the_o power_n or_o strength_n of_o nature_n this_o be_v the_o nature_n these_o the_o condition_n of_o that_o hope_n that_o purge_v the_o heart_n and_o reform_v the_o life_n and_o consequent_o save_v ambition_n other_o in_o pride_n and_o scorn_n and_o malice_n so_o that_o no_o man_n good_a name_n and_o reputation_n no_o man_n life_n how_o blameless_a and_o innocent_a soever_o be_v safe_a from_o their_o unrighteous_a censure_n yet_o all_o this_o while_n they_o be_v so_o far_o from_o think_v this_o to_o be_v any_o sin_n that_o they_o make_v a_o piece_n of_o religion_n of_o it_o and_o believe_v whether_o it_o be_v of_o god_n or_o whether_o i_o speak_v of_o myself_o where_o he_o insinuate_v that_o those_o person_n who_o be_v willing_a to_o obey_v the_o gospel_n provide_v they_o know_v it_o be_v of_o god_n to_o live_v by_o the_o rule_v arid_a precept_n of_o it_o will_v easy_o yield_v belief_n unto_o it_o when_o it_o be_v due_o propound_v to_o they_o add_v consequent_o that_o the_o great_a reason_n why_o man_n will_v not_o yield_v their_o belief_n to_o it_o be_v because_o they_o will_v not_o yield_v obedience_n to_o the_o law_n therein_o prescribe_v unto_o they_o because_o as_o it_o be_v these_o inordinate_a lust_n that_o hinder_v the_o progress_n of_o christian_a faith_n when_o it_o be_v first_o reveal_v and_o publish_v so_o do_v the_o very_a same_o lust_n first_o bring_v corruption_n and_o delusion_n into_o the_o faith_n of_o those_o person_n that_o make_v profession_n of_o christianity_n and_o still_o continue_v to_o lead_v they_o into_o misbelief_n they_o will_v not_o part_v with_o their_o belove_a lust_n and_o pleasure_n they_o will_v not_o forget_v their_o sinful_a gain_n or_o what_o be_v easy_a what_o be_v please_v to_o flesh_n and_o blood_n the_o forego_v these_o be_v by_o our_o lord_n express_v by_o the_o pluck_n out_o of_o a_o eye_n and_o by_o cut_v of_o a_o right_a hand_n matt._n 5.29_o 30._o whereby_o he_o declare_v the_o great_a unwillingness_n that_o be_v in_o man_n to_o deny_v their_o natural_a inclination_n though_o never_o so_o sinful_a and_o inordinate_a on_o the_o other_o hand_n as_o they_o be_v unwilling_a to_o deny_v
