act._n as_o to_o myself_o i_o think_v it_o to_o be_v relative_a and_o that_o there_o be_v no_o good_a pleasure_n of_o god_n towards_o man_n but_o by_o his_o son_n in_o who_o he_o be_v well_o please_v nor_o that_o any_o one_o be_v predestinate_v either_o before_o or_o without_o the_o direction_n and_o approbation_n of_o christ._n but_o as_o the_o scripture_n have_v it_o christ_n be_v first_o fore-known_a 1_o pet._n 1._o 2._o and_o then_o we_o in_o he_o rom._n 8._o 29_o christ_n be_v first_o predestinate_v rom._n 1._o 4._o and_o then_o we_o by_o he_o eph._n 1._o 5._o now_o we_o be_v not_o as_o some_o imagine_v in_o the_o first_o place_n elect_v and_o christ_n afterward_o and_o for_o our_o sake_n for_o it_o be_v impossible_a for_o we_o to_o be_v predestinate_v into_o the_o adoption_n of_o son_n but_o by_o a_o natural_a son_n neither_o can_v we_o be_v 〈◊〉_d to_o be_v â—formable_a to_o the_o image_n of_o his_o son_n as_o the_o scripture_n speak_v unless_o the_o son_n be_v first_o appoint_v to_o who_o image_n we_o be_v to_o be_v conform_v wherefore_o to_o this_o article_n likewise_o i_o will_v choose_v to_o add_v the_o good_a pleasure_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n and_o then_o in_o the_o second_o place_n it_o may_v be_v ask_v likewise_o whether_o this_o sole_n will_v and_o good_a pleasure_n include_v or_o exclude_v the_o foreknowledge_n of_o god_n i_o can_v by_o no_o mean_n think_v that_o these_o two_o thing_n viz._n to_o sore-know_a and_o to_o predestinate_v be_v to_o be_v separate_v but_o we_o shall_v rather_o as_o the_o aposty_n do_v join_v they_o together_o but_o in_o this_o neither_o dare_v i_o give_v my_o opinion_n rash_o or_o condemn_v the_o father_n who_o almost_o all_o do_v assert_v that_o we_o be_v both_o elect_v and_o predestinate_v according_a to_o a_o faith_n foresee_v which_o also_o beza_n himself_o confess_v say_v that_o the_o father_n be_v by_o no_o 2._o upon_o 〈◊〉_d of_o rom._n ver_fw-la 2_o edit_n 2._o mâ—ns_n in_o this_o matter_n to_o â—e_v regard_v who_o refer_v it_o all_o to_o a_o 〈◊〉_d in_o which_o notwithstanding_o i_o shall_v think_v that_o they_o speak_v rather_o concern_v the_o series_n and_o order_n that_o god_n make_v use_v of_o in_o the_o act_n of_o predestination_n than_o of_o the_o real_a cause_n of_o it_o which_o order_n some_o dispose_n one_o way_n and_o some_o another_o according_a to_o their_o different_a apprehension_n but_o the_o father_n seem_v to_o i_o to_o have_v think_v thus_o that_o there_o be_v no_o election_n but_o what_o be_v dispose_v in_o this_o follow_a manner_n 1._o that_o god_n love_v christ_n and_o then_o love_v we_o in_o christ_n as_o also_o the_o apostle_n say_v eph._n 1._o 6_o that_o god_n have_v accept_v we_o in_o the_o belove_a 2._o those_o that_o be_v thus_o accept_v he_o do_v endue_v with_o grace_n and_o faith_n 3._o those_o that_o be_v so_o endue_v and_o thereby_o distinguish_v from_o the_o rest_n he_o do_v elect_v and_o 4._o the_o elect_n he_o do_v predestinate_a most_o certain_o the_o
