mere_a probability_n because_o this_o lord_n be_v as_o we_o well_o know_v a_o zealous_a papist_n and_o have_v own_v himself_o so_o but_o we_o have_v express_v particular_a proof_n against_o his_o person_n my_o lord_n we_o have_v one_o witness_v to_o produce_v to_o your_o lordship_n who_o will_v prove_v that_o in_o september_n 78._o there_o be_v a_o consult_v of_o some_o priest_n and_o other_o conspirator_n at_o tixall_n in_o staffordshire_n my_o lord_n aston_n house_n for_o kill_v of_o the_o king_n where_o my_o lord_n stafford_n be_v present_a and_o by_o a_o discourse_n in_o the_o same_o month_n we_o shall_v prove_v what_o reason_n this_o lord_n do_v give_v why_o he_o and_o their_o party_n undertake_v the_o murder_v of_o the_o king_n because_o he_o say_v that_o he_o and_o many_o lord_n we_o will_v go_v far_o and_o prove_v that_o this_o lord_n offer_v 500_o l._n out_o of_o his_o own_o purse_n to_o carry_v on_o the_o plot_n and_o particular_o this_o part_n of_o it_o for_o kill_v the_o king_n we_o shall_v produce_v to_o your_o lordship_n a_o witness_n to_o who_o he_o make_v this_o offer_n as_o look_v upon_o he_o to_o be_v a_o faithful_a man_n and_o have_v receive_v so_o great_a a_o character_n of_o he_o from_o one_o evers_n a_o priest_n that_o he_o think_v he_o may_v safe_o communicate_v the_o matter_n to_o he_o and_o the_o argument_n he_o urge_v to_o persuade_v the_o witness_n beside_o the_o 500_o l._n which_o he_o say_v upon_o his_o application_n to_o harcou●t_n and_o ireland_n they_o shall_v pay_v he_o be_v this_o that_o other_o as_o well_o as_o he_o be_v and_o be_v persuade_v by_o that_o lady_n and_o by_o one_o morgan_n a_o jesuit_n to_o become_v a_o friar_n and_o to_o that_o end_n be_v send_v to_o douai_n but_o not_o like_v to_o continue_v at_o douai_n he_o will_v tell_v you_o the_o reason_n why_o he_o escape_v to_o france_n and_o at_o paris_n come_v to_o his_o brother_n a_o benedictine_n monk_n there_o who_o advise_v he_o to_o go_v for_o england_n but_o whilst_o he_o stay_v at_o paris_n this_o gentleman_n by_o the_o mean_n of_o his_o brother_n and_o other_o priest_n grow_v into_o a_o great_a samiliarity_n with_o my_o lord_n stafford_n who_o be_v then_o in_o france_n and_o who_o at_o last_o come_v to_o have_v such_o a_o great_a confidence_n in_o he_o that_o his_o lordship_n can_v not_o hold_v but_o tell_v he_o that_o though_o he_o have_v disoblige_v all_o his_o friend_n by_o his_o go_v away_o from_o douai_n yet_o he_o have_v something_o to_o propose_v to_o he_o which_o will_v be_v a_o mean_n to_o reconcile_v he_o to_o h●s_a friend_n and_o bring_v he_o into_o preferment_n and_o into_o the_o friendship_n of_o all_o good_a catholic_n who_o he_o will_v oblige_v by_o it_o the_o gentleman_n be_v willing_a to_o embrace_v so_o happy_a a_o opportunity_n and_o desire_v to_o know_v what_o it_o be_v can_v procure_v he_o so_o great_a a_o good_a my_o lord_n stafford_n the_o prisoner_n at_o the_o bar_n tell_v he_o it_o be_v a_o
