but_o the_o church_n sense_n but_o than_o you_o will_v not_o be_v able_a to_o find_v so_o much_o as_o one_o popery_n in_o the_o church_n and_o that_o it_o may_v be_v the_o vindicator_n never_o think_v of_o for_o whilst_o every_o body_n give_v his_o own_o sense_n to_o the_o word_n of_o the_o council_n as_o they_o say_v every_o one_o of_o we_o do_v to_o the_o word_n of_o the_o scripture_n indeed_o no_o man_n can_v be_v certain_a that_o the_o church_n sense_n be_v not_o reach_v by_o any_o of_o the_o private_a sentiment_n of_o man_n but_o who_o have_v have_v the_o good_a luck_n to_o reach_v it_o the_o lord_n know_v for_o it_o be_v a_o happiness_n which_o no_o man_n that_o have_v it_o can_v certain_o say_v that_o he_o have_v and_o therefore_o by_o that_o trick_n which_o serve_v he_o to_o keep_v two_o popery_n out_o of_o the_o church_n he_o have_v unaware_o throw_v out_o all_o popery_n except_v that_o dead_a popery_n that_o lie_v bury_v in_o the_o word_n of_o general_n and_o approve_a council_n thus_o speak_v of_o that_o which_o we_o term_v old_a popery_n and_o his_o party_n condemn_v it_o he_o say_v 6._o pag._n 6._o so_o long_o as_o there_o be_v such_o a_o dispute_n betwixt_o they_o who_o the_o church_n acknowledge_v to_o be_v her_o child_n and_o she_o do_v not_o determine_v it_o any_o one_o may_v hold_v which_o side_n they_o please_v as_o a_o opinion_n or_o suspend_v their_o judgement_n but_o neither_o side_n be_v true_o what_o you_o ought_v to_o mean_v by_o popery_n so_o that_o it_o be_v neither_o popery_n to_o worship_v image_n with_o the_o same_o worship_n that_o be_v due_a to_o what_o they_o represent_v nor_o be_v it_o popery_n to_o worship_v they_o with_o a_o worship_n that_o be_v not_o the_o same_o nor_o be_v it_o popery_n to_o worship_v they_o as_o it_o be_v not_o at_o all_o and_o therefore_o the_o child_n of_o the_o church_n may_v hold_v which_o side_n they_o please_v as_o a_o opinion_n they_o may_v with_o cardinal_n capisucchi_fw-it be_fw-mi of_o the_o opinion_n that_o m._n the_o meaux_n doctrine_n concern_v due_a honour_n and_o veneration_n savour_v of_o heresy_n and_o they_o may_v with_o m._n de_fw-fr meaux_n be_v of_o the_o opinion_n that_o capisucchi_n doctrine_n savour_v of_o idolatry_n and_o they_o that_o be_v of_o the_o former_a opinion_n may_v yet_o with_o the_o cardinal_n approve_v the_o bishop_n exposition_n and_o they_o that_o be_v of_o the_o late_a opinion_n may_v with_o the_o bishop_n say_v that_o the_o cardinal_n in_o his_o treatise_n about_o image_n have_v say_v nothing_o in_o the_o whole_a that_o contradict_v the_o bishop_n in_o short_a we_o may_v take_v due_a honour_n and_o veneration_n in_o this_o sense_n or_o in_o that_o sense_n or_o in_o any_o sense_n wherein_o any_o of_o the_o child_n of_o the_o church_n understand_v it_o or_o if_o you_o please_v no_o sense_n whatsoever_o for_o you_o may_v suspend_v your_o judgement_n and_o if_o the_o vindicator_n be_v in_o the_o right_n that_o what_o he_o have_v say_v in_o this_o case_n be_v applicable_a to_o all_o other_o protestant_n without_o believe_v one_o doctrine_n of_o faith_n more_o than_o they_o do_v already_o may_v be_v say_v to_o have_v as_o much_o doctrinal_a popery_n as_o the_o member_n of_o the_o romish_a church_n itself_o i_o will_v have_v the_o vindicator_n think_v of_o these_o thing_n and_o before_o he_o send_v we_o again_o to_o the_o express_a word_n of_o his_o general_a council_n to_o consider_v how_o his_o friend_n have_v use_v the_o scripture_n and_o we_o for_o make_v they_o the_o rule_n of_o our_o faith._n we_o do_v not_o pretend_v to_o find_v in_o express_a word_n of_o their_o general_a council_n every_o thing_n which_o we_o call_v old_a popery_n but_o we_o find_v it_o in_o the_o profession_n of_o the_o prevail_a part_n even_o of_o the_o present_a roman_a church_n and_o in_o its_o oppress_v those_o that_o seem_v in_o good_a earnest_n to_o be_v of_o another_o mind_n and_o as_o we_o may_v without_o blame_n call_v that_o popery_n or_o the_o sense_n of_o their_o church_n which_o themselves_o call_v so_o so_o we_o can_v be_v reprove_v for_o say_v that_o their_o popery_n seem_v to_o be_v the_o true_a and_o genuine_a popery_n because_o it_o agree_v vast_o better_o with_o the_o express_a word_n of_o their_o council_n than_o the_o popery_n of_o our_o modern_a expositor_n and_o representer_n but_o yet_o for_o call_v this_o popery_n the_o vindicator_n call_v the_o defender_n a_o misrepresenter_n 7._o pag._n 6_o 7._o a_o misrepresenter_n and_o a_o calumniator_n too_o a_o misrepresenter_n a_o falsifier_n and_o a_o calumniator_n thus_o he_o lay_v about_o he_o without_o fear_n or_o wit_n and_o hurt_v himself_o more_o than_o his_o adversary_n for_o his_o bad_a language_n do_v furnish_v i_o with_o a_o proof_n that_o there_o be_v two_o popery_n among_o they_o which_o the_o dull_a apprehension_n will_v feel_v and_o the_o fine_a shall_v not_o be_v able_a to_o distinguish_v away_o to_o take_v the_o vindicator_n instance_n once_o more_o here_o in_o england_n i_o make_v bold_a to_o say_v that_o worship_v image_n and_o crucifix_n with_o the_o same_o worship_n that_o be_v due_a to_o the_o person_n represent_v be_v popery_n and_o for_o this_o by_o a_o authentic_a papist_n i_o be_o call_v a_o misrepresenter_n a_o falsifier_n and_o a_o calumniator_n too_o which_o be_v hard_a word_n and_o i_o will_v not_o willing_o deserve_v they_o i_o will_v therefore_o know_v what_o be_v the_o sincere_a popery_n in_o this_o case_n and_o i_o be_o tell_v that_o image_n be_v not_o proper_o to_o be_v worship_v but_o the_o person_n represent_v
