and_o bone_n and_o so_o be_v make_v capable_a to_o be_v put_v to_o death_n by_o the_o seed_n and_o nature_n of_o reason_n which_o be_v the_o serpent_n or_o devil_n but_o i_o shall_v speak_v more_o understanding_n of_o the_o scripture_n and_o the_o cause_n why_o where_o be_v so_o much_o dissatisfaction_n in_o read_v the_o scripture_n by_o the_o professor_n now_o adays_o it_o be_v because_o they_o understand_v they_o not_o this_o i_o know_v by_o experience_n but_o as_o i_o say_v before_o as_o there_o be_v a_o twofold_a state_n in_o one_o god_n so_o likewise_o there_o be_v two_o lords-day_n as_o aforesaid_a yet_o but_o one_o god_n but_o the_o meaning_n of_o john_n when_o he_o say_v he_o be_v in_o the_o spirit_n on_o the_o lord_n day_n i_o declare_v his_o meaning_n be_v the_o day_n of_o christ_n resurrection_n and_o this_o he_o call_v the_o lordsday_n that_o be_v it_o be_v the_o day_n of_o god_n rise_v from_o death_n to_o life_n in_o that_o death_n be_v not_o able_a to_o keep_v he_o under_o for_o death_n do_v keep_v every_o creature_n under_o it_o neither_o can_v any_o creature_n nor_o son_n of_o god_n overcome_v death_n but_o god_n himself_o therefore_o christ_n this_o world_n will_v have_v have_v no_o end_n so_o that_o by_o this_o death_n of_o god_n he_o have_v conquer_v sin_n death_n and_o hell_n for_o the_o seed_n of_o adam_n that_o they_o shall_v have_v no_o power_n over_o they_o not_o as_o to_o keep_v they_o under_o eternal_a torment_n but_o on_o the_o contrary_a he_o have_v by_o his_o death_n overcome_v sin_n death_n and_o hell_n so_o as_o to_o of_o life_n and_o death_n but_o if_o he_o be_v not_o there_o in_o his_o own_o person_n yet_o his_o arm_n be_v set_v over_o every_o place_n of_o judicatory_a and_o the_o judge_n of_o that_o place_n do_v sit_v under_o the_o king_n arm_n represent_v the_o person_n of_o the_o king_n and_o so_o the_o judge_n fit_v in_o the_o king_n throne_n yet_o it_o may_v be_v say_v that_o the_o king_n throne_n be_v there_o also_o for_o the_o king_n throne_n be_v all_o over_o his_o dominion_n and_o kingdom_n though_o he_o himself_o be_v but_o in_o one_o particular_a place_n where_o his_o honour_n and_o glory_n and_o greatness_n may_v be_v most_o manifest_a and_o that_o place_n where_o his_o glory_n be_v most_o see_v and_o where_o he_o do_v usual_o sit_v in_o judgement_n i_o say_v that_o place_n may_v proper_o be_v call_v the_o king_n throne_n for_o if_o the_o king_n be_v not_o a_o person_n and_o have_v a_o kingdom_n how_o can_v he_o set_v up_o a_o throne_n in_o it_o and_o if_o there_o be_v a_o throne_n set_v up_o in_o a_o kingdom_n there_o must_v of_o necessity_n be_v a_o king_n to_o sit_v upon_o it_o and_o this_o king_n must_v be_v the_o person_n of_o a_o man_n else_o why_o shall_v messenger_n which_o he_o have_v send_v in_o this_o world_n even_o as_o a_o king_n have_v many_o judge_n and_o messenger_n in_o his_o earthly_a kingdom_n and_o the_o king_n have_v give_v they_o many_o throne_n to_o sit_v upon_o which_o be_v visible_o see_v by_o the_o eye_n of_o sense_n and_o reason_n so_o likewise_o the_o eye_n of_o faith_n do_v as_o perfect_o see_v god_n their_o king_n sit_v verse_n say_v i_o be_o alpha_n and_o omega_n the_o first_o and_o the_o last_o and_o what_o thou_o see_v write_v in_o a_o book_n and_o send_v it_o unto_o the_o seven_o church_n etc._n etc._n and_o in_o the_o 12._o verse_n john_n turn_v to_o see_v the_o voice_n that_o speak_v to_o he_o and_o be_v turn_v he_o see_v seven_o golden_a candlestick_n these_o seven_o golden_a candlestick_n be_v the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o in_o the_o 13._o verse_n and_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o the_o seven_o golden_a candlestick_n one_o like_a unto_o the_o son_n of_o man_n clothe_v with_o a_o garment_n down_o to_o the_o foot_n and_o gird_v about_o the_o waste_n with_o a_o golden_a girdle_n this_o great_a voice_n which_o john_n hear_v it_o be_v as_o the_o sound_n of_o a_o trumpet_n come_v from_o no_o other_o but_o from_o jesus_n christ_n the_o only_a god_n he_o be_v that_o alpha_n and_o omega_n the_o first_o and_o the_o last_o which_o bid_v john_n write_v in_o a_o be_v in_o the_o condition_n of_o the_o father_n and_o be_v to_o redeem_v his_o people_n from_o their_o sin_n but_o john_n speak_v of_o he_o as_o he_o be_v a_o son_n and_o that_o he_o have_v suffer_v death_n and_o redeem_v his_o people_n and_o so_o john_n call_v he_o the_o first_o and_o the_o last_o as_o he_o be_v a_o son_n and_o suffer_v death_n but_o be_v now_o alive_a for_o evermore_o amen_n yet_o all_o but_o one_o god_n even_o the_o the_o man_n christ_n jesus_n who_o be_v that_o alpha_n and_o omega_n the_o beginning_n and_o the_o end_n the_o first_o and_o the_o last_o he_o who_o be_v dead_a and_o be_v alive_a and_o behold_v he_o be_v alive_a for_o evermore_o and_o no_o other_o god_n have_v the_o key_n of_o hell_n and_o of_o death_n but_o christ_n only_o which_o he_o have_v the_o 19_o verse_n of_o this_o chapter_n john_n be_v command_v to_o write_v the_o thing_n which_o he_o have_v see_v and_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v and_o the_o thing_n which_o shall_v be_v hereafter_o to_o who_o he_o be_v to_o write_v it_o be_v to_o the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n and_o in_o the_o 20_o verse_n which_o be_v the_o last_o verse_n of_o this_o chapter_n he_o interpret_v what_o the_o seven_o star_n which_o he_o see_v in_o christ_n right_a right_a hand_n be_v and_o what_o the_o seven_o golden_a candlestcik_n be_v therefore_o i_o shall_v say_v no_o more_o of_o it_o here_o and_o as_o for_o what_o john_n do_v write_v to_o the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n it_o be_v set_v down_o in_o the_o two_o chapter_n follow_v those_o two_o chapter_n treat_v only_o upon_o the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n and_o the_o chief_a thing_n in_o those_o two_o chapter_n i_o have_v interpret_v already_o and_o the_o chief_a thing_n which_o be_v of_o most_o concernment_n in_o the_o first_o chapter_n i_o have_v also_o interpret_v therefore_o i_o shall_v go_v to_o the_o four_o chapter_n but_o i_o suppose_v it_o will_v be_v necessary_a to_o the_o reader_n for_o i_o to_o show_v what_o a_o resemblance_n and_o likeness_n there_o be_v between_o the_o seven_o church_n now_o in_o europe_n in_o these_o our_o day_n and_o the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n and_o how_o the_o angel_n of_o the_o seven_o church_n which_o be_v the_o minister_n or_o speaker_n do_v agree_v with_o the_o seven_o angel_n of_o the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n i_o have_v speak_v something_o of_o they_o in_o the_o interpretation_n of_o the_o 11_o of_o the_o revelation_n but_o i_o shall_v speak_v a_o little_a more_o of_o they_o here_o because_o it_o be_v something_o necessary_a to_o inform_v the_o reader_n therefore_o mind_n the_o distinction_n between_o the_o one_o and_o the_o other_o we_o read_v that_o the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n have_v seven_o several_a name_n as_o may_v be_v read_v and_o according_a to_o their_o good_a practice_n and_o their_o bad_a they_o be_v either_o reprove_v or_o commend_v as_o i_o have_v show_v before_o so_o likewise_o the_o minister_n of_o the_o seven_o church_n of_o europe_n may_v be_v call_v seven_o angel_n
nobility_n have_v crown_n of_o gold_n upon_o their_o headâ—_n though_o not_o so_o absolute_a crown_n of_o gold_n as_o the_o king_n himself_o yet_o they_o have_v a_o resemblance_n and_o likeness_n of_o crown_n signify_v that_o they_o be_v of_o the_o blood_n royal._n so_o be_v it_o in_o heaven_n the_o four_o and_o twenty_o elder_n be_v of_o the_o blood_n royal_a coheir_n unto_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n they_o have_v seat_n to_o sit_v upon_o round_a about_o the_o king_n throne_n and_o as_o for_o the_o four_o and_o twenty_o elder_n what_o they_o be_v i_o have_v open_v at_o large_a in_o the_o interpretation_n of_o the_o eleven_o of_o the_o revelation_n therefore_o i_o shall_v not_o speak_v of_o they_o here_o but_o as_o for_o their_o be_v clothe_v in_o white_a raiment_n the_o meaning_n of_o that_o be_v this_o they_o be_v clothe_v in_o their_o mind_n while_o they_o live_v in_o this_o world_n with_o the_o righteousness_n of_o faith_n which_o purify_v the_o â—eart_n and_o not_o by_o the_o righteousness_n of_o the_o law_n son_n by_o the_o deed_n of_o the_o law_n shall_v no_o flesh_n be_v justify_v but_o by_o the_o righteousness_n of_o faith_n be_v every_o true_a believer_n justify_v and_o these_o four_o and_o twenty_o elder_n be_v justify_v by_o faith_n in_o the_o blood_n of_o the_o lamb_n they_o may_v be_v say_v to_o be_v clothe_v in_o white_a raiment_n that_o be_v they_o be_v pure_a and_o white_a in_o their_o soul_n by_o be_v wash_v in_o the_o blood_n of_o the_o lamb_n by_o faith_n as_o aforesaid_a they_o have_v no_o guilt_n of_o sin_n upon_o they_o at_o all_o etc._n etc._n and_o in_o the_o 5_o verse_n it_o be_v say_v that_o there_o be_v seven_o lamp_n of_o fire_n burn_v before_o the_o throne_n which_o be_v the_o seven_o spirit_n of_o god_n the_o meaning_n of_o those_o seven_o lamp_n which_o burn_v before_o the_o throne_n i_o declare_v they_o be_v the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n that_o be_v the_o soul_n of_o the_o true_a believer_n which_o be_v of_o the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n be_v those_o seven_o lamp_n which_o burn_v before_o the_o throne_n and_o the_o seven_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v those_o several_a gift_n of_o grace_n which_o he_o give_v to_o the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o that_o grace_n of_o faith_n and_o love_n which_o god_n give_v to_o the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n it_o burn_v in_o the_o lamp_n of_o their_o soul_n before_o the_o throne_n of_o god_n to_o eternity_n for_o every_o soul_n be_v a_o lamp_n for_o the_o fire_n of_o god_n love_n to_o burn_v in_o if_o there_o be_v but_o oil_n in_o your_o lamp_n that_o be_v if_o there_o be_v but_o faith_n in_o the_o heart_n it_o will_v be_v a_o glorious_a place_n for_o the_o candle_n of_o the_o lord_n which_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n to_o burn_v in_o and_o happy_a will_v that_o man_n be_v that_o have_v his_o lamp_n burn_v before_o the_o throne_n of_o god_n as_o these_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n shall_v for_o this_o i_o will_v have_v the_o seed_n of_o faith_n to_o understand_v that_o john_n speak_v of_o thing_n to_o come_v as_o if_o they_o be_v in_o present_a be_v for_o vision_n and_o revelation_n speak_v of_o thing_n at_o a_o distance_n as_o if_o they_o be_v in_o present_a sight_n because_o god_n and_o faith_n know_v that_o time_n will_v be_v swallow_v up_o into_o eternity_n therefore_o it_o be_v that_o john_n do_v say_v in_o his_o vision_n that_o he_o see_v such_o and_o such_o thing_n already_o when_o as_o the_o thing_n which_o he_o speak_v that_o he_o see_v be_v not_o accomplish_v at_o that_o time_n nor_o many_o of_o they_o not_o as_o yet_o but_o however_o they_o will_v be_v accomplish_v because_o god_n be_v truth_n and_o will_v not_o frustrate_v the_o faith_n of_o his_o prophet_n apostle_n and_o saint_n but_o according_a to_o their_o faith_n it_o shall_v be_v unto_o they_o so_o much_o concern_v the_o seven_o lamp_n and_o the_o seven_o spirit_n of_o god_n i_o suppose_v the_o seed_n of_o faith_n may_v understand_v the_o true_a meaning_n of_o it_o chap._n ix_o in_o the_o six_o verse_n john_n say_v and_o before_o the_o throne_n there_o be_v a_o sea_n of_o glass_n like_o unto_o crystal_n and_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o the_o throne_n and_o round_o about_o the_o throne_n be_v four_o beast_n full_a of_o eye_n before_o and_o behind_o here_o you_o that_o have_v faith_n may_v see_v that_o there_o be_v in_o heaven_n above_o the_o star_n a_o crystal_n sea_n like_o unto_o glass_n or_o a_o sea_n of_o glass_n like_o unto_o crystal_n that_o be_v the_o glorious_a water_n or_o sea_n above_o the_o star_n be_v set_v forth_o by_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v most_o pure_a and_o most_o esteem_v of_o by_o the_o reason_n of_o man_n here_o in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o this_o world_n but_o as_o certain_a as_o there_o be_v a_o sea_n and_o water_n in_o this_o world_n else_o the_o creature_n therein_o can_v not_o live_v so_o likewise_o there_o be_v a_o sea_n and_o water_n above_o the_o star_n though_o of_o another_o nature_n differ_v from_o this_o here_o below_o yet_o they_o be_v real_a substance_n as_o these_o be_v but_o because_o mortal_a man_n can_v declare_v nor_o make_v know_v the_o nature_n and_o substance_n of_o they_o neither_o can_v mortal_a man_n understand_v it_o if_o it_o can_v be_v declare_v therefore_o the_o revelation_n of_o john_n call_v it_o a_o sea_n of_o glass_n like_o unto_o crystal_n because_o crystal_n be_v high_o esteem_v of_o by_o the_o reason_n of_o man_n but_o however_o it_o be_v for_o certain_a that_o there_o be_v a_o sea_n and_o water_n above_o the_o star_n let_v it_o be_v like_o what_o it_o will_n for_o this_o i_o will_v have_v the_o reader_n to_o understand_v that_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v be_v not_o make_v of_o thing_n which_o do_v appear_v according_a faith_n will_v call_v the_o water_n above_o the_o star_n a_o sea_n of_o glass_n like_o unto_o crystal_n who_o shall_v gainsay_v it_o neither_o be_v it_o to_o be_v look_v upon_o as_o a_o allegory_n as_o many_o do_v vain_o imagine_v but_o a_o real_a spiritual_a substance_n for_o this_o must_v be_v understand_v by_o the_o reader_n that_o god_n create_v or_o make_v all_o creature_n of_o something_o he_o have_v matter_n and_o substance_n to_o make_v every_o creature_n of_o he_o do_v not_o make_v live_v substance_n of_o a_o allegory_n that_o be_v as_o if_o we_o shall_v say_v god_n make_v all_o thing_n of_o nothing_o for_o a_o allegory_n be_v nothing_o and_o of_o nothing_o come_v nothing_o yet_o the_o vain_a imagination_n of_o wise_a and_o learned_a man_n have_v not_o be_v ashamed_a to_o say_v that_o god_n make_v this_o world_n of_o nothing_o but_o i_o shall_v let_v that_o pass_v again_o what_o shall_v be_v the_o meaning_n of_o the_o four_o beast_n full_a of_o eye_n before_o and_o judah_n as_o jacob_n do_v prophesy_v when_o he_o bless_v his_o son_n now_o i_o will_v have_v the_o reader_n to_o understand_v that_o all_o these_o four_o beast_n speak_v of_o here_o they_o be_v man_n though_o they_o be_v call_v by_o the_o revelation_n of_o john_n beast_n also_o he_o do_v distinguish_v they_o into_o four_o several_a form_n the_o first_o like_o a_o lion_n the_o second_o like_o a_o calf_n the_o three_o beast_n have_v a_o face_n like_o a_o man_n and_o the_o four_o beast_n be_v like_o a_o fly_a eagle_n these_o four_o beast_n as_o i_o say_v before_o be_v all_o man_n and_o not_o only_o so_o but_o good_a man_n only_o this_o i_o will_v have_v the_o reader_n to_o mind_n that_o they_o be_v call_v beast_n in_o relation_n to_o the_o work_n that_o they_o be_v to_o do_v and_o so_o they_o act_v after_o that_o manner_n as_o such_o beast_n use_v to_o do_v as_o the_o nature_n of_o a_o lion_n be_v to_o destroy_v and_o tear_v in_o piece_n and_o the_o nature_n of_o a_o calf_n be_v to_o act_v simple_o and_o foolish_o and_o yet_o innocent_a also_o now_o the_o three_o beast_n have_v a_o face_n like_o a_o man_n that_o be_v he_o act_v as_o a_o rational_a man_n by_o wisdom_n and_o policy_n and_o the_o four_o beast_n be_v like_o a_o fly_a eagle_n that_o be_v he_o act_v in_o swiftness_n and_o strength_n and_o according_a to_o other_o property_n that_o be_v in_o a_o eagle_n and_o so_o according_a to_o the_o nature_n and_o property_n of_o these_o four_o beast_n do_v man_n act_v and_o do_v act_n in_o this_o world_n therefore_o call_v four_o beast_n when_o as_o they_o be_v no_o other_o but_o man_n but_o i_o shall_v leave_v the_o distinction_n of_o the_o person_n of_o the_o other_o three_o to_o those_o that_o be_v better_o read_v in_o history_n than_o i_o be_o neither_o be_v it_o reveal_v unto_o i_o who_o the_o person_n be_v therefore_o i_o shall_v speak_v no_o more_o than_o be_v reveal_v unto_o i_o but_o the_o reader_n may_v understand_v what_o the_o four_o beast_n be_v by_o what_o be_v afore-written_a therefore_o i_o shall_v say_v no_o more_o of_o it_o but_o go_v unto_o the_o 8_o verse_n chap._n x._o in_o the_o eight_o verse_n it_o be_v say_v that_o the_o four_o beast_n have_v each_o of_o they_o six_o wing_n about_o they_o and_o they_o be_v full_a of_o eye_n within_o and_o they_o rest_v not_o day_n and_o night_n say_v holy_a holy_a holy_a lord_n god_n almighty_a which_o be_v and_o which_o be_v and_o which_o be_v to_o come_v the_o chief_a thing_n in_o this_o verse_n to_o be_v know_v be_v what_o be_v mean_v by_o those_o six_o wing_n which_o the_o four_o beast_n have_v which_o be_v full_a of_o eye_n within_o the_o meaning_n be_v this_o that_o each_o of_o these_o four_o beast_n have_v six_o wing_n that_o be_v they_o have_v six_o wing_n apiece_o and_o these_o six_o wing_n apiece_o it_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o revelation_n which_o give_v they_o wisdom_n to_o order_n and_o manage_v the_o affair_n of_o their_o battle_n and_o these_o six_o wing_n be_v employ_v thus_o two_o of_o they_o be_v to_o be_v employ_v before_o in_o the_o forefront_n of_o the_o battle_n and_o two_o of_o they_o be_v to_o be_v employ_v in_o the_o rear_n or_o hinder_v part_n of_o the_o army_n lest_o the_o enemy_n shall_v come_v upon_o the_o back_n of_o they_o and_o the_o other_o two_o wing_n be_v to_o be_v employ_v in_o the_o middle_n that_o in_o case_n their_o enemy_n shall_v put_v they_o to_o the_o worst_a both_o before_o and_o behind_o that_o they_o may_v fly_v away_o with_o those_o two_o wing_n in_o the_o midst_n and_o this_o be_v very_o good_a revelation_n and_o wisdom_n and_o call_v by_o the_o revelation_n of_o john_n six_o wing_n for_o the_o scripture_n do_v call_v revelation_n and_o good_a counsel_n wing_n as_o that_o say_v revel_v 12._o verse_n 14._o it_o be_v say_v there_o be_v give_v unto_o the_o woman_n two_o wing_n of_o a_o great_a eagle_n that_o she_o may_v flee_v into_o the_o wilderness_n which_o wing_n be_v no_o other_o but_o revelation_n as_o i_o have_v open_v in_o the_o interpretation_n of_o the_o eleven_o of_o the_o revelation_n and_o where_o we_o find_v in_o the_o scripture_n that_o god_n have_v command_v his_o prophet_n and_o apostle_n to_o fly_v from_o one_o place_n to_o another_o in_o case_n of_o persecution_n it_o be_v not_o mean_v that_o god_n will_v give_v they_o wing_n to_o fly_v but_o he_o will_v give_v they_o wisdom_n and_o revelation_n to_o get_v from_o it_o and_o in_o this_o sense_n they_o may_v be_v say_v to_o have_v wing_n to_o fly_v away_o and_o in_o this_o sense_n the_o four_o beast_n aforesaid_a may_v be_v say_v to_o have_v each_o of_o they_o six_o wing_n and_o as_o for_o their_o be_v full_a of_o eye_n within_o that_o be_v they_o have_v a_o spirit_n of_o discern_v both_o of_o spiritual_a and_o of_o temporal_a thing_n therefore_o it_o be_v say_v that_o these_o four_o beast_n full_a of_o eye_n before_o and_o behind_o that_o be_v they_o have_v the_o eye_n of_o faith_n before_o and_o the_o eye_n of_o reason_n behind_o that_o be_v they_o do_v discern_v by_o the_o eye_n of_o faith_n before_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n and_o how_o he_o become_v flesh_n and_o shed_v his_o blood_n as_o afterward_o be_v express_v by_o these_o four_o beast_n and_o the_o eye_n of_o reason_n be_v behind_o it_o do_v discern_v and_o see_v how_o the_o matter_n go_v in_o this_o world_n for_o though_o it_o be_v say_v they_o be_v full_a of_o eye_n yet_o they_o have_v but_o two_o eye_n apiece_o that_o be_v the_o eye_n of_o faith_n and_o the_o eye_n of_o reason_n but_o neither_o of_o these_o two_o eye_n do_v offend_v they_o as_o it_o do_v many_o thousand_o now_o adays_o and_o because_o the_o seed_n of_o faith_n may_v not_o stumble_v at_o this_o interpretation_n because_o i_o say_v there_o be_v but_o two_o eye_n when_o as_o john_n say_v they_o be_v full_a of_o eye_n you_o may_v remember_v that_o i_o have_v write_v before_o concern_v the_o seven_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o yet_o but_o one_o spirit_n only_o that_o one_o spirit_n have_v seven_o several_a working_n in_o the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n so_o likewise_o these_o beast_n have_v but_o two_o eye_n yet_o they_o be_v full_a of_o discern_v both_o of_o spiritual_a and_o temporal_a matter_n for_o the_o eye_n of_o faith_n do_v see_v up_o into_o heaven_n and_o the_o glory_n thereof_o and_o the_o eye_n of_o reason_n do_v see_v the_o utmost_a part_n of_o this_o world_n here_o below_o for_o these_o two_o eye_n do_v see_v as_o much_o as_o can_v be_v see_v if_o they_o have_v have_v forty_o eye_n they_o can_v have_v see_v no_o more_o but_o in_o regard_n they_o do_v see_v so_o much_o they_o be_v say_v by_o the_o revelation_n of_o the_o spirit_n that_o they_o be_v full_a of_o eye_n before_o and_o behind_o etc._n etc._n again_o it_o be_v say_v that_o these_o four_o beast_n rest_v not_o day_n and_o night_n say_v holy_a holy_a holy_a lord_n god_n almighty_a which_o be_v and_o be_v and_o be_v to_o come_v that_o be_v they_o cease_v not_o to_o give_v glory_n honour_n and_o thanks_o to_o he_o that_o sit_v on_o the_o throne_n who_o live_v for_o ever_o and_o ever_o i_o will_v have_v the_o seed_n of_o faith_n to_o observe_v that_o these_o four_o beast_n give_v glory_n and_o honour_n unto_o christ_n here_o as_o he_o be_v god_n the_o father_n as_o isaiah_n the_o 6_o and_o 3_o where_o it_o be_v say_v and_o one_o cry_v one_o to_o
case_n as_o aforesaid_a will_v speak_v no_o better_a thing_n than_o the_o blood_n of_o abel_n but_o the_o very_a same_o thing_n will_v cry_v aloud_o for_o vengeance_n as_o the_o blood_n of_o abel_n and_o as_o their_o blood_n do_v that_o be_v slay_v under_o the_o altar_n as_o john_n see_v in_o his_o vision_n therefore_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n be_v say_v to_o speak_v better_a thing_n than_o the_o blood_n of_o abel_n but_o this_o i_o must_v tell_v you_o it_o speak_v better_a thing_n to_o those_o that_o have_v faith_n in_o his_o death_n and_o so_o be_v wash_v by_o faith_n in_o his_o blood_n to_o those_o it_o speak_v peace_n joy_n life_n and_o salvation_n to_o the_o soul_n and_o these_o be_v better_a thing_n than_o the_o blood_n of_o abel_n or_o the_o blood_n of_o the_o saint_n which_o speak_v to_o the_o soul_n fear_n horror_n death_n and_o eternal_a damnation_n these_o be_v the_o thing_n that_o the_o blood_n of_o abel_n and_o all_o innocent_a blood_n do_v speak_v and_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n will_v speak_v the_o same_o thing_n as_o abel_n blood_n do_v to_o those_o that_o persecute_a and_o put_v he_o to_o death_n at_o that_o time_n so_o that_o according_a to_o the_o serpent_n desire_n his_o blood_n will_v be_v upon_o they_o and_o their_o child_n for_o the_o serpent_n child_n be_v those_o that_o walk_v in_o the_o step_n of_o their_o father_n and_o as_o they_o that_o put_v he_o to_o death_n be_v the_o seed_n of_o cain_n their_o father_n as_o christ_n say_v to_o those_o jew_n that_o seek_v his_o life_n he_o say_v unto_o they_o you_o be_v of_o your_o father_n the_o devil_n and_o his_o work_n you_o do_v for_o he_o be_v a_o murderer_n and_o a_o liar_n from_o the_o beginning_n and_o who_o be_v he_o that_o do_v the_o first_o murder_n be_v it_o not_o cain_n and_o they_o be_v his_o child_n and_o all_o persecute_v man_n since_o have_v be_v their_o child_n and_o in_o persecute_v the_o innocent_a saint_n they_o justify_v the_o deed_n of_o their_o father_n that_o persecute_a christ_n and_o their_o persecute_v of_o christ_n in_o so_o do_v they_o justify_v the_o deed_n of_o the_o devil_n their_o father_n that_o slay_v the_o prophet_n and_o cain_n that_o slay_v abel_n the_o grandfather_n of_o all_o persecute_v devil_n for_o worship_v of_o god_n contrary_a to_o the_o tradition_n of_o their_o father_n so_o that_o the_o blood_n of_o righteous_a abel_n the_o blood_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o blood_n of_o the_o saint_n will_v be_v upon_o the_o conscience_n of_o the_o persecute_v seed_n of_o the_o serpent_n and_o upon_o their_o child_n who_o walk_v in_o the_o step_n of_o their_o grandfather_n cain_n and_o this_o have_v and_o will_v be_v fulfil_v upon_o all_o the_o child_n of_o those_o persecute_v jew_n which_o put_v christ_n to_o death_n so_o that_o his_o blood_n will_v be_v upon_o they_o and_o their_o child_n for_o these_o be_v their_o child_n and_o may_v be_v call_v so_o who_o be_v the_o seed_n of_o the_o serpent_n who_o walk_v in_o the_o way_n of_o their_o father_n who_o do_v kill_v the_o lord_n of_o life_n and_o so_o his_o blood_n will_v be_v upon_o they_o and_o their_o child_n as_o they_o do_v desire_v so_o that_o his_o blood_n do_v cry_v as_o the_o blood_n of_o abel_n do_v for_o eternal_a vengeance_n for_o none_o will_v shed_v blood_n upon_o that_o account_n but_o the_o serpent_n or_o devil_n and_o those_o that_o be_v his_o child_n so_o that_o you_o who_o understanding_n be_v enlighten_v may_v see_v that_o there_o be_v a_o virtue_n and_o power_n in_o the_o blood_n of_o prophet_n apostle_n and_o righteous_a man_n which_o be_v saint_n who_o suffer_v for_o the_o true_a declaration_n and_o worship_n of_o god_n to_o cry_v unto_o the_o lord_n for_o vengeance_n upon_o those_o that_o shed_v their_o blood_n and_o the_o lord_n will_v hear_v the_o cry_n of_o blood_n more_o than_o he_o will_v the_o cry_n of_o the_o saint_n before_o his_o blood_n be_v shed_v for_o the_o very_a deed_n of_o murder_n for_o religion_n sake_n have_v the_o reward_n of_o vengeance_n in_o it_o so_o that_o god_n the_o rightous_a judge_n must_v needs_o do_v right_a to_o reward_v every_o one_o according_a to_o his_o work_n so_o that_o the_o suffering_n of_o persecution_n and_o death_n for_o truth_n sake_n as_o these_o saint_n do_v as_o john_n speak_v of_o shall_v have_v a_o bless_a reward_n as_o be_v say_v in_o the_o 11_o verse_n those_o that_o be_v slay_v under_o the_o altar_n for_o the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o the_o testimony_n they_o hold_v they_o have_v white_a robe_n give_v unto_o every_o one_o of_o they_o and_o it_o be_v say_v to_o they_o rest_v yet_o for_o a_o little_a season_n until_o their_o fellow_n servant_n also_o and_o their_o brethren_n that_o shall_v be_v kill_v as_o they_o be_v shall_v be_v fulfil_v so_o that_o you_o the_o seed_n of_o faith_n may_v know_v that_o these_o soul_n that_o be_v slay_v under_o the_o altar_n be_v not_o yet_o in_o heaven_n neither_o be_v those_o white_a robe_n yet_o put_v upon_o they_o notwithstanding_o it_o be_v say_v there_o be_v white_a robe_n give_v they_o for_o sure_o if_o those_o soul_n have_v be_v in_o the_o heaven_n of_o glory_n with_o their_o white_a robe_n of_o the_o righteousness_n of_o faith_n upon_o they_o god_n will_v never_o have_v bid_v they_o rest_v a_o little_a season_n until_o their_o fellow_n servant_n and_o brethren_n be_v kill_v as_o they_o be_v so_o that_o it_o may_v be_v clear_a to_o you_o that_o have_v faith_n in_o the_o death_n of_o the_o soul_n and_o of_o a_o resurrection_n that_o there_o be_v no_o soul_n go_v to_o heaven_n without_o body_n so_o that_o soul_n can_v go_v to_o heaven_n and_o put_v on_o white_a robe_n to_o stand_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n without_o body_n so_o that_o these_o soul_n which_o cry_v for_o vengeance_n must_o still_o in_o the_o earth_n and_o rest_n a_o season_n until_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o seed_n of_o faith_n have_v pass_v from_o death_n as_o you_o have_v so_o that_o god_n may_v raise_v you_o all_o together_o and_o clothe_v you_o all_o with_o white_a robe_n of_o righteousness_n and_o immortality_n and_o glory_n at_o the_o resurrection_n at_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n so_o that_o you_o may_v all_o be_v reward_v and_o clothe_v with_o white_a robe_n together_o and_o not_o some_o serve_v this_o year_n and_o other_o some_o the_o next_o but_o you_o shall_v all_o be_v happy_a together_o so_o that_o you_o must_v rest_v yet_o a_o little_a season_n until_o all_o thing_n be_v accomplish_v and_o then_o i_o will_v bless_v you_o with_o a_o everlasting_a crown_n of_o life_n because_o you_o suffer_v death_n for_o my_o name_n in_o witness_v to_o i_o and_o i_o will_v avenge_v your_o blood_n upon_o i_o and_o your_o enemy_n that_o persecute_v and_o put_v i_o and_o you_o to_o death_n they_o shall_v have_v their_o reward_n also_o which_o reward_n of_o their_o deed_n will_v amount_v to_o no_o less_o than_o to_o eternal_a damnation_n where_o the_o black_a and_o dark_a fire_n of_o hell_n shall_v burn_v in_o their_o soul_n to_o eternity_n which_o shall_v cause_v they_o to_o cry_v oh_o the_o eternity_n the_o eternity_n with_o sorrow_n pain_n and_o shame_n and_o when_o you_o saint_n shall_v receive_v your_o eternal_a joy_n then_o shall_v your_o enemy_n receive_v their_o eternal_a sorrow_n which_o be_v not_o yet_o neither_o will_v it_o be_v until_o all_o thing_n be_v fulfil_v which_o the_o scripture_n have_v foretell_v of_o which_o can_v be_v long_o as_o man_n do_v vain_o imagine_v because_o the_o true_a witness_n of_o the_o spirit_n be_v now_o extant_a in_o the_o world_n who_o have_v declare_v and_o make_v manifest_v the_o mystery_n of_o the_o true_a god_n become_v flesh_n and_o what_o the_o right_a devil_n be_v with_o many_o other_o heavenly_a mystery_n so_o that_o you_o that_o have_v faith_n in_o this_o commission_n of_o the_o spirit_n shall_v at_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n receive_v with_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o saint_n white_a robe_n with_o they_o and_o you_o will_v not_o think_v it_o long_o for_o faith_n do_v look_v upon_o eternity_n as_o real_a as_o if_o it_o be_v in_o present_a be_v so_o that_o john_n may_v say_v by_o h_z s_z revelation_n in_o his_o vision_n that_o he_o see_v under_o the_o altar_n the_o soul_n of_o they_o that_o be_v slay_v for_o the_o word_n of_o god_n etc._n etc._n and_o the_o white_a robe_n that_o be_v give_v unto_o they_o because_o he_o by_o faith_n know_v that_o god_n will_v give_v those_o that_o be_v clothe_v with_o the_o white_a robe_n of_o the_o righteousness_n of_o faith_n a_o crown_n of_o everlasting_a joy_n and_o glory_n at_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n which_o be_v as_o sure_a as_o if_o it_o be_v in_o present_a be_v therefore_o by_o
reason_n the_o root_n which_o do_v send_v forth_o refresh_v thought_n motion_n and_o action_n many_o time_n the_o seed_n of_o reason_n do_v this_o which_o be_v as_o a_o river_n of_o water_n to_o refresh_v the_o soul_n of_o man_n but_o when_o evil_a thought_n motion_n and_o action_n do_v arise_v out_o of_o the_o heart_n it_o cause_v fear_v wrath_n and_o torment_v of_o soul_n both_o of_o the_o punishment_n of_o the_o law_n here_o in_o this_o life_n and_o the_o punishment_n of_o eternal_a damnation_n hereafter_o so_o that_o the_o river_n and_o fountain_n of_o water_n that_o do_v flow_v out_o of_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n and_o woman_n they_o be_v turn_v into_o blood_n that_o be_v as_o i_o say_v before_o the_o motion_n thought_n and_o action_n which_o do_v arise_v out_o of_o the_o heart_n that_o yield_v peace_n to_o the_o mind_n they_o be_v as_o water_v to_o refresh_v the_o heart_n of_o man_n even_o as_o water_n do_v quench_v the_o thirst_n of_o nature_n both_o of_o man_n and_o beast_n but_o when_o these_o water_n of_o the_o soul_n be_v turn_v to_o blood_n there_o be_v nothing_o but_o thought_n of_o fear_n motion_n of_o wrath_n and_o fear_v of_o eternal_a death_n so_o that_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n be_v loath_a or_o do_v loath_a to_o drink_v of_o those_o thought_n motion_n and_o action_n which_o be_v turn_v to_o blood_n that_o be_v to_o wrath_n and_o fear_v of_o eternal_a damnation_n but_o drink_v they_o must_v of_o the_o wine_n of_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n for_o they_o have_v make_v the_o saint_n to_o drink_v of_o the_o wine_n and_o wrath_n of_o their_o persecution_n for_o not_o worship_v the_o beast_n nor_o his_o image_n nor_o receive_v his_o mark_n though_o i_o speak_v of_o all_o man_n and_o woman_n in_o general_a because_o all_o people_n have_v a_o river_n of_o water_n in_o their_o heart_n but_o all_o river_n be_v not_o turn_v to_o blood_n but_o the_o meaning_n be_v all_o those_o people_n who_o worship_n the_o beast_n &_o his_o image_n who_o receive_v the_o mark_n of_o his_o name_n or_o the_o number_n of_o his_o name_n these_o thing_n include_v both_o the_o beast_n and_o all_o false_a worship_n and_o false_a worshipper_n since_o christ_n give_v the_o commission_n of_o the_o gospel_n to_o his_o apostle_n and_o as_o moses_n pour_v out_o that_o plague_n of_o turn_v the_o natural_a river_n and_o fountain_n of_o water_n of_o egypt_n to_o blood_n at_o the_o first_o come_v into_o his_o commission_n of_o the_o law_n so_o likewise_o will_v christ_n pour_v out_o his_o vial_n of_o wrath_n upon_o the_o spirit_n of_o man_n and_o woman_n and_o turn_v the_o water_n of_o their_o soul_n to_o blood_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o this_o will_v be_v execute_v at_o the_o latter_a end_n of_o the_o world_n which_o end_n will_v be_v as_o certain_a as_o the_o turn_v the_o water_n of_o idolatrous_a man_n and_o woman_n soul_n to_o blood_n for_o this_o the_o reader_n be_v to_o mind_n that_o there_o be_v motion_n that_o do_v run_v in_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n as_o the_o water_n do_v in_o a_o river_n or_o spring_n and_o these_o motion_n do_v cool_v or_o satisfy_v the_o soul_n of_o man_n as_o water_n do_v when_o man_n be_v athirst_a as_o the_o rich_a man_n
