any_o schoolmaster_n all_o offence_n aforesaid_a and_o all_o offence_n against_o the_o first_o eliz._n 1._o 5_o eliz._n 1._o 13_o eliz._n 2._o etc._n etc._n be_v inquirable_a into_o by_o the_o justice_n of_o peace_n and_o other_o justice_n name_v in_o the_o say_a act_n within_o a_o year_n and_o day_n after_o such_o offence_n commit_v justice_n of_o oyer_n and_o terminer_n of_o assiize_n of_o goal-delivery_n in_o their_o limit_n justice_n of_o peace_n in_o their_o quarter-session_n have_v power_n to_o hear_v and_o determine_v the_o offence_n aforesaid_a except_o treason_n and_o misprision_n of_o treason_n every_o person_n guilty_a of_o any_o offence_n against_o this_o statute_n other_o than_o treason_n &_o misprision_n of_o treason_n which_o shall_v before_o he_o be_v or_o session_n in_o the_o county_n where_o such_o person_n shall_v be_v resident_a be_v discharge_v of_o all_o the_o say_a offence_n the_o forfeiture_n of_o the_o money_n limit_v by_o this_o act_n shall_v be_v divide_v into_o three_o equal_a part_n whereof_z one_o third_z part_n to_o the_o queen_n to_o her_o use_n another_o for_o the_o relief_n of_o the_o poor_a in_o the_o parish_n where_o such_o offence_n be_v commit_v to_o be_v deliver_v by_o warrant_n of_o the_o principle_n officer_n in_o the_o receipt_n of_o the_o exchequer_n without_o further_a warrant_n from_o her_o majesty_n the_o other_o three_o part_n to_o such_o person_n as_o will_v sue_v for_o the_o same_o in_o any_o court_n of_o record_n in_o which_o no_o essoin_fw-fr or_o protection_n or_o wager_n of_o law_n shall_v be_v allow_v he_o that_o shall_v forfeit_v such_o sum_n as_o be_v specify_v in_o this_o act_n and_o be_v not_o able_a or_o shall_v not_o pay_v the_o same_o within_o 3._o month_n after_o judgement_n shall_v be_v commit_v to_o prison_n and_o there_o remain_v until_o he_o have_v pay_v the_o say_v sum_n or_o conform_v himself_o to_o go_v to_o church_n he_o that_o usual_o on_o sunday_n shall_v have_v in_o his_o house_n the_o divine_a service_n as_o it_o be_v establish_v and_o be_v thereat_o usual_o present_a and_o not_o obstinate_o refuse_v to_o come_v to_o church_n and_o shall_v at_o least_o four_o time_n in_o the_o year_n be_v present_a at_o the_o divine_a service_n in_o his_o parish_n church_n or_o in_o some_o open_a church_n or_o chapel_n of_o ease_n shall_v incur_v no_o damage_n nor_o danger_n by_o this_o act._n every_o grant_n conveyance_n bond_n judgement_n and_o execution_n of_o covetous_a purpose_n to_o defraud_v the_o queen_n or_o any_o other_o person_n shall_v be_v hold_v utter_o void_a trial_n of_o a_o peer_n for_o any_o treason_n or_o misprision_n of_o treason_n by_o this_o act_n shall_v be_v by_o his_o peer_n this_o act_n nor_o any_o thing_n contain_v therein_o be_v religious_a or_o ecclesiastical_a person_n whatsoever_o bear_v within_o the_o dominion_n of_o the_o queen_n and_o make_v since_o the_o feast_n of_o the_o nativity_n of_o st._n john_n in_o the_o first_o year_n of_o the_o queen_n or_o hereafter_o to_o be_v make_v by_o any_o authority_n from_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n shall_v after_o the_o say_v forty_o day_n after_o the_o session_n of_o parliament_n other_o then_o in_o such_o special_a case_n as_o in_o this_o act_n be_v express_v be_v find_v in_o any_o of_o the_o queen_n dominion_n every_o such_o person_n shall_v be_v adjudge_v a_o traitor_n all_o they_o which_o shall_v receive_v any_o such_o jesuit_n or_o priest_n after_o such_o time_n shall_v be_v adjudge_v a_o fellow_n without_o benefit_n of_o clergy_n if_o any_o subject_a of_o england_n then_o be_v or_o after_o shall_v be_v of_o or_o bring_v up_o in_o any_o college_n of_o jesuit_n or_o seminary_n already_o erect_v or_o to_o be_v erect_v out_o of_o the_o realm_n shall_v not_o within_o six_o month_n next_o after_o proclamation_n in_o that_o behalf_n make_v in_o london_n under_o the_o broad_a seal_n return_v into_o this_o realm_n and_o within_o two_o day_n after_o before_o the_o bishop_n of_o the_o diocese_n or_o two_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n of_o the_o county_n where_o he_o shall_v arrive_v submit_v himself_o to_o her_o majesty_n and_o her_o law_n and_o take_v the_o oath_n set_v forth_o in_o the_o first_o year_n of_o her_o reign_n that_o then_o every_o such_o person_n which_o shall_v otherwise_o return_v shall_v be_v take_v and_o deem_v as_o a_o shall_v incur_v the_o danger_n of_o a_o praemunire_n none_o during_o the_o queen_n life_n shall_v send_v he_o or_o her_o child_n or_o other_o person_n except_o merchant_n or_o such_o only_a who_o serve_v in_o their_o trade_n as_o merchant_n or_o mariner_n beyond_o the_o sea_n without_o the_o queen_n special_a licence_n or_o under_o four_o of_o the_o counsel_n hand_n upon_o the_o penalty_n of_o one_o hundred_o pound_n every_o offence_n commit_v against_o this_o act_n may_v be_v hear_v and_o determine_v as_o well_o in_o the_o king_n bench_n as_o also_o in_o any_o county_n within_o this_o realm_n or_o any_o of_o the_o queen_n dominion_n where_o the_o offence_n shall_v be_v commit_v or_o where_o the_o offendor_n shall_v be_v apprehend_v this_o act_n shall_v not_o extend_v to_o any_o jesuit_n etc._n etc._n before_o mention_v as_o shall_v within_o the_o say_v 40._o day_n or_o within_o 40._o day_n after_o he_o come_v into_o the_o realm_n submit_v himself_o to_o some_o archbishop_n or_o bishop_n of_o this_o realm_n or_o to_o some_o justice_n of_o peace_n within_o the_o county_n where_o he_o shall_v arrive_v and_o do_v thereupon_o true_o and_o sincere_o before_o the_o archbishop_n bishop_n or_o justice_n of_o peace_n take_v the_o say_a oath_n set_v forth_o the_o first_o of_o eliz._n and_o under_o his_o hand_n confess_v afterward_o to_o continue_v in_o due_a obedience_n to_o the_o queen_n law_n make_v or_o to_o be_v make_v in_o cause_n of_o religion_n peer_n shall_v be_v try_v by_o their_o peer_n for_o any_o offence_n make_v treason_n felony_n or_o praemunire_n by_o this_o act._n any_o person_n be_v a_o subject_a of_o this_o realm_n which_o shall_v after_o the_o say_v 40._o day_n know_v any_o such_o jesuit_n or_o priest_n etc._n etc._n and_o shall_v not_o discover_v the_o same_o to_o some_o justice_n of_o peace_n or_o high_a officer_n within_o 12._o day_n every_o such_o person_n shall_v be_v fine_v and_o imprison_v according_a to_o the_o queen_n pleasure_n and_o every_o such_o justice_n of_o peace_n or_o high_a officer_n which_o shall_v not_o discover_v the_o same_o within_o 28._o day_n to_o some_o of_o the_o queen_n council_n or_o to_o the_o precedent_n or_o vicepresident_n of_o the_o queen_n council_n establish_v in_o the_o north_n or_o march_n of_o wales_n than_o he_o or_o they_o so_o offend_v shall_v forfeit_v 200_o mark_n
