somewhat_o liable_a to_o this_o abuse_n we_o can_v devise_v how_o to_o increase_v the_o danger_n and_o quite_o enthral_v these_o miserable_a soul_n more_o certain_o then_o by_o multiply_v unnecessary_a formalitye_n and_o place_v religion_n and_o unity_n in_o they_o for_o they_o that_o be_v most_o ignorant_a and_o empty_a of_o the_o love_n and_o fear_n of_o god_n and_o the_o bitter_a enemy_n to_o a_o heavenly_a life_n will_v present_o set_v in_o with_o these_o formality_n and_o make_v themselves_o a_o religion_n of_o these_o and_o then_o they_o will_v take_v themselves_o as_o godly_a as_o the_o best_a you_o shall_v never_o make_v they_o believe_v that_o they_o be_v ungodly_a they_o think_v the_o difference_n lie_v but_o in_o the_o way_n and_o manner_n of_o serve_v god_n you_o serve_v he_o one_o way_n and_o they_o another_o but_o yet_o they_o serve_v he_o as_o well_o as_o you_o yea_o they_o will_v overdo_v in_o these_o indifferent_a thing_n that_o they_o may_v make_v up_o that_o which_o be_v want_v in_o true_a godliness_n and_o then_o they_o will_v think_v that_o they_o be_v better_a and_o right_a than_o you_o thus_o do_v the_o heathen_n cry_v out_o against_o the_o ancient_a christian_n with_o a_o tollite_fw-la impios_fw-la away_o with_o the_o ungodly_a and_o kill_v they_o and_o cast_v they_o to_o wild_a beast_n to_o be_v tear_v by_o they_o because_o they_o will_v not_o worship_v their_o idol_n and_o so_o many_o ungodly_a wretch_n now_o that_o will_v not_o be_v persuade_v to_o a_o holy_a life_n will_v yet_o cry_v thou_fw-mi other_o as_o impious_a because_o they_o observe_v not_o all_o the_o ceremony_n which_o they_o observe_v when_o we_o have_v use_v all_o the_o mean_n we_o can_v to_o bring_v they_o to_o the_o study_n of_o the_o scripture_n and_o to_o meditate_v in_o the_o law_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o to_o holy_a conference_n and_o servant_n prayer_n to_o hatred_n of_o sin_n the_o contempt_n of_o the_o world_n the_o mortify_n of_o the_o flesh_n to_o the_o love_n of_o god_n above_o all_o to_o a_o thankful_a admiration_n of_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o great_a mystery_n of_o redemption_n to_o the_o believe_v delightful_a forethought_n of_o everlasting_a life_n and_o preparation_n for_o it_o etc._n etc._n i_o say_v when_o we_o have_v do_v all_o to_o bring_v they_o to_o this_o which_o be_v godliness_n indeed_o we_o lose_v our_o labour_n and_o leave_v they_o as_o we_o find_v they_o they_o can_v away_o with_o so_o precise_a a_o life_n but_o yet_o a_o religion_n they_o will_v have_v instead_o of_o it_o to_o deceive_v their_o soul_n and_o quiet_v they_o in_o the_o way_n to_o hell_n for_o instance_n i_o must_v speak_v it_o with_o grief_n of_o heart_n that_o i_o meet_v with_o no_o small_a number_n among_o we_o that_o know_v not_o who_o christ_n be_v some_o say_v he_o be_v god_n and_o not_o man_n some_o say_v he_o be_v man_n and_o not_o god_n some_o say_v he_o be_v make_v both_o god_n and_o man_n at_o once_o some_o say_v he_o be_v neither_o god_n nor_o man_n but_o a_o spirit_n some_o say_v he_o be_v not_o god_n but_o the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o have_v the_o power_n of_o god_n give_v he_o abundance_n say_v that_o he_o be_v god_n only_o and_o not_o man_n now_o he_o be_v in_o heaven_n though_o he_o be_v both_o on_o earth_n and_o very_o many_o know_v not_o what_o christianity_n be_v nor_o wherein_o the_o christian_a religion_n do_v consist_v and_o yet_o all_o these_o person_n that_o be_v heathen_n rather_o than_o christian_n be_v the_o most_o zealous_a keeper_n of_o christmas_n as_o
