be_v sufficient_a warrant_n to_o the_o apostle_n to_o do_v their_o work_n though_o all_o the_o prince_n of_o the_o world_n resist_v then_o must_v the_o commandment_n of_o the_o same_o god_n be_v of_o the_o same_o effect_n to_o all_o other_o instrument_n who_o it_o please_v the_o lord_n to_o use_v in_o their_o calling_n to_o his_o service_n also_o though_o all_o the_o prince_n in_o the_o world_n shall_v withstand_v and_o forbid_v the_o same_o for_o neither_o dignity_n of_o the_o person_n that_o be_v use_v make_v the_o commandment_n of_o god_n of_o more_o authority_n or_o necessity_n to_o be_v wealth_n which_o we_o think_v no_o man_n to_o be_v so_o ignorant_a or_o barbarous_a to_o deny_v except_o the_o anabaptiste_n but_o whether_o the_o church_n ought_v not_o now_o among_o themselves_o free_o to_o practice_n christ_n testament_n either_o in_o erect_v his_o officer_n and_o ordinance_n or_o in_o reform_v or_o correct_v any_o fault_n or_o abuse_n that_o arise_v among_o they_o without_o stay_v for_o the_o prince_n licence_n yea_o though_o the_o prince_n shall_v upon_o the_o pain_n of_o death_n forbid_v this_o we_o affirm_v to_o be_v the_o duty_n of_o every_o particular_a or_o suffer_v these_o thing_n to_o be_v do_v can_v keep_v we_o have_v above_o show_v in_o the_o second_o principal_a transgression_n how_o express_o contrary_a this_o leaven_a traditional_a proposition_n of_o m_o r._n g._n be_v to_o all_o these_o scripture_n and_o doctrine_n above_o recite_v be_v so_o evident_a to_o all_o man_n as_o it_o need_v no_o further_a or_o lardger_n refutation_n 13._o and_o exhort_v the_o church_n upon_o the_o first_o discovery_n hereof_o to_o speedy_a repentance_n 23_o how_o can_v m_o r._n g._n persuade_v the_o church_n to_o continue_v witting_o in_o open_a error_n &_o public_a transgression_n or_o in_o this_o estate_n promise_v they_o peace_n the_o holy_a ghost_n have_v not_o set_v down_o this_o as_o a_o note_n of_o a_o true_a prophet_n neither_o have_v god_n promise_v any_o peace_n to_o they_o that_o witting_o continue_v in_o any_o error_n or_o transgression_n until_o they_o repent_v do_v not_o one_o dead_a fly_n putrify_v and_o cause_n to_o stink_v have_v at_o the_o prince_n commandment_n commit_v much_o more_o continued_a to_o commit_v any_o transgression_n without_o unfeigned_a repentance_n but_o if_o the_o least_o error_n be_v contrary_a to_o true_a faith_n the_o least_o transgression_n sin_n and_o no_o know_a sin_n or_o error_n to_o be_v commit_v or_o continue_v in_o how_o can_v he_o persuade_v the_o church_n to_o commit_v or_o to_o continue_v in_o any_o error_n or_o transgression_n so_o high_o to_o tempt_v and_o provoke_v the_o lord_n and_o now_o to_o the_o point_n we_o will_v know_v of_o he_o whether_o any_o prince_n muchlesse_a a_o christian_n prince_n may_v abrogate_v the_o commandment_n of_o god_n or_o take_v away_o that_o power_n and_o authority_n that_o god_n have_v give_v to_o the_o church_n unto_o the_o world_n end_n if_o not_o but_o that_o the_o commandment_n of_o god_n remain_v always_o the_o same_o and_o the_o church_n have_v the_o same_o power_n under_o a_o christian_n magistrate_n that_o under_o apt_a to_o mis-understand_v one_o a_o other_o and_o to_o take_v word_n in_o too_o large_a or_o straight_o a_o sense_n it_o be_v good_a we_o set_v down_o what_o be_v mean_v by_o this_o reformation_n here_o speak_v of_o before_o we_o proceed_v we_o mean_v then_o by_o reformation_n to_o reduce_v all_o thing_n and_o action_n to_o the_o true_a ancient_a and_o primative_a pattern_n of_o god_n word_n do_v that_o himself_o for_o filthy_a lucre_n &_o fear_n of_o the_o world_n which_o he_o for_o shame_n of_o the_o world_n dare_v not_o alow_o neither_o can_v justify_v yea_o &_o whatsoever_o he_o colourable_o pretend_v &_o aledge_v in_o his_o second_o book_n to_o cover_v &_o excuse_v the_o shame_n &_o infamy_n of_o his_o former_a yet_o be_v he_o become_v a_o earnest_a pleader_n for_o all_o the_o corruption_n and_o abuse_n of_o his_o church_n not_o grant_v unto_o we_o any_o one_o of_o the_o abuse_n we_o reprove_v to_o be_v unlawful_a &_o ungodly_a lest_o we_o shall_v thereupon_o urge_v idolothite_n yea_o he_o be_v yet_o further_a drive_v open_o to_o justify_v the_o ministry_n and_o regiment_n of_o these_o arch_n &_o lord_n bishop_n and_o their_o hierarchy_n to_o be_v of_o christ_n against_o which_o he_o erewhile_o also_o amongst_o the_o rest_n of_o that_o faction_n be_v a_o earnest_a â—utor_n to_o the_o parliament_n to_o have_v they_o utter_o remove_v out_o of_o the_o church_n and_o abolish_v their_o office_n ministry_n court_n government_n which_o can_v not_o be_v do_v without_o most_o heinous_a impiety_n open_a barbarity_n &_o violence_n to_o the_o church_n and_o unto_o christ_n himself_o if_o they_o have_v be_v of_o christ_n as_o he_o now_o pretend_v again_o if_o they_o be_v not_o of_o christ_n but_o of_o antichrist_n as_o they_o all_o of_o that_o sect_n then_o upon_o certain_a knowledge_n and_o assurance_n affirm_v how_o and_o with_o what_o conscience_n can_v the_o reformist_n themselves_o submit_v unto_o their_o decree_n power_n &_o government_n receive_v establish_a church_n of_o christ_n to_o have_v the_o true_a seal_n of_o the_o covenant_n etc._n etc._n and_o in_o deed_n this_o it_o stand_v he_o upon_o to_o prove_v see_v their_o whole_a ministry_n be_v immediate_o derive_v &_o receive_v from_o their_o mother_n of_o rome_n as_o also_o their_o whole_a government_n court_n &c_n &c_n and_o no_o small_a part_n of_o their_o worship_n &_o ministration_n together_o with_o the_o whole_a people_n parish_n &_o synagogs_n as_o they_o now_o stand_v he_o want_v not_o learned_a prove_n to_o bring_v this_o about_o as_o that_o the_o apostasy_n shall_v arise_v and_o antichrist_n sit_v in_o the_o church_n of_o god_n yea_o he_o prove_v both_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n &_o of_o england_n at_o once_o by_o the_o schism_n of_o israel_n the_o apostasy_n of_o juda_n &c_n &c_n which_o yet_o in_o those_o estate_n be_v pronounce_v church_n by_o the_o prophet_n he_o prove_v they_o within_o the_o covenant_n by_o the_o second_o commandment_n
