people_n even_o all_o the_o child_n of_o israel_n be_v seven_o thousand_o 16_o and_o they_o go_v out_o at_o noon_n but_o benhadad_a be_v drink_v himself_o drink_v in_o the_o pavilion_n he_o and_o the_o king_n the_o thirty_o and_o two_o king_n that_o help_v he_o 17_o and_o the_o young_a man_n of_o the_o prince_n of_o the_o province_n go_v out_o first_o and_o benhadad_a send_v out_o and_o they_o tell_v he_o say_v there_o be_v man_n come_v out_o of_o samaria_n 18_o and_o he_o say_v whether_o they_o be_v come_v out_o for_o peace_n take_v they_o alive_a or_o whether_o they_o be_v come_v out_o for_o war_n take_v they_o alive_a 19_o so_o these_o young_a man_n of_o the_o prince_n of_o the_o province_n come_v out_o of_o the_o city_n and_o the_o army_n which_o follow_v they_o 20_o and_o they_o slay_v every_o one_o his_o man_n and_o the_o syrian_n flee_v and_o israel_n pursue_v they_o and_o benhadad_a the_o king_n of_o syria_n escape_v on_o a_o horse_n with_o the_o horseman_n 21_o and_o the_o king_n of_o israel_n go_v out_o and_o smite_v the_o horse_n and_o chariot_n and_o slay_v the_o syrian_n with_o a_o great_a slaughter_n 22_o ¶_o and_o the_o prophet_n come_v to_o the_o king_n of_o israel_n and_o say_v unto_o he_o go_v strengthen_v thyself_o and_o mark_v and_o see_v what_o thou_o do_v for_o at_o the_o return_n of_o the_o year_n the_o king_n of_o syria_n will_v come_v up_o against_o thou_o 23_o and_o the_o servant_n of_o the_o king_n of_o syria_n say_v unto_o he_o their_o god_n be_v god_n of_o the_o hill_n therefore_o they_o be_v strong_a than_o we_o but_o let_v we_o fight_v against_o they_o in_o the_o plain_a and_o sure_o we_o shall_v be_v strong_a than_o they_o 24_o and_o do_v this_o thing_n take_v the_o king_n away_o every_o man_n out_o of_o his_o place_n and_o put_v captain_n in_o their_o room_n 25_o
