that_o he_o feel_v himself_o he_o know_v how_o to_o pity_v we_o in_o our_o sickness_n and_o loss_n and_o cross_n every_o way_n and_o for_o the_o chief_a the_o trouble_n of_o mind_n alas_o he_o know_v it_o in_o that_o great_a desertion_n when_o he_o cry_v out_o my_o god_n my_o god_n why_o have_v thou_o forsake_v i_o so_o we_o may_v comfort_v ourselves_o that_o we_o have_v a_o merciful_a and_o pitiful_a and_o gracious_a saviour_n god_n in_o the_o flesh_n he_o have_v take_v our_o flesh_n upon_o he_o for_o that_o purpose_n that_o he_o may_v have_v experimental_a knowledge_n of_o our_o infirmity_n and_o weakness_n and_o from_o that_o he_o may_v be_v the_o more_o sweet_a and_o kind_a and_o gentle_a to_o we_o he_o be_v not_o sick_a himself_o but_o by_o experience_n of_o labour_n and_o thirst_n and_o the_o like_a he_o know_v what_o it_o be_v to_o be_v sick_a by_o that_o he_o feel_v he_o know_v not_o what_o it_o be_v to_o sin_n and_o to_o be_v trouble_v for_o sin_n because_o he_o feel_v it_o not_o in_o himself_o but_o be_v our_o surety_n for_o sin_n and_o feel_v the_o wrath_n of_o god_n for_o it_o he_o have_v experience_n to_o be_v compassionate_a from_o this_o he_o be_v weary_a to_o pity_v those_o that_o be_v weary_a he_o be_v hungry_a to_o pity_v they_o that_o be_v hungry_a he_o be_v poor_a to_o pity_v those_o that_o be_v so_o he_o be_v misuse_v and_o reproach_v to_o pity_v those_o that_o be_v in_o the_o like_a condition_n you_o can_v name_v nothing_o but_o he_o can_v out_o of_o his_o own_o experience_n be_v merciful_a and_o pitiful_a unto_o come_v in_o that_o god_n the_o second_o person_n appear_v in_o our_o nature_n in_o our_o weak_a and_o taint_v disgrace_a nature_n after_o the_o fall_n from_o hence_o come_v first_o of_o all_o it_o the_o enrich_n angel_n it_o be_v a_o great_a exaltation_n to_o our_o nature_n that_o god_n shall_v take_v it_o into_o the_o unity_n of_o his_o person_n for_o the_o humane_a nature_n of_o christ_n have_v no_o subsistence_n but_o in_o the_o second_o person_n and_o this_o do_v not_o any_o way_n debase_v the_o humane_a nature_n of_o christ_n that_o it_o have_v no_o subsistence_n but_o in_o the_o godhead_n it_o hence_o come_v the_o enable_v of_o our_o nature_n to_o the_o work_n of_o salvation_n that_o be_v wrought_v in_o our_o nature_n it_o come_v from_o hence_o god_n be_v in_o the_o flesh_n from_o whence_o be_v the_o humane_a nature_n enable_v to_o suffer_v whence_o be_v it_o uphold_v in_o suffering_n that_o it_o do_v not_o sink_v under_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n god_n be_v in_o the_o flesh_n god_n uphold_v our_o nature_n so_o that_o both_o the_o riches_n and_o dignity_n and_o the_o ablenesse_n of_o our_o nature_n to_o be_v save_v and_o meritorious_a all_o come_v from_o this_o that_o god_n be_v in_o our_o nature_n and_o hence_o come_v this_o likewise_o it_o that_o whatsoever_o christ_n do_v in_o our_o nature_n god_n do_v it_o for_o god_n appear_v in_o our_o nature_n he_o take_v not_o we_o shall_v lose_v nothing_o but_o that_o that_o do_v we_o hurt_v that_o that_o we_o may_v well_o spare_v that_o that_o hinder_v our_o joy_n and_o comfort_n but_o affliction_n i_o say_v let_v we_o comfort_v ourselves_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o present_a state_n of_o the_o church_n christ_n rule_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o his_o enemy_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o cross_n and_o persecution_n not_o against_o the_o church_n of_o god_n and_o prosper_v no_o no_o it_o be_v with_o the_o church_n as_o it_o be_v with_o christ_n to_o have_v look_v on_o christ_n hang_v and_o bleed_v on_o the_o cross_n to_o have_v see_v he_o grovel_v on_o the_o ground_n in_o the_o garden_n man_n will_v be_v ready_a to_o take_v offence_n what_o he_o the_o saviour_n of_o the_o world_n but_o stay_v and_o see_v he_o lay_v one_o thing_n with_o another_o see_v the_o church_n in_o heaven_n with_o the_o head_n of_o the_o church_n see_v the_o church_n advance_v see_v it_o in_o glory_n ere_o long_o see_v it_o refine_v and_o fit_v by_o suffering_n to_o come_v better_a out_o of_o affliction_n than_o it_o go_v in_o and_o then_o none_o will_v take_v scandal_n at_o the_o affliction_n of_o the_o church_n as_o they_o ought_v not_o at_o the_o abasement_n of_o christ_n for_o though_o he_o be_v god_n manifest_v in_o weak_a flesh_n yet_o we_o see_v he_o ascend_v up_o in_o glory_n 30.7_o there_o be_v a_o comfortable_a
