n to_o walk_v honest_o and_o civil_o in_o thing_n of_o outward_a concernment_n but_o now_o there_o be_v a_o more_o special_a and_o spiritual_a indwelling_a of_o god_n in_o the_o saint_n namely_o the_o eternal_a indwelling_a of_o his_o love_n in_o jesus_n christ_n where_o he_o have_v from_o all_o â—_o eternity_n choose_v they_o and_o make_v they_o one_o with_o himself_o in_o christ_n and_o in_o due_a time_n in_o their_o several_a generation_n have_v manifest_v and_o do_v manifest_a and_o reveal_v this_o love_n which_o be_v christ_n in_o their_o heart_n which_o 6._o do_v assure_v they_o of_o their_o adoption_n and_o of_o their_o union_n with_o he_o and_o whereby_o they_o be_v carry_v forth_o to_o live_v up_o to_o he_o in_o this_o life_n but_o more_o especial_o by_o hell_n torment_n to_o 9_o which_o the_o wicked_a be_v reserve_v until_o the_o judgement_n of_o the_o great_a day_n to_o suffer_v the_o 7._o vengeance_n of_o eternal_a fire_n when_o all_o sin_n and_o all_o sinner_n and_o devil_n and_o wicked_a 41_o spirit_n shall_v be_v gather_v into_o one_o body_n and_o confound_v or_o cast_v into_o a_o condition_n needs_o be_v guilty_a as_o have_v sin_n in_o they_o if_o this_o be_v not_o a_o mystery_n or_o rather_o a_o contradiction_n let_v all_o man_n judge_v indeed_o the_o saint_n even_o the_o best_a of_o they_o be_v in_o hell_n before_o they_o be_v in_o heaven_n for_o they_o all_o pass_v through_o a_o state_n of_o nature_n a_o kingdom_n of_o sin_n where_o while_o they_o remain_v unregenerate_v they_o be_v in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o satan_n without_o christ_n and_o without_o god_n in_o the_o world_n but_o when_o god_n reveal_v 12._o christ_n in_o the_o soul_n when_o they_o be_v regenerate_v and_o bear_v anew_o when_o christ_n who_o be_v both_o light_n and_o life_n appear_v than_o they_o be_v translate_v out_o of_o this_o kingdom_n of_o darkness_n 13._o and_o enter_v into_o heaven_n then_o they_o be_v in_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n for_o god_n dwell_v in_o glory_n and_o when_o he_o have_v take_v any_o soul_n into_o himself_o in_o the_o least_o measure_n or_o degree_n than_o that_o soul_n be_v in_o heaven_n and_o this_o be_v many_o time_n but_o a_o low_a and_o 24._o cloud_a condition_n and_o great_a mixture_n of_o light_n and_o darkness_n day_n and_o night_n peace_n and_o trouble_n because_o they_o can_v apprehend_v any_o thing_n of_o god_n but_o through_o a_o veil_n or_o fleshly_a ordinance_n and_o form_n of_o worship_n and_o therefore_o see_v and_o enjoy_v
