enough_o what_o law_n we_o mean_v namely_o certain_a popish_a cannon_n law_n which_o though_o the_o magistrate_n do_v tolerate_v for_o a_o time_n yet_o the_o common_a good_a law_n of_o the_o land_n be_v whole_o against_o they_o wherefore_o let_v he_o not_o deal_v double_o with_o we_o as_o have_v our_o true_a meaning_n in_o his_o heart_n to_o fumble_v out_o of_o his_o mouth_n or_o to_o shuffle_v up_o in_o his_o letter_n a_o contrary_a meaning_n we_o know_v that_o the_o law_n do_v punish_v all_o outward_a gross_a wickedness_n or_o suffer_v it_o to_o be_v punish_v as_o namely_o idolatry_n forswear_v usurp_a of_o lordship_n rebellion_n murder_n fleshly_a filthiness_n theft_n oppression_n railing_n grievous_a slander_n drunkenness_n etc._n etc._n and_o if_o there_o be_v any_o vice_n not_o punishable_a by_o the_o law_n yet_o the_o law_n do_v suffer_v either_o the_o church_n or_o every_o householder_n or_o governor_n to_o correct_v so_o it_o be_v not_o against_o law_n such_o as_o be_v under_o their_o charge_n so_o then_o the_o law_n be_v a_o wall_n to_o the_o church_n round_o about_o they_o stand_v up_o for_o it_o as_o a_o arm_a man_n that_o it_o may_v show_v itself_o open_o without_o shame_n or_o fear_n for_o when_o they_o put_v down_o all_o outward_a gross_a wickedness_n and_o will_v not_o suffer_v it_o they_o do_v as_o it_o be_v scatter_v and_o drive_v away_o darkness_n from_o the_o church_n that_o man_n may_v see_v it_o visible_a and_o clear_a as_o the_o sun_n likewise_o for_o the_o outward_a profession_n by_o the_o law_n master_n cartwright_n will_v play_v at_o handy_a dandie_n with_o we_o and_o yet_o not_o give_v we_o that_o hand_n which_o we_o do_v choose_v for_o there_o be_v a_o outward_a profession_n after_o the_o old_a popish_a tradition_n
