division_n t._n c._n pag._n 118._o sect._n 1_o but_o here_o also_o may_v rise_v another_o doubt_n of_o the_o former_a word_n of_o moses_n in_o the_o book_n of_o number_n for_o see_v that_o he_o make_v this_o exception_n if_o they_o be_v clean_o it_o may_v be_v say_v that_o those_o that_o depart_v do_v not_o feel_v themselves_o meet_v to_o receyve_v and_o therefore_o depart_v the_o other_o three_o or_o four_o or_o mo_z feel_v themselves_o meet_a and_o dispose_v for_o that_o purpose_n whereupon_o it_o may_v seem_v that_o it_o be_v neither_o reason_n to_o compel_v those_o to_o come_v which_o dead_a which_o they_o be_v by_o the_o rule_n of_o charity_n bind_v to_o bury_v sometime_o by_o touch_v at_o unwares_o a_o dead_a body_n or_o by_o sit_v in_o the_o place_n where_o some_o unclean_a body_n have_v sit_v or_o by_o touch_v such_o thing_n which_o the_o law_n judge_v unclean_a which_o thing_n can_v be_v allege_v in_o those_o that_o be_v now_o of_o the_o church_n for_o as_o many_o as_o be_v of_o it_o and_o withal_o of_o such_o discretion_n as_o be_v able_a to_o prove_v and_o examine_v themselves_o can_v have_v no_o excuse_n at_o all_o if_o they_o may_v be_v at_o the_o church_n to_o withdraw_v themselves_o from_o the_o holy_a supper_n of_o the_o lord_n for_o if_o they_o will_v say_v that_o they_o be_v not_o meet_v it_o may_v be_v answer_v unto_o they_o that_o it_o be_v their_o own_o fault_n and_o further_o if_o they_o be_v not_o meet_v to_o receyve_v the_o holy_a sacrament_n of_o the_o supper_n they_o be_v not_o meet_v to_o hear_v the_o word_n of_o god_n they_o be_v not_o meet_v to_o be_v partaker_n of_o the_o prayer_n of_o the_o church_n and_o if_o they_o be_v for_o one_o they_o be_v also_o for_o the_o other_o for_o with_o that_o boldness_n and_o with_o that_o duty_n or_o lawfulness_n i_o speak_v of_o those_o which_o be_v of_o the_o church_n and_o of_o discretion_n to_o examine_v themselves_o i_o say_v show_v say_v this_o be_v not_o true_a as_o shall_v be_v show_v with_o what_o lawfulness_n they_o may_v offer_v themselves_o to_o the_o prayer_n and_o to_o the_o hear_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n they_o may_v also_o offer_v themselves_o unto_o the_o lord_n supper_n and_o to_o who_o soever_o of_o they_o the_o lord_n will_v communicate_v himself_o by_o preach_v the_o word_n unto_o the_o same_o he_o will_v not_o refuse_v to_o communicate_v himself_o by_o receyve_v of_o the_o sacrament_n for_o whosoever_o be_v of_o god_n household_n and_o family_n he_o need_v not_o be_v afraid_a to_o come_v to_o the_o lord_n table_n nor_o doubt_n but_o that_o the_o lord_n will_v feed_v he_o there_o and_o whatsoever_o he_o be_v that_o be_v a_o member_n of_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n may_v be_v assure_v that_o he_o receyve_v life_n from_o christ_n the_o head_n as_o well_o by_o the_o artery_n and_o conduit_n of_o the_o supper_n of_o the_o lord_n as_o by_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n so_o that_o it_o must_v needs_o follow_v that_o the_o not_o receyve_v of_o those_o which_o depart_v out_o of_o the_o church_n when_o there_o be_v any_o communion_n celebrate_v proceed_v either_o of_o vain_a and_o superstitious_a fear_n grow_v of_o gross_a ignorance_n of_o themselves_o and_o of_o the_o holy_a sacrament_n or_o else_o of_o a_o intolerable_a negligence_n or_o rather_o contempt_n of_o the_o which_o neither_o the_o one_o nor_o the_o other_o shall_v be_v either_o bear_v with_o or_o nourish_v either_o by_o permit_v three_o or_o four_o to_o communicate_v alone_o or_o else_o in_o let_v they_o which_o depart_v go_v so_o easy_o away_o with_o so_o great_a a_o fault_n which_o ought_v to_o be_v severe_o punish_v io._n whitgifte_n neither_o do_v i_o differ_v from_o you_o in_o the_o substance_n of_o this_o that_o you_o here_o set_v down_o which_o be_v as_o i_o take_v it_o to_o cut_v off_o frivolous_a and_o vain_a excuse_n use_v by_o such_o as_o either_o neglect_n or_o contemn_v the_o holy_a communion_n but_o in_o certain_a circumstance_n here_o use_v i_o do_v not_o altogether_o agree_v with_o you_o for_o first_o the_o uncleanness_n that_o moses_n speak_v of_o be_v but_o ceremonial_a and_o external_a and_o therefore_o may_v more_o easy_o be_v avoid_v but_o weakness_n of_o faith_n and_o uncleanness_n of_o life_n which_o may_v and_z ought_v for_o a_o time_n withdraw_v man_n from_o the_o communion_n be_v natural_a and_o inward_a &_o therefore_o with_o great_a difficulty_n shun_v second_o a_o christian_a man_n and_o a_o true_a member_n of_o the_o church_n may_v take_v benefit_n pray_v man_n not_o mete_v to_o communicate_v may_v be_v admit_v to_o the_o hear_n of_o the_o fro_o and_o pray_v by_o prayer_n and_o hear_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n which_o yet_o for_o diverse_a respect_n be_v not_o meet_v to_o receyve_v the_o holy_a communion_n and_o indeed_o pray_v and_o preach_v be_v mean_n to_o prepare_v man_n and_o make_v they_o apt_a to_o communicate_v besides_o this_o he_o that_o be_v weak_a in_o faith_n corrupt_a in_o judgement_n ignorant_a in_o the_o right_a use_n of_o the_o sacrament_n may_v be_v admit_v to_o prayer_n and_o to_o the_o hear_n of_o the_o word_n that_o he_o may_v be_v instruct_v for_o fides_fw-la ex_fw-la auditu_fw-la faith_n come_v by_o hear_v so_o may_v he_o not_o to_o the_o receyve_n 10_o rom_n 10_o of_o the_o supper_n three_o no_o man_n may_v presume_v to_o receyve_v the_o supper_n except_o he_o have_v first_o try_v and_o examine_v himself_o but_o he_o ought_v to_o come_v to_o the_o hear_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n that_o he_o may_v first_o learn_v how_o to_o examine_v himself_o wherefore_o this_o be_v not_o true_a that_o with_o what_o lawfulness_n they_o may_v offer_v themselves_o to_o the_o prayer_n and_o to_o the_o hear_n of_o the_o 19_o t._n c._n contrary_n to_o himself_o pag._n 35._o n._n 10_o &_o pag._n 133._o li_n 19_o word_n of_o god_n they_o may_v also_o offer_v themselves_o unto_o the_o lord_n supper_n and_o you_o affirm_v the_o
