subject_a to_o doubt_v whether_o we_o be_v in_o the_o state_n of_o grace_n and_o so_o of_o the_o number_n of_o those_o that_o shall_v be_v save_v by_o christ_n 2._o second_o how_o we_o shall_v be_v able_a to_o overcome_v our_o strong_a corruption_n and_o temptation_n 3._o three_o how_o to_o get_v grace_n to_o pray_v hear_v the_o word_n and_o to_o perform_v all_o duty_n to_o god_n and_o man_n in_o faith_n so_o as_o god_n will_v accept_v they_o 4._o four_o how_o to_o endure_v and_o profit_v by_o all_o affliction_n and_o persecution_n 5._o five_o how_o to_o be_v provide_v for_o of_o all_o thing_n needful_a for_o this_o natural_a life_n 6._o six_o how_o we_o shall_v hold_v out_o to_o the_o end_n all_o which_o may_v be_v draw_v to_o two_o head_n first_o for_o our_o spiritual_a life_n second_o for_o this_o bodily_a life_n in_o both_o which_o be_v we_o so_o strengthen_v in_o faith_n as_o to_o rest_v upon_o god_n for_o all_o sufficient_a relief_n i_o well_o see_v not_o what_o may_v be_v much_o want_v to_o make_v we_o rejoice_v always_o in_o the_o lord_n and_o sure_o i_o be_o no_o other_o state_n in_o this_o life_n herewith_o be_v to_o be_v compare_v let_v we_o therefore_o come_v to_o particular_n and_o see_v how_o in_o all_o of_o these_o we_o may_v gather_v out_o of_o god_n word_n strength_n of_o faith_n and_o so_o comfort_v to_o our_o soul_n for_o the_o better_a finish_v of_o our_o warfare_n in_o this_o life_n and_o more_o full_a assurance_n of_o our_o final_a victory_n and_o glory_n hereafter_o in_o and_o through_o our_o lord_n jesus_n and_o now_o to_o begin_v with_o that_o salvation_n first_o point_n wherein_o we_o live_v by_o faith_n be_v for_o assurance_n of_o our_o salvation_n which_o as_o it_o be_v first_o in_o order_n so_o be_v it_o in_o degree_n above_o all_o to_o be_v most_o seek_v for_o see_v upon_o it_o all_o the_o rest_n do_v depend_v and_o yet_o we_o be_v usual_o in_o nothing_o more_o want_v namely_o to_o be_v sure_a of_o our_o salvation_n by_o christ_n under_o which_o i_o do_v contain_v especial_o our_o justification_n by_o which_o we_o be_v make_v god_n child_n all_o which_o as_o we_o have_v already_o hear_v be_v to_o be_v have_v alone_o in_o christ_n and_o to_o be_v make_v we_o only_o by_o faith_n 5_o titus_n 3._o 5_o not_o by_o any_o work_n of_o righteousness_n which_o we_o have_v do_v whereof_o although_o there_o have_v be_v in_o and_o heir_n of_o salvation_n we_o be_v to_o remember_v certainty_n double_a certainty_n that_o there_o be_v a_o twofold_a certainty_n or_o assurance_n of_o god_n favour_n faith_n 1._o of_o faith_n one_o the_o certainty_n which_o come_v by_o faith_n alone_o sense_n 2._o sense_n the_o only_o stay_v whereof_o be_v god_n word_n the_o other_o be_v the_o certainty_n of_o sense_n when_o as_o we_o have_v some_o spiritual_a feel_n of_o god_n favour_n manifest_v to_o we_o by_o his_o manifold_a grace_n bestow_v on_o we_o which_o be_v so_o many_o token_n and_o testimony_n of_o his_o fatherlie_a love_n a_o clear_a resemblance_n whereof_o may_v be_v that_o which_o joab_n say_v to_o david_n 22._o 2_o sam._n 14._o 22._o to_o day_n thy_o servant_n know_v that_o i_o have_v find_v grace_n in_o all_o grace_n and_o so_o full_a of_o all_o sin_n may_v be_v bold_a to_o believe_v and_o thereby_o be_v assure_v to_o be_v save_v by_o christ_n and_o to_o this_o end_n that_o his_o sin_n be_v quite_o forgive_v and_o he_o accept_v as_o righteous_a in_o god_n sight_n so_o reconcile_v to_o god_n and_o adopt_v to_o be_v god_n child_n that_o he_o may_v rejoice_v in_o hope_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n how_o such_o a_o one_o i_o say_v may_v get_v and_o daily_o increase_v this_o assurance_n of_o faith_n that_o there_o be_v no_o condemnation_n to_o he_o belong_v but_o that_o he_o have_v
