their_o several_a and_o different_a delight_n but_o these_o delectation_n be_v not_o always_o please_v na●_n they_o prove_v oftentimes_o distasteful_a and_o troublesome_a to_o their_o great_a lover_n for_o they_o be_v indeed_o but_o transitory_a and_o bestial_a but_o those_o delectation_n or_o pleasure_n which_o in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v shall_v be_v pour_v out_o upon_o the_o righteous_a be_v everlasting_a and_o rational_a and_o for_o this_o cause_n i_o do_v not_o see_v how_o it_o be_v possible_a to_o express_v they_o so_o as_o to_o make_v they_o intelligible_a or_o subject_n to_o our_o understanding_n in_o this_o life_n especial_o because_o we_o can_v find_v in_o the_o pleasure_n of_o this_o life_n any_o example_n or_o similitude_n which_o have_v in_o it_o any_o collation_n with_o they_o or_o can_v give_v we_o the_o least_o light_a or_o manifestation_n of_o they_o for_o those_o heavenly_a delight_n the_o more_o we_o enjoy_v they_o will_v be_v the_o more_o dear_a and_o acceptable_a to_o we_o for_o the_o fullness_n of_o those_o joy_n breed_v no_o surfeit_n and_o such_o delight_n as_o these_o be_v i_o believe_v no_o man_n ever_o in_o this_o world_n do_v so_o far_o perceive_v or_o taste_v as_o to_o be_v able_a to_o describe_v unto_o other_o the_o true_a state_n or_o favour_n of_o they_o two_o bless_a and_o two_o miserable_a state_n of_o man_n we_o know_v to_o be_v the_o great_a and_o the_o lesser_a his_o great_a or_o perfect_a state_n of_o bliss_n be_v in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n his_o lesser_a be_v that_o which_o adam_n forfeit_v the_o joy_n of_o paradise_n as_o for_o his_o state_n of_o misery_n his_o great_a and_o endless_a one_o be_v in_o the_o lake_n of_o fire_n and_o brimstone_n and_o his_o lesser_a in_o the_o continual_a travel_n and_o affliction_n of_o this_o present_a life_n now_o it_o be_v clear_a that_o no_o man_n in_o this_o life_n after_o adam_n do_v ever_o taste_v of_o either_o of_o those_o two_o state_n of_o bliss_n but_o if_o we_o have_v try_v or_o taste_v of_o only_o that_o lesser_a state_n of_o bliss_n which_o adam_n enjoy_v in_o paradise_n we_o may_v then_o perhaps_o by_o the_o mediation_n or_o mean_n of_o the_o lesser_a conjucture_n or_o guess_v at_o the_o great_a as_o now_o be_v bear_v and_o breed_v up_o in_o the_o lesser_a state_n of_o misery_n we_o can_v give_v many_o plain_a and_o convince_a demonstration_n of_o our_o deplorable_a condition_n in_o the_o great_a wherefore_o see_v the_o pleasure_n we_o speak_v of_o be_v a_o branch_n or_o portion_n of_o that_o great_a state_n of_o bliss_n i_o can_v conceive_v of_o any_o possibility_n to_o express_v it_o unless_o we_o may_v do_v it_o by_o some_o similitude_n that_o be_v quite_o contrary_a to_o the_o great_a state_n of_o misery_n and_o draw_v from_o the_o lesser_a for_o example_n or_o instance_n let_v we_o suppose_v that_o there_o stand_v before_o we_o a_o naked_a man_n with_o hot_a and_o flame_a iron_n thrust_v into_o the_o very_a apple_n of_o his_o eye_n and_o into_o every_o part_n and_o member_n of_o his_o body_n his_o vein_n nerve_n and_o muscle_n so_o that_o neither_o his_o marrow_n nor_o his_o entrail_n nor_o any_o the_o most_o inward_a and_o tender_a part_n be_v free_a from_o the_o anguish_n and_o immanity_n of_o the_o torment_n and_o that_o he_o be_v as_o sensible_a of_o the_o pain_n in_o every_o member_n as_o he_o must_v needs_o be_v in_o the_o very_a ball_n of_o his_o eye_n what_o shall_v i_o say_v now_o of_o this_o man_n be_v he_o not_o miserable_o torment_v and_o who_o among_o these_o disperse_a and_o ubiquitary_a pain_n thus_o inflict_v will_v be_v so_o irrational_a as_o to_o think_v that_o he_o can_v have_v any_o ease_n or_o pleasure_n in_o the_o same_o manner_n but_o by_o a_o quite_o contrary_a consideration_n may_v we_o conjecture_v or_o guess_v at_o the_o delectation_n and_o pleasure_n of_o the_o life_n to_o come_v for_o as_o this_o man_n be_v fill_v and_o pain_v all_o over_o with_o torment_n so_o shall_v ineffable_a and_o endless_a pleasure_n be_v pour_v upon_o and_o overflow_v the_o righteous_a their_o eye_n their_o ear_n and_o their_o heart_n yea_o their_o very_a bone_n as_o the_o prophet_n david_n say_v shall_v be_v glad_a and_o rejoice_v every_o part_n and_o every_o member_n of_o they_o shall_v be_v crown_v and_o replenish_v with_o the_o fullness_n and_o the_o life_n of_o pleasure_n yea_o their_o whole_a man_n shall_v be_v true_o and_o abundant_o satisfy_v with_o the_o fatness_n of_o god_n house_n and_o he_o shall_v make_v they_o drink_v of_o the_o river_n of_o
