how_o the_o objection_n be_v wipe_v away_o sylas_n it_o be_v first_o to_o be_v note_v that_o the_o apostle_n do_v not_o direct_o answer_v their_o cavil_v argument_n which_o be_v sophistical_a be_v a_o fallacy_n from_o the_o ambiguity_n of_o the_o speech_n of_o not_o be_v under_o the_o law_n which_o the_o obiectour_n take_v as_o be_v mean_v of_o a_o freedom_n from_o the_o obedience_n of_o the_o law_n whereas_o the_o apostle_n understand_v it_o of_o the_o rigorous_a exaction_n of_o the_o law_n forbid_v evil_a thing_n and_o give_v no_o strength_n to_o forbear_v they_o but_o rather_o provoke_v our_o lust_n more_o after_o such_o evil_n as_o it_o forbid_v our_o apostle_n therefore_o content_v himself_o to_o answer_v the_o consequent_a of_o the_o argument_n namely_o that_o which_o be_v untrue_o conclude_v and_o gather_v from_o his_o own_o doctrine_n to_o wit_n that_o we_o may_v free_o sin_v this_o consequent_a he_o answer_v two_o way_n his_o first_o answer_n be_v by_o word_n of_o detestation_n god_n forbid_v in_o 15_o verse_n hereby_o teach_v we_o that_o all_o wicked_a and_o false_a thing_n infer_v from_o the_o word_n must_v be_v abhor_v of_o us._n in_o the_o second_o part_n of_o his_o answer_n he_o prove_v the_o quite_o contrary_a to_o the_o objection_n namely_o that_o such_o as_o be_v not_o under_o law_n but_o under_o grace_n ought_v not_o to_o serve_v sin_n but_o christ_n their_o lord_n tim._n how_o do_v he_o prove_v this_o by_o what_o argument_n sylas_n by_o these_o two_o reason_n the_o first_o be_v take_v from_o the_o condition_n of_o servant_n in_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o 16._o verse_n this_o reason_n stand_v thus_o it_o be_v meet_v that_o every_o one_o obey_v he_o who_o servant_n he_o be_v but_o all_o true_a believer_n be_v the_o servant_n of_o first_o that_o it_o be_v wisdom_n in_o the_o minister_n of_o the_o word_n to_o build_v their_o doctrine_n upon_o know_v and_o receive_v principle_n of_o which_o every_o one_o be_v convict_v that_o they_o be_v true_a second_o we_o must_v judge_v of_o our_o service_n either_o to_o sin_n or_o to_o god_n not_o by_o our_o profession_n but_o by_o our_o practice_n and_o obedience_n if_o we_o do_v fulfil_v and_o obey_v the_o lust_n of_o sin_n then_o be_v we_o the_o servant_n of_o sin_n whatsoever_o we_o profess_v or_o say_v to_o the_o contrary_n three_o that_o it_o stand_v with_o great_a
