the_o one_o point_n &_o the_o other_o there_o be_v many_o other_o in_o question_n though_o possible_o not_o of_o that_o difficulty_n or_o importance_n yea_o himself_o in_o the_o follow_a page_n propound_v another_o question_n differ_v from_o this_o to_o which_o notwithstanding_o he_o appropriate_v the_o same_o honour_n and_o affirm_v it_o to_o be_v the_o sole_a question_n too_o again_o 5._o p._n 6._o whereas_o he_o determine_v moderate_v or_o regulate_v episcopacy_n to_o be_v the_o same_o with_o presbytery_n i_o conceive_v this_o determination_n will_v hardly_o be_v vote_v orthodox_n in_o the_o assembly_n itself_o nor_o in_o the_o general_a assembly_n of_o the_o church_n of_o scotland_n for_o my_o part_n though_o i_o can_v approve_v of_o it_o as_o matter_n of_o truth_n yet_o for_o matter_n of_o inconvenience_n otherwise_o i_o have_v nothing_o to_o charge_v it_o with_o again_o whereas_o in_o the_o same_o page_n in_o case_n the_o parliament_n by_o the_o synod_n advice_n shall_v unanimous_o establish_v a_o moderate_v episcopacy_n as_o most_o consonant_a to_o the_o scripture_n he_o profess_v for_o himself_o that_o he_o shall_v ready_o submit_v unto_o it_o and_o withal_o demand_v of_o the_o antiquerist_a why_o not_o he_o and_o all_o other_o as_o if_o either_o the_o consonancy_n of_o a_o practice_n to_o the_o scripture_n or_o the_o example_n of_o one_o man_n submit_v unto_o it_o as_o consonant_a thereunto_o be_v a_o sufficient_a ground_n for_o all_o man_n whatsoever_o to_o submit_v likewise_o unto_o it_o without_o any_o more_o ado_n this_o savour_v strong_o of_o that_o error_n which_o comport_v so_o well_o with_o the_o practice_n of_o some_o viz._n that_o if_o man_n in_o authority_n shall_v conclude_v and_o enjoin_v any_o thing_n as_o consonant_a to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n all_o man_n be_v bind_v ready_o to_o submit_v unto_o it_o without_o ask_v any_o question_n for_o conscience_n sake_n yea_o or_o whether_o they_o see_v either_o consonancy_n or_o dissonancy_n in_o it_o thereunto_o again_o 6._o whereas_o he_o own_v this_o say_n p._n 6._o as_o the_o natural_a issue_n lawful_o beget_v of_o the_o body_n or_o soul_n the_o one_o of_o his_o own_o position_n that_o politician_n and_o statesman_n be_v fit_a to_o be_v consult_v with_o to_o suit_v a_o church-government_n best_o to_o the_o civil_a state_n certain_o it_o be_v no_o assertion_n to_o be_v rejoice_v in_o for_o as_o the_o apostle_n make_v their_o enemy_n themselves_o judge_n in_o this_o point_n between_o they_o whether_o it_o be_v meet_v to_o obey_v god_n or_o they_o so_o shall_v i_o willing_o abide_v the_o arbitration_n of_o any_o of_o all_o those_o that_o make_v but_o the_o least_o conscience_n of_o fear_v god_n and_o his_o king_n christ_n whether_o the_o government_n of_o christ_n church_n and_o kingdom_n shall_v condescend_v and_o be_v compel_v by_o politician_n and_o statesman_n to_o do_v obeisance_n to_o civil_a state_n in_o accommodate_v they_o or_o whether_o the_o government_n of_o these_o shall_v not_o rather_o veil_n and_o do_v homage_n unto_o that_o and_o deny_v themselves_o in_o their_o most_o endear_a principle_n and_o maxim_n of_o state_n to_o give_v all_o accommodation_n and_o honour_n unto_o it_o the_o truth_n be_v that_o the_o government_n of_o christ_n kingdom_n in_o a_o civil_a state_n will_v never_o do_v any_o great_a thing_n for_o it_o except_o it_o first_o receive_v accommodation_n from_o it_o the_o truth_n know_v no_o compliance_n but_o only_o with_o those_o that_o submit_v to_o it_o whereas_o pag._n 7._o 6._o he_o place_v the_o whole_a representative_a as_o well_o church_n as_o state_n of_o england_n in_o
