resurrection_n a_o life_n not_o subject_a to_o death_n a_o spiritual_a life_n not_o need_v any_o create_a support_n whatsoever_o you_o see_v the_o ground_n the_o inference_n from_o these_o ground_n follow_v in_o these_o word_n that_o he_o may_v be_v lord_n both_o of_o the_o dead_a and_o of_o the_o live_n the_o ground_n have_v three_o branch_n death_n resurrection_n and_o revive_v how_o all_o these_o do_v flow_v and_o give_v strength_n to_o this_o inference_n i_o will_v touch_v in_o the_o particular_n first_o than_o christ_n die_v that_o he_o may_v be_v lord_n of_o the_o dead_a and_o of_o because_o till_o all_o enemy_n be_v full_o subdue_v by_o his_o death_n and_o witness_v to_o be_v subdue_v by_o his_o resurrection_n the_o spirit_n can_v not_o be_v so_o full_o give_v the_o spirit_n son_n again_o that_o he_o be_v full_o satisfy_v then_o the_o spirit_n come_v as_o the_o son_n of_o god_n favour_n which_o spirit_n do_v enable_v we_o to_o be_v subject_a to_o christ_n and_o make_v we_o come_v under_o christ_n kingdom_n which_o be_v a_o spiritual_a government_n wherefore_o because_o he_o obtain_v the_o spirit_n for_o his_o member_n upon_o his_o resurrection_n thereupon_o be_v the_o inference_n good_a he_o rise_v again_o therefore_o he_o be_v lord_n of_o the_o quick_a and_o of_o the_o dead_a three_o he_o revive_v therefore_o he_o be_v lord_n of_o the_o quick_a and_o of_o satisfy_v and_o raisethemselve_n to_o their_o own_o pitch_n a_o disposition_n curse_a and_o opposite_a to_o that_o religion_n which_o they_o profess_v for_o our_o life_n shall_v be_v a_o live_n to_o christ_n and_o under_o christ_n a_o live_n to_o the_o church_n and_o state_n but_o say_v they_o let_v we_o break_v their_o bond_n and_o cast_v their_o coard_n from_o we_o what_o do_v they_o think_v we_o will_v be_v awe_v with_o a_o company_n of_o poor_a preacher_n away_o with_o they_o we_o will_v have_v our_o will_n let_v we_o break_v their_o bond_n in_o sunder_o christ_n sit_v in_o heaven_n and_o laugh_v they_o all_o to_o scorn_v psal._n 2._o they_o shall_v know_v at_o length_n he_o will_v be_v no_o saviour_n where_o he_o be_v no_o lord_n if_o he_o may_v not_o rule_v they_o by_o his_o as_o a_o lord_n they_o rend_v his_o office_n i_o do_v but_o touch_v these_o now_o we_o see_v what_o it_o be_v to_o live_v to_o christ_n let_v we_o see_v what_o be_v it_o to_o die_v to_o the_o lord_n to_o die_v to_o the_o lord_n be_v to_o know_v and_o acknowledge_v that_o christ_n have_v power_n over_o we_o when_o we_o die_v thereupon_o to_o submit_v ourselves_o to_o he_o and_o not_o to_o murmur_v and_o fret_v when_o he_o come_v to_o call_v for_o our_o life_n and_o soul_n as_o if_o we_o be_v unwilling_a to_o part_v with_o they_o then_o again_o to_o die_v to_o christ_n be_v when_o upon_o any_o good_a occasion_n he_o call_v for_o our_o life_n in_o stand_v for_o a_o good_a cause_n for_o the_o church_n or_o state_n to_o be_v ready_a to_o lay_v it_o down_o there_o be_v not_o the_o least_o tittle_n of_o truth_n but_o it_o be_v better_a than_o a_o man_n life_n a_o man_n may_v not_o only_o die_v in_o case_n of_o martyrdom_n but_o in_o case_n of_o justice_n and_o truth_n and_o so_o he_o must_v be_v willing_a to_o do_v if_o he_o will_v die_v to_o christ._n again_o we_o die_v to_o the_o lord_n when_o we_o carry_v ourselves_o so_o when_o death_n come_v as_o we_o may_v express_v some_o grace_n to_o glorify_v god_n even_o in_o our_o very_a death_n when_o we_o study_v to_o do_v all_o the_o good_a we_o can_v that_o we_o may_v die_v fruitful_o out_o of_o this_o consideration_n my_o time_n be_v short_a i_o will_v labour_v to_o be_v sow_v to_o the_o spirit_n as_o much_o as_o i_o can_v not_o to_o die_v like_o fool_n but_o wise_o know_v that_o there_o be_v no_o further_a opportunity_n here_o be_v the_o time_n of_o seed_n hereafter_o will_v be_v the_o time_n of_o reap_v therefore_o there_o be_v no_o christian_a that_o be_v master_n of_o himself_o at_o the_o hour_n of_o death_n if_o some_o disease_n disable_v he_o not_o but_o he_o study_n how_o to_o show_v himself_o as_o fruitful_a as_o he_o can_v at_o that_o time_n as_o you_o see_v our_o saviour_n when_o he_o be_v to_o die_v what_o long_a chapter_n there_o be_v three_o together_o of_o his_o demeanour_n how_o he_o strengthen_v his_o disciple_n what_o a_o excellent_a prayer_n he_o make_v to_o god_n see_v moses_n how_o he_o carry_v himself_o at_o his_o death_n what_o excellent_a admonition_n he_o give_v and_o good_a jacob_n what_o a_o excellent_a will_v he_o make_v and_o s._n peter_n know_v he_o must_v put_v of_o his_o earthly_a tabernacle_n he_o labour_v to_o put_v they_o in_o mind_n to_o glorify_v god_n as_o saint_n paul_n say_v a_o christian_n ought_v to_o end_v his_o day_n in_o faith_n and_o obedience_n in_o faith_n that_o god_n will_v take_v his_o soul_n when_o he_o commit_v it_o to_o he_o and_o he_o shall_v reign_v for_o ever_o in_o heaven_n in_o obedience_n thereupon_o because_o he_o live_n as_o mediator_n god-man_n not_o as_o god_n but_o as_o god_n man_n god_n in_o our_o nature_n and_o hereupon_o we_o have_v diverse_a sweet_a comfort_n as_o for_o example_n first_o of_o all_o it_o show_v what_o we_o may_v expect_v from_o christ_n what_o christ_n will_v do_v to_o we_o and_o what_o we_o ought_v to_o return_v to_o he_o again_o for_o relation_n be_v bond_n especial_o when_o they_o expect_v on_o his_o part_n all_o that_o a_o gracious_a lord_n shall_v do_v to_o provide_v for_o his_o church_n and_o child_n we_o may_v expect_v that_o from_o he_o that_o we_o can_v from_o none_o else_o that_o he_o shall_v not_o only_o be_v lord_n over_o we_o but_o that_o he_o shall_v make_v we_o subject_a that_o he_o shall_v flow_v in_o to_o we_o by_o his_o holy_a spirit_n for_o here_o be_v
