affliction_n both_o in_o opposition_n to_o all_o inward_a repine_n and_o outward_a murmur_a 3_o if_o you_o will_v bear_v your_o affliction_n christian-like_a you_o must_v bear_v they_o willing_o and_o cheerful_o to_o help_v you_o herein_o take_v these_o few_o consideration_n 1_o that_o no_o affliction_n befall_v any_o without_o the_o wise_a order_n providence_n of_o god_n 6._o as_o eliphas_n remove_v thy_o yoke-fellow_n child_n or_o friend_n but_o it_o be_v sign_v by_o thy_o heavenly_a father_n this_o consideration_n have_v be_v a_o ground_n of_o comfort_n unto_o the_o people_n of_o god_n in_o all_o their_o affliction_n 21_o the_o lord_n say_v job_n have_v give_v and_o the_o lord_n have_v take_v away_o bless_a be_v the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o this_o must_v needs_o be_v a_o ground_n of_o comfort_n yea_o and_o joy_n unto_o all_o the_o people_n of_o god_n especial_o if_o you_o shall_v consider_v in_o the_o next_o place_n 2_o that_o the_o end_n god_n aim_v at_o in_o your_o affliction_n be_v to_o do_v you_o good_a yea_o some_o special_a good_a that_o can_v not_o be_v do_v so_o well_o in_o any_o other_o way_n the_o lord_n chasten_v we_o for_o our_o profit_n 10_o say_v the_o apostle_n every_o cross_n will_v bring_v with_o it_o some_o blessing_n or_o other_o if_o the_o fault_n be_v not_o in_o ourselves_o yea_o the_o great_a cross_n will_v bring_v the_o great_a blessing_n 3_o as_o god_n do_v intend_v our_o good_a thereby_o so_o when_o it_o have_v effect_v that_o good_a which_o god_n intend_v thereby_o he_o will_v soon_o remove_v your_o affliction_n from_o you_o for_o the_o lord_n take_v no_o delight_n or_o pleasure_n in_o your_o pain_n or_o suffering_n but_o delight_v in_o mercy_n 8_o and_o therefore_o will_v not_o neither_o can_v he_o suffer_v his_o afflict_a hand_n to_o lie_v long_o upon_o you_o than_o in_o his_o wisdom_n he_o see_v to_o be_v needful_a and_o necessary_a for_o the_o effect_n of_o that_o good_a which_o he_o intend_v you_o thereby_o and_o therefore_o if_o your_o affliction_n seem_v long_o unto_o you_o know_v it_o be_v no_o long_o than_o needs_o must_v and_o that_o that_o good_a for_o which_o god_n send_v it_o be_v not_o yet_o effect_v 4_o that_o god_n will_v either_o proportion_v your_o affliction_n to_o the_o measure_n of_o your_o strength_n or_o your_o strength_n to_o the_o measure_n of_o your_o affliction_n lay_v
