last_o query_n the_o law_n strict_o take_v for_o a_o covenant_n of_o work_n do_v only_o teach_v christ_n virtual_o and_o by_o consequence_n as_o it_o teach_v they_o that_o they_o can_v not_o be_v justify_v by_o its_o righteousness_n and_o thus_o for_o aught_o i_o know_v the_o law_n in_o its_o accusation_n teach_v christ_n to_o the_o gentile_n as_o it_o convince_v they_o of_o the_o insufficiency_n of_o their_o own_o righteousness_n but_o now_o the_o law_n in_o the_o second_o sense_n as_o take_v for_o the_o scripture_n of_o the_o old_a testament_n teach_v christ_n formal_o and_o direct_o though_o more_o obscure_o than_o the_o gospel_n teach_v he_o viz._n in_o type_n and_o prophecy_n it_o be_v endless_a to_o reckon_v up_o all_o the_o type_n promise_n and_o prophecy_n of_o
