this_o i._o s._n be_v and_o for_o i._o s._n i_o may_v say_v thus_o much_o of_o he_o that_o he_o be_v yet_o vain_a than_o mr_n knollys_n in_o his_o answer_n for_o he_o candid_o deny_v upon_o all_o occasion_n the_o minor_n of_o my_o syllogism_n and_o then_o give_v some_o suck_a reason_n for_o this_o his_o denial_n but_o this_o i._o s._n have_v nothing_o of_o a_o scholar_n in_o he_o for_o all_o but_o he_o that_o do_v truth_n come_v to_o the_o light_n etc._n etc._n true_o i_o may_v just_o accuse_v i._n s._n and_o his_o fraternity_n of_o this_o sin_n that_o they_o not_o only_o shun_v the_o light_n themselves_o but_o hinder_v other_o also_o from_o it_o and_o do_v whatsoever_o in_o they_o lie_v to_o keep_v man_n from_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o truth_n and_o from_o pry_v into_o their_o believer_n before_o they_o receive_v they_o and_o if_o those_o gift_n have_v be_v essential_a and_o absolute_o necessary_a for_o the_o make_n of_o any_o christian_n than_o all_o that_o have_v receive_v they_o shall_v have_v be_v save_v which_o they_o be_v not_o beside_o then_o many_o hundred_o thousand_o of_o the_o primitive_a christian_n shall_v not_o have_v be_v true_a believer_n and_o christian_n indeed_o for_o all_o man_n general_o receive_v they_o not_o as_o i_o prove_v before_o and_o all_o the_o christian_n for_o aught_o i_o know_v since_o the_o primitive_a time_n and_o all_o divine_v yea_o and_o all_o the_o independent_o that_o ever_o i_o talk_v with_o or_o read_v of_o before_o i._n s._n and_o my_o brother_n burton_n acknowledge_v that_o those_o that_o be_v baptize_v by_o happiness_n and_o there_o be_v very_o good_a reason_n for_o it_o for_o they_o all_o know_v that_o john_n have_v so_o honourable_a a_o esteem_n of_o christ_n as_o he_o think_v himself_o not_o worthy_a to_o carry_v his_o shoe_n mat._n 3._o 11._o they_o know_v also_o how_o high_o christ_n have_v often_o magnify_v john_n proclaim_v he_o to_o be_v the_o great_a prophet_n that_o ever_o be_v bear_v of_o woman_n and_o how_o that_o christ_n have_v command_v john_n to_o baptize_v himself_o so_o much_o he_o honour_v his_o ministry_n they_o by_o their_o experience_n likewise_o know_v that_o their_o be_v great_a correspondency_n &_o continue_a amity_n between_o their_o master_n and_o that_o they_o justify_v each_o other_o ministry_n and_o that_o before_o all_o the_o people_n john_n teach_v the_o people_n that_o he_o be_v the_o messiah_n and_o the_o lamb_n of_o god_n that_o be_v to_o take_v away_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o world_n and_o christ_n upon_o all_o occasion_n make_v mention_n of_o john_n with_o great_a praise_n say_v that_o his_o ministry_n be_v from_o heaven_n and_o that_o he_o be_v his_o messenger_n to_o prepare_v his_o way_n before_o he_o so_o that_o i_o say_v in_o all_o these_o respect_n and_o many_o more_o that_o may_v be_v specify_v it_o follow_v that_o johns_n disciple_n neither_o hesitate_v nor_o be_v scandalize_v at_o the_o true_a messiah_n as_o i._o s._n grollish_o and_o wicked_o infer_v beside_o they_o know_v that_o at_o christ_n baptism_n mat._n 3._o the_o holy_a ghost_n descend_v like_o a_o dove_n light_v upon_o he_o and_o a_o voice_n come_v from_o heaven_n say_v this_o be_v my_o belove_a son_n in_o who_o i_o be_o well_o please_v so_o that_o johns_n disciple_n that_o be_v daily_o with_o their_o master_n and_o wait_v upon_o his_o ministry_n that_o the_o blind_a see_v and_o the_o lame_a walk_n and_o the_o leper_n be_v cleanse_v the_o deaf_a hear_v the_o dead_a be_v raise_v and_o the_o poor_a receive_v the_o gospel_n and_o for_o this_o very_a end_n do_v john_n send_v two_o of_o his_o disciple_n to_o christ_n not_o that_o either_o he_o or_o they_o doubt_v whether_o he_o be_v the_o messiah_n or_o no_o but_o that_o they_o may_v be_v well_o make_v up_o a_o form_a church_n or_o church_n as_o ten_o or_o twelve_o in_o one_o of_o our_o new_a congregation_n and_o therefore_o that_o they_o ought_v to_o have_v be_v take_v notice_n of_o by_o my_o brother_n burton_n and_o those_o of_o his_o fraternity_n as_o form_v into_o a_o church_n or_o church_n which_o notwithstanding_o they_o do_v not_o assert_v in_o express_a term_n that_o they_o take_v no_o notice_n of_o they_o as_o form_v into_o a_o church_n or_o church_n which_o if_o it_o be_v not_o the_o high_a point_n of_o blasphemy_n and_o temerity_n i_o know_v not_o what_o so_o that_o have_v so_o good_a company_n we_o may_v the_o more_o quiet_o sit_v down_o when_o we_o be_v so_o like_o our_o master_n and_o his_o disciple_n and_o follower_n of_o all_o the_o which_o they_o say_v they_o take_v no_o notice_n of_o they_o as_o form_v into_o a_o church_n or_o churches_n these_o word_n may_v not_o slight_o be_v pass_v over_o we_o say_v my_o brother_n burton_n take_v saint_n and_o infidel_n and_o communicate_v in_o all_o ordinance_n now_o whither_o or_o no_o master_n knollys_n by_o this_o doctrine_n of_o he_o do_v not_o fight_v against_o the_o opinion_n of_o all_o notwithstanding_o so_o great_a a_o noy_n about_o therefore_o whether_o this_o be_v not_o a_o great_a temerity_n in_o these_o man_n thus_o upon_o all_o occasion_n not_o only_o to_o censure_v their_o christian_n brethren_n that_o live_v harmelesse_o by_o they_o but_o to_o suspect_v all_o those_o that_o be_v convert_v by_o the_o baptist_n and_o the_o apostle_n themselves_o before_o christ_n death_n sectary_n and_o straggler_n of_o our_o time_n and_o to_o decline_v &_o shun_v their_o company_n and_o fellowship_n and_o for_o all_o such_o as_o they_o be_v that_o will_v receive_v the_o good_a seed_n of_o the_o word_n into_o good_a and_o honest_a heart_n i_o desire_v ever_o to_o satisfy_v they_o and_o not_o those_o that_o be_v resolve_v to_o be_v ever_o scepticall_a and_o ever_o learning_n yet_o never_o attain_v or_o come_v to_o knowledge_n or_o at_o least_o withhold_v the_o truth_n from_o other_o in_o unrighteousness_n and_o for_o all_o such_o i_o shall_v not_o much_o study_n to_o give_v please_v his_o own_o humour_n in_o heap_v up_o a_o senseless_a and_o confuse_a multitude_n of_o word_n and_o that_o only_a to_o delude_v the_o people_n but_o shall_v i_o make_v a_o full_a discovery_n
