apostle_n grant_v that_o the_o gentile_n have_v be_v but_o only_o the_o law_n and_o light_n of_o a_o man_n own_o nature_n and_o not_o any_o principle_n of_o light_n or_o life_n that_o be_v of_o a_o principle_n 2._o it_o be_v evident_a that_o this_o inward_a principle_n be_v the_o very_a principle_n of_o the_o gospel_n in_o they_o in_o that_o paul_n say_v that_o god_n will_v render_v to_o every_o man_n according_a to_o his_o deed_n in_o the_o day_n when_o god_n shall_v judge_v the_o secret_n of_o man_n by_o jesus_n christ_n according_a to_o my_o gospel_n i._n e._n the_o gospel_n which_o he_o preach_v now_o if_o the_o gentile_n shall_v be_v judge_v according_a to_o the_o gospel_n than_o the_o gospel_n behove_v in_o some_o measure_n to_o be_v manifest_a unto_o they_o for_o no_o man_n shall_v be_v judge_v according_a to_o that_o which_o be_v not_o make_v manifest_a it_o be_v a_o most_o certain_a maxim_n a_o law_n not_o promulgate_v do_v not_o oblige_v and_o the_o law_n which_o do_v not_o oblige_v do_v not_o condemn_v the_o transgressor_n thereof_o and_o the_o law_n that_o do_v not_o condemn_v the_o transgressor_n thereof_o can_v not_o be_v a_o law_n according_a to_o which_o life_n to_o which_o i_o answer_v but_o these_o gentile_n do_v the_o thing_n containâ—…d_v in_o the_o law_n so_o that_o they_o be_v excuse_v yea_o and_o justify_v and_o do_v receive_v the_o reward_n of_o glory_n honour_n and_o peace_n in_o so_o do_v for_o say_v the_o apostle_n even_o concern_v these_o same_o gentile_n glory_n honour_n and_o peace_n to_o every_o man_n that_o work_v good_a to_o the_o jew_n first_o and_o also_o to_o the_o gentile_a which_o import_v that_o some_o of_o these_o gentile_n do_v work_v good_a and_o also_o receive_v glory_n etc._n etc._n as_o the_o reward_n thereof_o now_o see_v how_o abundant_o the_o apostle_n clear_v this_o matter_n not_o the_o hearer_n of_o the_o law_n say_v he_o but_o the_o doer_n of_o the_o law_n be_v justify_v vers_fw-la 13._o spirit_n though_o not_o in_o the_o letter_n and_o so_o have_v praise_n of_o god_n though_o not_o of_o man_n by_o all_o which_o it_o be_v plain_a that_o the_o nature_n here_o speak_v of_o can_v be_v man_n own_o nature_n which_o be_v corrupt_a but_o that_o divine_a nature_n aforesaid_a whereof_o such_o of_o the_o gentile_n who_o be_v obedient_a to_o the_o truth_n inward_o make_v manifest_a be_v partaker_n and_o so_o be_v justify_v through_o faith_n though_o they_o be_v the_o uncircumcision_n as_o the_o circumcision_n be_v justify_v by_o faith_n also_o and_o herein_o be_v that_o great_a error_n of_o pelagius_n that_o he_o affirm_v the_o gentile_n be_v justify_v by_o their_o own_o nature_n without_o the_o grace_n of_o christ_n judge_v the_o nature_n here_o mention_v to_o be_v man_n own_o nature_n whereas_o it_o be_v that_o divine_a nature_n aforesaid_a that_o be_v the_o very_a grace_n or_o gift_n of_o christ._n but_o that_o the_o gentile_n can_v not_o be_v justify_v by_o their_o not_o draw_v the_o virtue_n of_o it_o into_o his_o heart_n and_o indeed_o so_o it_o be_v with_o we_o man_n in_o the_o unconverted_a state_n we_o be_v in_o such_o a_o impotent_a condition_n to_o do_v any_o thing_n for_o our_o selus_fw-la that_o if_o life_n and_o virtue_n from_o god_n be_v not_o bring_v so_o near_o we_o as_o to_o be_v put_v in_o our_o very_a heart_n we_o can_v not_o live_v for_o we_o be_v not_o only_o weak_a and_o sick_a but_o we_o be_v dead_a in_o sin_n and_o trespass_n and_o this_o be_v the_o wonderful_a mercy_n of_o the_o lord_n that_o he_o have_v bring_v this_o bread_n of_o life_n as_o near_o we_o as_o be_v possible_a for_o our_o quicken_a and_o salvation_n he_o have_v put_v it_o not_o only_o in_o our_o mouth_n but_o in_o our_o heart_n yet_o if_o the_o heart_n do_v not_o kind_o receive_v it_o nor_o suffer_v it_o to_o have_v its_o operation_n therein_o notwithstanding_o it_o be_v bring_v so_o near_o it_o will_v not_o give_v life_n unto_o the_o heart_n but_o be_v a_o savour_n of_o death_n unto_o death_n thereunto_o but_o where_o the_o heart_n do_v receive_v it_o so_o as_o to_o unite_v therewith_o it_o not_o only_o become_v life_n unto_o the_o heart_n so_o as_o to_o fill_v it_o with_o pure_a heavenly_a refreshment_n and_o joy_n and_o with_o most_o excellent_a and_o heavenly_a breathe_n thought_n desire_n and_o meditation_n concern_v the_o mercy_n goodness_n power_n and_o love_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o of_o his_o wisdom_n righteousness_n purity_n and_o holiness_n or_o whatever_o else_o it_o taste_v of_o and_o enjoy_v in_o he_o but_o also_o become_v a_o most_o abundant_a wellspring_n of_o life_n unto_o the_o mouth_n whereby_o it_o be_v open_v after_o a_o marvellous_a manner_n to_o utter_v and_o express_v the_o thought_n and_o feelling_n and_o joy_n of_o the_o heart_n in_o live_a word_n which_o be_v spirit_n and_o life_n have_v of_o the_o very_a virtue_n of_o the_o divine_a life_n in_o they_o which_o as_o they_o be_v a_o most_o sweet_a and_o acceptable_a favour_n unto_o god_n so_o be_v they_o of_o great_a use_n and_o service_n unto_o man_n both_o for_o quicken_a the_o dead_a and_o for_o refresh_v and_o build_v up_o the_o live_n yet_o more_o abundant_o in_o the_o power_n of_o that_o life_n which_o have_v quicken_v they_o and_o thus_o the_o word_n spring_v up_o from_o the_o heart_n into_o the_o mouth_n but_o here_o it_o as_o it_o be_v descend_v from_o the_o mouth_n into_o the_o heart_n therefore_o it_o be_v first_o say_v to_o be_v in_o the_o mouth_n the_o word_n be_v near_o thou_o in_o thy_o mouth_n and_o in_o thy_o heart_n know_v that_o be_v come_v already_o forasmuch_o as_o they_o do_v daily_o hear_v christ_n and_o the_o disciple_n preach_v of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n for_o this_o be_v it_o that_o they_o preach_v as_o the_o main_a thing_n and_o he_o give_v his_o disciple_n charge_v most_o concern_v this_o that_o they_o shall_v preach_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n as_o near_o at_o hand_n and_o come_v and_o yet_o
