of_o wisdom_n for_o say_v he_o i_o be_o to_o preach_v christ_n crucify_v a_o gallant_a eloquent_a speech_n excellency_n of_o word_n and_o pleat_a sentence_n dont_fw-fr become_v a_o crucify_a christ_n if_o i_o shall_v speak_v at_o that_o rate_n my_o speech_n will_v not_o be_v suit_v unto_o the_o subject_n that_o i_o have_v in_o hand_n for_o i_o preach_v christ_n crucify_v say_v he_o for_o i_o determine_v not_o to_o know_v any_o thing_n among_o you_o save_v jesus_n christ_n and_o h●m_o crucify_v some_o book_n read_v it_o i_o desire_v not_o to_o know_v any_o thing_n among_o you_o but_o rather_o i_o judge_v it_o i_o decree_v i_o determine_v not_o to_o know_v any_o thing_n among_o you_o not_o to_o know_v any_o thing_n among_o you_o not_o to_o make_v any_o think_v know_v unto_o you_o i_o will_v preach_v as_o if_o i_o know_v nothing_o else_o but_o christ_n and_o he_o crucify_v christ_n and_o he_o crucify_v be_v the_o great_a thing_n i_o desire_v to_o make_v know_v and_o that_o you_o shall_v know_v so_o that_o plain_o then_o the_o observation_n be_v this_o obs_n the_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n crucify_v be_v the_o most_o desirable_a thing_n in_o the_o world_n the_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n crucify_v be_v the_o most_o desirable_a knowledge_n and_o the_o most_o desirable_a thing_n in_o the_o world_n that_o which_o the_o apostle_n teach_v and_o the_o church_n learned_a must_v needs_o be_v the_o most_o desirable_a now_o this_o be_v that_o the_o apostle_n teach_v and_o this_o be_v that_o the_o church_n learned_a and_o therefore_o this_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n crucify_v be_v the_o most_o desirable_a but_o for_o the_o open_n and_o prosecute_n hereof_o 1._o we_o must_v a_o little_a inquire_v what_o it_o be_v to_o know_v christ_n crucify_v and_o when_o a_o man_n may_v be_v say_v to_o know_v christ_n crucify_v 2._o that_o it_o be_v our_o great_a work_n and_o business_n in_o the_o world_n to_o know_v christ_n crucify_v 3._o what_o there_o be_v in_o christ_n crucify_v that_o be_v so_o desirable_a to_o be_v know_v 4_o whether_o a_o man_n may_v live_v under_o the_o gospel_n and_o not_o know_v christ_n crucify_v 5._o what_o be_v the_o benefit_n that_o we_o do_v get_v or_o gain_v by_o the_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n crucify_v and_o then_o 6._o what_o we_o shall_v do_v that_o we_o may_v know_v christ_n crucify_v in_o a_o right_a manner_n and_o 7._o in_o case_n we_o do_v know_v he_o what_o be_v our_o duty_n that_o flow_v from_o hence_o first_o of_o all_o if_o you_o ask_v what_o it_o be_v to_o know_v chris●_n crucify_v or_o when_o a_o man_n be_v the_o holy_a one_o of_o israel_n but_o true_o and_o effectual_o a_o man_n be_v say_v to_o know_v christ_n crucify_v when_o he_o do_v know_v the_o mind_n and_o will_n of_o god_n the_o father_n in_o christ_n crucify_v have_v a_o disposition_n and_o affection_n suitable_a thereunto_o word_n of_o knowledge_n note_v a_o affection_n and_o word_n of_o affection_n in_o scripture_n note_v a_o effect_n according_o therefore_o in_o scripture_n phrase_n a_o man_n be_v say_v to_o know_v when_o he_o do_v go_v round_o about_o a_o business_n do_v consider_v of_o it_o and_o look_v well_o into_o it_o and_o so_o christ_n say_v behold_v i_o behold_v i_o and_o say_v the_o apostle_n consider_v the_o high_a priest_n of_o your_o profession_n this_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n crucify_v be_v not_o a_o bare_a knowledge_n of_o christ_n crucify_v in_o the_o history_n but_o it_o be_v a_o serious_a look_v into_o the_o mystery_n thereof_o in_o scripture_n phrase_n a_o man_n be_v say_v to_o know_v when_o he_o do_v approve_v approbation_n be_v put_v for_o knowledge_n so_o at_o the_o last_o christ_n shall_v say_v depart_v from_o i_o for_o i_o never_o know_v you_o that_o be_v i_o never_o approve_v of_o you_o knowledge_n be_v put_v for_o approbation_n and_o so_o a_o man_n be_v say_v to_o know_v christ_n crucify_v when_o he_o do_v understand_v and_o know_v the_o mind_n and_o will_n of_o god_n the_o afflictive_a to_o they_o and_o that_o be_v the_o second_o 3._o but_o than_o three_o as_o the_o departing_n of_o god_n be_v the_o most_o afflictive_a to_o a_o gracious_a soul_n so_o when_o the_o lord_n be_v in_o any_o measure_n depart_v it_o be_v the_o great_a desire_n of_o the_o saint_n and_o people_n of_o god_n that_o god_n will_v return_v not_o that_o god_n will_v take_v away_o his_o hand_n the_o psalmist_n do_v not_o say_v so_o we_o be_v afflict_v lord_n take_v away_o our_o affliction_n no_o but_o return_v o_o lord_n how_o long_o they_o do_v not_o say_v we_o be_v in_o this_o or_o that_o distress_n take_v away_o this_o distress_n and_o misery_n from_o we_o no_o but_o return_v o_o lord_n this_o be_v the_o great_a thing_n that_o they_o do_v most_o desire_n when_o god_n be_v go_v in_o any_o measure_n or_o depart_v from_o they_o their_o great_a desire_n be_v that_o god_n will_v return_v unto_o they_o and_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v so_o for_o first_o what_o be_v the_o presence_n of_o god_n but_o the_o most_o desirable_a thing_n in_o the_o world_n when_o the_o day_n of_o refresh_a shall_v come_v from_o his_o presence_n it_o be_v the_o presence_n of_o christ_n that_o will_v make_v the_o day_n of_o judgement_n a_o day_n of_o refresh_v god_n presence_n be_v the_o saint_n pleasure_n in_o it_o there_o be_v a_o fill_v up_o of_o our_o indigent_a nature_n in_o it_o there_o be_v the_o obtainment_n of_o our_o last_o end_n with_o the_o knowledge_n thereof_o in_o it_o there_o be_v a_o universal_a good_a god_n presence_n be_v the_o most_o desirable_a thing_n in_o all_o the_o world_n no_o wonder_n then_o that_o when_o god_n be_v depart_v in_o any_o measure_n the_o saint_n shall_v above_o all_o thing_n in_o the_o world_n desire_v that_o god_n will_v return_v again_o but_o second_o god_n never_o return_v empty_a hand_v to_o his_o people_n if_o a_o husband_n be_v long_o absent_a from_o his_o wife_n he_o will_v not_o return_v empty_a hand_v i_o be_o sure_a god_n will_v not_o return_v empty_a hand_v unto_o his_o people_n when_o he_o have_v strike_v they_o he_o will_v let_v out_o more_o love_n unto_o they_o than_o ever_o before_o it_o be_v a_o sad_a and_o a_o sharp_a dispensation_n that_o the_o basket_n of_o good_a figgs_n shall_v be_v carry_v away_o captive_a with_o the_o basket_n of_o bad_a figgs_n but_o see_v how_o god_n return_v unto_o they_o not_o empty_a will_v not_o only_o pay_v you_o the_o principal_a of_o your_o enjoyment_n but_o will_v pay_v you_o all_o your_o forbearance-mony_n too_o but_o three_o and_o especial_o take_v the_o saint_n and_o people_n of_o god_n and_o where_o do_v they_o live_v but_o in_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n person_n not_o of_o his_o benefit_n not_o of_o his_o comfort_n but_o they_o live_v in_o the_o love_n of_o his_o person_n look_v into_o the_o book_n of_o the_o cant._n and_o you_o shall_v find_v how_o the_o heart_n of_o christ_n be_v draw_v out_o in_o love_n to_o the_o person_n of_o the_o spouse_n let_v i_o hear_v thy_o voice_n say_v he_o for_o thy_o voice_n be_v sweet_a and_o thy_o countenance_n be_v comely_a how_o fair_a be_v thy_o love_n my_o sister_n my_o spouse_n thy_o lip_n oh_o my_o spouse_n drop_v as_o the_o hony-comb_n and_o so_o he_o go_v on_o insist_v in_o his_o love_n upon_o the_o person_n so_o do_v the_o spouse_n also_o towards_o he_o my_o belove_a be_v altogether_o lovely_a and_o as_o you_o read_v my_o belove_a be_v white_a and_o ruddy_a the_o chief_a among_o ten_o thousand_o and_o so_o she_o go_v on_o thus_o love_n be_v draw_v out_o towards_o the_o person_n of_o christ_n now_o if_o this_o be_v the_o spirit_n and_o if_o this_o be_v the_o disposition_n of_o the_o saint_n and_o the_o people_n of_o god_n that_o they_o live_v in_o love_n to_o the_o person_n of_o christ_n than_o no_o wonder_n that_o when_o christ_n be_v with-drawn_a they_o do_v above_o all_o thing_n desire_v that_o he_o will_v return_v again_o this_o must_v needs_o be_v for_o they_o live_v in_o the_o love_n of_o his_o person_n and_o not_o of_o his_o benefit_n not_o of_o his_o comfort_n therefore_o above_o all_o thing_n they_o say_v return_v o_o lord_n return_n four_o when_o the_o lord_n do_v return_v unto_o his_o people_n he_o do_v then_o repent_v he_o concern_v his_o servant_n return_v o_o lord_n how_o long_o and_o let_v it_o repent_v thou_o concern_v thy_o servant_n for_o the_o open_n and_o clear_n of_o this_o four_o thing_n brief_o first_o what_o it_o be_v for_o god_n to_o repent_v 2._o whether_o god_n do_v at_o any_o time_n repent_v or_o will_v at_o any_o time_n repent_v 3._o how_o it_o may_v appear_v that_o when_o god_n return_v unto_o his_o people_n that_o then_o he_o will_v repent_v he_o concern_v his_o servant_n and_o 4._o how_o shall_v we_o know_v in_o the_o day_n and_o time_n of_o god_n departure_n from_o we_o that_o god_n will_v again_o return_v unto_o we_o 1._o as_o for_o the_o first_o if_o you_o ask_v what_o it_o be_v for_o god_n to_o repent_v i_o answer_v it_o be_v to_o change_v the_o dispensation_n of_o his_o anger_n god_n dont_fw-fr repent_v by_o the_o change_n of_o his_o affection_n but_o he_o repent_v by_o the_o change_n of_o his_o dispensation_n as_o when_o a_o man_n be_v write_v and_o he_o blott_v out_o what_o he_o have_v write_v he_o repent_v that_o he_o have_v write_v such_o a_o thing_n so_o when_o god_n be_v write_v hard_a thing_n
