elder_n which_o be_v among_o you_o i_o exhort_v who_o be_o also_o a_o elder_a and_o a_o witness_n of_o the_o suffering_n of_o christ_n he_o join_v himself_o with_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o apostle_n and_o say_v the_o commandment_n of_o we_o the_o apostle_n and_o assert_n no_o authority_n of_o he_o above_o they_o 2_o pet._n 3.2_o that_o you_o may_v be_v mindful_a of_o the_o word_n which_o be_v shall_v receive_v a_o crown_n of_o glory_n that_o fade_v not_o away_o such_o be_v his_o carriage_n and_o demeanour_n and_o there_o be_v no_o appearance_n of_o any_o superiority_n
the_o come_n of_o the_o lord_n shall_v not_o prevent_v they_o which_o be_v asleep_a for_o the_o lord_n himself_o shall_v descend_v from_o heaven_n with_o a_o shout_n with_o the_o voice_n of_o the_o archangel_n and_o with_o the_o trump_n of_o god_n and_o the_o dead_a in_o christ_n shall_v rise_v first_o then_o we_o which_o be_v alive_a and_o remain_v shall_v be_v catch_v up_o together_o with_o they_o in_o the_o cloud_n to_o meet_v the_o lord_n in_o the_o air_n and_o so_o shall_v we_o ever_o be_v with_o the_o lord_n the_o last_o generation_n of_o man_n shall_v be_v change_v and_o so_o go_v straight_o away_o to_o meet_v the_o lord_n and_o to_o judgement_n and_o the_o righteous_a of_o they_o be_v then_o to_o abide_v with_o the_o lord_n for_o ever_o and_o they_o go_v not_o to_o any_o romish_a purgatory_n and_o they_o prove_v to_o we_o that_o there_o be_v no_o necessity_n of_o any_o such_o place_n and_o that_o in_o truth_n and_o reality_n there_o be_v no_o such_o place_n at_o all_o 3._o we_o may_v see_v that_o it_o be_v not_o our_o duty_n to_o pray_v for_o the_o dead_a and_o that_o our_o prayer_n in_o such_o case_n be_v like_a to_o avail_v nothing_o and_o therefore_o that_o prayer_n and_o mass_n and_o absolution_n for_o the_o dead_a be_v altogether_o vain_a we_o have_v no_o example_n in_o the_o word_n of_o god_n for_o any_o such_o practice_n and_o we_o may_v see_v by_o david_n example_n that_o we_o be_v not_o to_o pray_v for_o the_o dead_a 2_o sam._n 12.23_o but_o now_o he_o be_v dead_a say_v he_o wherefore_o shall_v i_o fast_v i_o shall_v go_v to_o he_o but_o he_o in_o this_o world_n and_o the_o apostle_n tell_v we_o plain_o that_o every_o one_o shall_v bear_v his_o own_o burden_n gal._n 6.5_o but_o to_o be_v deliver_v by_o the_o service_n of_o other_o be_v not_o to_o bear_v one_o own_o burden_n we_o may_v see_v that_o prayer_n and_o mass_n and_o absolution_n for_o the_o dead_a be_v very_o vain_a and_o that_o it_o be_v not_o our_o duty_n to_o pray_v for_o they_o 4._o we_o may_v see_v that_o all_o man_n be_v reduce_v to_o two_o sort_n viz._n the_o righteous_a and_o the_o wicked_a that_o there_o be_v but_o two_o way_n for_o they_o to_o go_v to_o happiness_n and_o to_o misery_n that_o the_o righteous_a enter_v into_o a_o state_n of_o happiness_n upon_o their_o departure_n hence_o and_o go_v not_o into_o torment_n and_o punishment_n and_o that_o the_o wicked_a enter_v into_o a_o state_n of_o misery_n and_o be_v never_o like_a to_o be_v release_v out_o of_o it_o and_o therefore_o that_o there_o be_v no_o such_o place_n as_o purgatory_n where_o man_n shall_v be_v torment_v for_o a_o time_n and_o afterward_o release_v from_o it_o the_o sacred_a scripture_n do_v all_o along_o rank_a man_n into_o these_o two_o sort_n of_o righteous_a and_o wicked_a though_o sometime_o by_o other_o name_n as_o the_o evil_a and_o the_o good_a the_o just_a and_o the_o unjust_a the_o saint_n and_o the_o sinner_n the_o child_n of_o god_n and_o the_o child_n of_o the_o wicked_a one_o believer_n and_o infidel_n etc._n etc._n under_o these_o two_o sort_n do_v our_o bless_a lord_n comprehend_v all_o man_n matt._n 5.45_o that_o you_o may_v be_v the_o their_o departure_n hence_o do_v enter_v into_o a_o state_n of_o joy_n and_o happiness_n and_o therefore_o that_o they_o be_v not_o torment_v in_o purgatory_n they_o enter_v then_o into_o rest_n as_o i_o have_v show_v before_o and_o therefore_o not_o into_o purgatory_n and_o of_o lazarus_n in_o the_o parable_n it_o be_v say_v that_o he_o be_v carry_v present_o after_o death_n into_o abraham_n bosom_n luk._n 16.22_o and_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o the_o beggar_n die_v and_o be_v carry_v by_o the_o angel_n into_o abraham_n bosom_n and_o we_o may_v be_v sure_a that_o abraham_n the_o say_v son_n remember_v that_o thou_o in_o thy_o life_n time_n receive_v thy_o good_a thing_n and_o likewise_o lazarus_n evil_a thing_n but_o now_o he_o be_v comfort_v and_o thou_o be_v torment_v not_o into_o any_o such_o place_n as_o purgatory_n and_o hereby_o be_v we_o instruct_v that_o all_o righteous_a man_n shall_v be_v convey_v as_o soon_o as_o they_o be_v dead_a to_o a_o place_n of_o
