but_o he_o that_o have_v see_v god_n in_o christ_n i_o speak_v not_o as_o i_o tell_v you_o of_o a_o day_n of_o humiliation_n or_o of_o the_o duty_n of_o humiliation_n or_o of_o a_o preparatory_a humiliation_n but_o of_o the_o gospel_n grace_n of_o humiliation_n of_o that_o frame_n of_o heart_n that_o be_v or_o aught_o to_o be_v in_o a_o saint_n at_o all_o time_n for_o the_o discovery_n of_o it_o i_o tell_v you_o we_o shall_v find_v much_o of_o it_o first_o by_o our_o carriage_n towards_o god_n second_o by_o our_o carriage_n towards_o man_n towards_o god_n i_o tell_v you_o first_o in_o respect_n of_o his_o righteousness_n and_o indeed_o therein_o chief_o be_v discover_v the_o pride_n of_o our_o heart_n or_o the_o humility_n of_o our_o heart_n by_o our_o receive_n or_o not_o soul_n the_o evil_n of_o the_o heart_n will_v break_v out_o in_o affliction_n more_o than_o in_o mercy_n and_o in_o some_o it_o be_v more_o discover_v in_o a_o state_n of_o prosperity_n in_o a_o way_n of_o mercy_n then_o in_o the_o way_n of_o affliction_n as_o on_o the_o other_o side_n in_o some_o soul_n grace_n be_v more_o clear_a and_o shine_v in_o affliction_n then_o in_o prosperity_n and_o true_o i_o think_v that_o in_o some_o soul_n grace_n will_v shine_v more_o in_o the_o way_n of_o mercy_n and_o if_o god_n will_v come_v and_o have_v mercy_n upon_o poor_a england_n my_o hope_n be_v respect_n of_o the_o mercy_n of_o mercy_n 3._o a_o humble_a heart_n will_v wait_v for_o mercy_n god_n be_v this_o that_o a_o humble_a heart_n can_v be_v content_a to_o wait_v upon_o the_o lord_n though_o he_o stay_v never_o so_o long_o for_o the_o least_o mercy_n proud_a heart_n unless_o you_o feed_v they_o in_o have_v they_o will_v be_v go_v a_o proud_a heart_n will_v not_o wait_v on_o god_n all_o sinner_n but_o there_o be_v some_o special_a time_n when_o god_n will_v make_v at_o his_o heart_n there_o be_v a_o time_n there_o be_v one_o day_n of_o peculiar_a grace_n that_o god_n have_v reserve_v almost_o for_o every_o sinner_n which_o be_v call_v the_o day_n of_o his_o visitation_n why_o now_o a_o poor_a humble_a heart_a saint_n think_v thus_o yonder_o be_v a_o man_n be_v now_o jeer_v of_o the_o people_n of_o god_n he_o be_v a_o enemy_n to_o all_o holiness_n and_o say_v he_o yonder_o man_n his_o day_n of_o visitation_n be_v not_o yet_o come_v but_o then_o he_o will_v bless_v god_n in_o that_o day_n and_o say_v o_o bless_a be_v the_o lord_n that_o send_v i_o such_o a_o friend_n or_o such_o a_o neighbour_n he_o will_v oft_o come_v to_o call_v upon_o i_o to_o go_v to_o think_v that_o he_o may_v be_v in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n before_o i_o and_o therefore_o let_v i_o be_v meek_a and_o affable_a towards_o he_o belove_a that_o stir_v and_o rigour_n and_o ridgidnesse_n in_o pride_n ridgidnesse_n to_o sinner_n arise_v from_o pride_n professor_n towards_o poor_a sinner_n it_o arise_v only_o from_o the_o pride_n of_o their_o heart_n now_o i_o say_v if_o language_n not_o according_a to_o the_o curse_a language_n of_o these_o time_n that_o denominate_v man_n from_o every_o opinion_n and_o call_v they_o seeker_n and_o presbiterian_o and_o anabaptist_n and_o independent_o i_o know_v not_o what_o curse_v language_n but_o i_o say_v all_o man_n be_v either_o saint_n or_o sinner_n thou_o be_v either_o a_o saint_n or_o a_o sinner_n christ_n have_v but_o two_o name_n for_o man_n here_o and_o will_v have_v but_o two_o hand_n when_o he_o come_v to_o judge_v his_o right_a hand_n and_o his_o left_a hand_n and_o there_o be_v but_o two_o place_n after_o judgement_n heaven_n and_o hell_n so_o by_o our_o carriage_n towards_o saint_n and_o sinner_n we_o may_v know_v whether_o we_o have_v this_o grace_n of_o humiliation_n or_o no._n of_o our_o carriage_n to_o sinner_n i_o speak_v somewhat_o the_o last_o time_n i_o shall_v now_o proceed_v to_o the_o last_o thing_n of_o all_o that_o be_v our_o carriage_n and_o demeanour_n to_o the_o saint_n and_o therein_o because_o we_o be_v now_o upon_o examination_n i_o beseech_v you_o in_o a_o special_a manner_n to_o have_v a_o eye_n upon_o your_o heart_n while_o i_o be_o speak_v that_o god_n may_v make_v
