consequence_n as_o well_o as_o strength_n of_o reason_n and_o equity_n there_o be_v a_o influence_n issue_v from_o christ_n our_o head_n to_o make_v we_o so_o indeed_o therefore_o those_o that_o be_v otherwise_o they_o may_v thank_v themselves_o the_o best_a of_o we_o indeed_o have_v cause_n to_o be_v abase_v that_o we_o betray_v our_o comfort_n and_o the_o mean_n that_o we_o have_v of_o raise_v up_o our_o dead_a and_o dull_a heart_n for_o want_v of_o meditation_n let_v we_o but_o keep_v this_o faith_n in_o exercise_n that_o christ_n be_v in_o heaven_n in_o glory_n and_o we_o in_o he_o be_v in_o heaven_n as_o very_o as_o if_o we_o be_v there_o in_o our_o person_n as_o we_o shall_v be_v ere_o long_o and_o then_o let_v we_o be_v uncomfortable_a and_o base_a and_o earthly-minded_n if_o we_o can_v to_o conclude_v all_o christ._n as_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n be_v first_o sinful_a and_o then_o sanctify_v first_o humble_a and_o then_o raise_v so_o our_o meditation_n of_o christ_n must_v be_v in_o this_o order_n first_o think_v of_o christ_n as_o abase_v and_o crucify_v for_o the_o first_o comfort_n that_o the_o soul_n have_v be_v in_o christ_n manifest_v in_o the_o flesh_n before_o it_o flesh_n let_v we_o have_v recourse_n in_o our_o thought_n to_o christ_n in_o the_o womb_n of_o the_o virgin_n to_o christ_n bear_v and_o lie_v in_o the_o manger_n go_v up_o and_o down_o do_v good_a hunger_a and_o thirst_v suffer_v in_o the_o garden_n sweat_v water_n and_o blood_n nail_v on_o the_o cross_n cry_v to_o his_o father_n my_o god_n my_o god_n why_o have_v thou_o forsake_v i_o finish_v by_o satisfy_v his_o father_n wrath_n and_o reconcile_a we_o to_o god_n then_o think_v of_o christ_n in_o heaven_n appear_v there_o for_o we_o keep_v that_o happiness_n that_o he_o have_v purchase_v by_o his_o death_n for_o we_o and_o apply_v the_o benefit_n of_o his_o death_n to_o our_o soul_n by_o his_o spirit_n which_o he_o be_v able_a to_o shed_v more_o abundant_o be_v in_o that_o high_a to_o christ_n and_o to_o we_o again_o we_o there_o be_v a_o marvellous_a bind_a equity_n to_o see_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n to_o we_o in_o particular_a christ_n become_v poor_a to_o make_v we_o rich_a in_o grace_n here_o and_o in_o glory_n hereafter_o and_o shall_v not_o i_o out_o of_o my_o riches_n give_v somewhat_o to_o the_o poor_a be_v it_o not_o equal_a christ_n from_o heaven_n come_v in_o my_o nature_n and_o flesh_n to_o visit_v i_o as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o song_n of_o zachary_n the_o day_n spring_n from_o on_o high_a have_v visit_v we_o and_o shall_v not_o i_o visit_v christ_n in_o his_o member_n he_o come_v from_o heaven_n to_o earth_n to_o take_v notice_n of_o my_o want_n and_o misery_n to_o do_v and_o suffer_v that_o that_o i_o shall_v have_v do_v and_o suffer_v he_o to_o stir_v we_o up_o to_o this_o marvellous_a neglect_a duty_n of_o kindness_n and_o mercy_n to_o those_o that_o stand_v in_o need_n other_o and_o because_o christ_n be_v our_o pattern_n herein_o let_v we_o labour_n to_o imitate_v christ_n in_o the_o manner_n of_o relieve_v and_o show_v kindness_n and_o communicate_v to_o other_o that_o we_o may_v do_v it_o as_o christ_n have_v do_v how_o be_v that_o speedy_o first_o christ_n prevent_v we_o when_o we_o never_o desire_v he_o so_o we_o shall_v prevent_v other_o sometime_o the_o modesty_n of_o those_o that_o want_v be_v such_o that_o they_o we_o do_v any_o thing_n or_o else_o we_o may_v give_v with_o the_o hand_n and_o deny_v with_o the_o heart_n a_o man_n may_v give_v a_o thing_n so_o untoward_o that_o one_o may_v see_v it_o come_v against_o his_o heart_n and_o will_n therefore_o let_v we_o labour_n to_o do_v that_o we_o do_v with_o our_o whole_a man_n especial_o from_o our_o heart_n and_o affection_n and_o bowel_n it_o be_v and_o certain_o if_o trouble_v come_v we_o shall_v many_o of_o we_o be_v better_o than_o we_o be_v now_o affliction_n will_v be_v so_o far_o from_o do_v we_o harm_n that_o they_o will_v refine_v we_o we_o shall_v lose_v nothing_o but_o that_o that_o do_v we_o hurt_v that_o that_o we_o may_v well_o spare_v that_o that_o hinder_v our_o joy_n and_o comfort_n but_o affliction_n i_o say_v let_v we_o comfort_v ourselves_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o present_a state_n of_o the_o church_n christ_n rule_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o his_o enemy_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o cross_n and_o persecution_n not_o to_o free_v we_o always_o from_o they_o but_o he_o rule_v in_o turn_v they_o to_o good_a in_o strengthen_v &_o exercise_v our_o grace_n and_o he_o rule_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o his_o church_n at_o his_o heart_n but_o he_o have_v a_o time_n for_o pharaoh_n ruin_n so_o christ_n have_v a_o time_n for_o the_o persecutor_n of_o the_o church_n as_o he_o have_v for_o all_o the_o ten_o persecute_v emperor_n that_o come_v to_o fearful_a and_o base_a end_n be_v there_o ever_o any_o man_n fierce_a against_o god_n and_o prosper_v say_v job._n be_v there_o ever_o any_o that_o set_v themselves_o against_o the_o church_n of_o god_n and_o prosper_v no_o no_o it_o be_v with_o the_o church_n as_o it_o be_v with_o christ_n to_o have_v look_v on_o christ_n hang_v and_o bleed_v on_o the_o cross_n lay_v one_o thing_n with_o another_o see_v the_o church_n in_o heaven_n with_o the_o head_n of_o the_o church_n see_v the_o church_n advance_v see_v it_o in_o glory_n ere_o long_o see_v it_o refine_v and_o fit_v by_o suffering_n to_o come_v better_a out_o of_o affliction_n than_o it_o go_v in_o and_o then_o none_o will_v take_v scandal_n at_o the_o affliction_n of_o the_o church_n as_o they_o ought_v not_o at_o the_o abasement_n of_o christ_n for_o though_o he_o be_v god_n manifest_v in_o weak_a flesh_n yet_o we_o see_v he_o ascend_v up_o in_o glory_n 30.7_o there_o be_v a_o comfortable_a
