many_o bloody_a bear_n boy_n sterous_a bull_n cruel_a tiger_n panter_n pardal_n leopard_n serpent_n dragon_n and_o such_o like_a and_o not_o become_v a_o prey_n unto_o they_o i_o say_v nothing_o all_o this_o while_n of_o a_o danger_n as_o great_a as_o any_o other_o namely_o of_o the_o thief_n and_o robber_n cormorant_n and_o caitiff_n that_o lurk_v in_o obscure_a place_n gape_v for_o the_o spoil_n of_o wayfaring_a man_n of_o who_o notwithstanding_o they_o be_v cruel_o rifle_v and_o have_v oftentimes_o their_o throat_n miserable_o cut_v but_o who_o be_v able_a to_o express_v all_o the_o hard_a hap_n and_o hazard_n which_o they_o throw_v themselves_o into_o that_o journey_n by_o night_n in_o the_o desert_n as_o be_v aforesaid_a very_o i_o suppose_v not_o syluanus_n himself_o now_o than_o be_v eftsoon_o environ_v with_o innumerable_a straits_n of_o the_o body_n with_o innumerable_a perplexity_n of_o the_o soul_n as_o touch_v the_o body_n we_o come_v naked_a into_o the_o world_n without_o either_o mantel_n to_o cover_v we_o or_o strength_n to_o defend_v we_o or_o discretion_n to_o guide_v we_o or_o provision_n to_o succour_v we_o in_o which_o behalf_n the_o very_a brute_n beast_n do_v faraway_a surmount_v we_o and_o we_o be_v no_o soon_o crawl_v forth_o of_o our_o mother_n womb_n but_o we_o set_v out_o our_o throat_n and_o cry_n even_o thereby_o betray_v both_o our_o a_o other_o and_o even_o death_n itself_o continual_o pursue_v we_o and_o thus_o fare_v it_o with_o we_o as_o touch_v our_o body_n but_o as_o concern_v our_o soul_n the_o case_n be_v so_o much_o the_o more_o dangerous_a as_o the_o enemy_n be_v pernicious_a and_o calamity_n grievous_a whereunto_o they_o be_v subject_a subject_n i_o say_v not_o by_o creation_n but_o by_o depravation_n or_o rather_o of_o soul_n and_o body_n for_o the_o reward_n of_o sin_n be_v death_n and_o every_o soul_n that_o sin_v shall_v die_v say_v the_o lord_n these_o thing_n thus_o brief_o premise_v although_o they_o may_v seem_v sufficient_a to_o strike_v as_o it_o be_v a_o alarm_n into_o all_o man_n conscience_n and_o to_o make_v they_o look_v about_o they_o if_o haply_o they_o may_v espy_v any_o remedy_n yet_o over_o and_o beside_o these_o if_o we_o will_v weigh_v and_o consider_v what_o a_o unmerciful_a number_n of_o spiritual_a enemy_n we_o have_v to_o deal_v and_o encounter_v with_o how_o subtle_o they_o number_n to_o play_v the_o part_n of_o the_o nimble_a sight_a lynx_n a_o sly_a and_o subtle_a sort_n to_o fare_v like_o fox_n a_o tetchy_a and_o kick_a kind_n of_o ass_n to_o bray_v a_o venomous_a sight_n of_o serpent_n to_o hiss_v and_o to_o be_v short_a such_o a_o huge_a rabble_n of_o stink_a goat_n bellow_v bugle_n puff_v panter_n and_o all_o manner_n of_o unclean_a beast_n that_o a_o man_n shall_v walk_v much_o safe_a in_o the_o wilderness_n amongst_o the_o wild_a beast_n in_o deed_n than_o he_o can_v do_v in_o the_o world_n amongst_o man_n of_o so_o beastly_a condition_n neither_o
