comparison_n of_o god_n shall_v not_o be_v count_v worthy_a of_o he_o let_v we_o therefore_o see_v that_o our_o soul_n be_v so_o thorough_o subject_v unto_o god_n if_o ever_o we_o desire_v to_o be_v count_v the_o seed_n of_o abraham_n and_o the_o brother_n of_o isaac_n but_o oh_o how_o far_o short_a do_v very_o many_o of_o we_o come_v of_o this_o obedience_n for_o how_o shall_v any_o man_n believe_v that_o we_o will_v ready_o part_v without_o life_n for_o god_n which_o will_v not_o part_v with_o honour_n or_o good_n or_o pleasure_n yea_o any_o of_o our_o sin_n at_o his_o commandment_n you_o be_v not_o isaac_n if_o you_o can_v be_v content_a to_o give_v up_o your_o life_n to_o god_n how_o much_o less_o if_o you_o stand_v with_o he_o for_o other_o matter_n far_o less_o than_o life_n his_o father_n bring_v he_o up_o in_o it_o therefore_o he_o can_v say_v where_o be_v the_o lamb_n indeed_o the_o lord_n have_v abolish_v such_o kind_n of_o altar_n and_o such_o kind_n of_o sacrifice_n now_o since_o the_o come_n of_o jesus_n christ_n into_o the_o world_n and_o offer_v himself_o once_o for_o all_o as_o a_o propitiatory_a sacrifice_n to_o take_v away_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o world_n 13.10_o but_o yet_o now_o also_o we_o have_v a_o altar_n whereof_o they_o have_v no_o right_a to_o eat_v that_o partake_v of_o those_o sacrifice_n christ_n jesus_n be_v our_o altar_n who_o sacrifi_v god_n resolve_v to_o walk_v before_o he_o in_o all_o upright_a obedience_n pray_v for_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n to_o sanctify_v he_o that_o in_o all_o thing_n he_o may_v please_v god_n no_o bullock_n or_o ram_n can_v please_v the_o lord_n so_o well_o if_o he_o set_v apart_o some_o portion_n of_o his_o wealth_n to_o god_n and_o give_v it_o to_o relieve_v the_o necessity_n of_o the_o saint_n this_o be_v very_o sweet_a incense_n so_o that_o he_o trust_v not_o in_o the_o merit_n of_o the_o work_n as_o if_o it_o can_v deserve_v any_o thing_n for_o the_o worthiness_n of_o it_o but_o trust_v alone_o in_o christ_n for_o the_o acceptation_n of_o himself_o and_o it_o and_o all_o his_o service_n will_v you_o confirm_v to_o your_o own_o conscience_n that_o you_o be_v true_a isaac_n ask_v yourselves_o then_o do_v you_o offer_v these_o burn_a offering_n if_o not_o you_o be_v not_o as_o isaac_n childeren_n of_o the_o promise_n if_o yea_o you_o may_v assure_v your_o soul_n that_o you_o be_v o_o then_o study_v to_o abound_v in_o these_o service_n thing_n again_o it_o be_v note_v that_o he_o call_v on_o the_o name_n of_o god_n there_o and_o so_o it_o be_v note_v gen._n 25.21_o that_o isaac_n entreat_v the_o lord_n for_o rebeccah_n his_o wife_n because_o she_o be_v barren_a he_o pray_v constant_o to_o god_n for_o a_o child_n in_o this_o also_o testify_v his_o
