These are wells without water clouds which are carried with a tempest to whom the midst of darkness is reserved for ever for when they speak great swelling words of vanity they allure through the lusts of the flesh c. those who were clean escaped from them who live in error while they promise them c. 2 Pet. 2. 1 2 3 10 11 12 13 14 15 17 18 19. There shall come in the last days scoffers walking after their own lusts and saying Where is the promise of his coming for since the fathers fell asleep all things continue as they were from the beginning c. Some things are hard to be understood which they who are unlearned and unstable wrest as they do also the other Scriptures unto their own destruction ye therefore beloved seeing ye know before beware lest ye also being led away with the error of the wicked fall from your own stedfastness 2 Pet. 3. 3 4 15 16 17. Little children it is the last time and as ye have heard Antichrist shall come even now are there many Antichrists whereby we know that it is the last time they went out from us but they were not of us c. Who is a lyar but he who denieth that Jesus is the Christ he is Antichrist who denieth the father and the Son c. Believe not every spirit but try the spirits whether they are of God because many false prophets are gone out into the world hereby know ye the spirit of God every spirit who confesseth Jesus Christ to have been come in the flesh is of God and every spirit who confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God and this is that spirit of Antichrist whereof you have heard that it should come and even now already it is in the world c. they are of the world therefore speak they of the world and the world heareth them c. He who is of God heareth us he who is not of God heareth not us hereby know we the spirit of truth and the spirit of error c. 1 John 4. 1 2 3 4 5 6. Many deceivers are entred into the world who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh this is a deceiver and an Antichrist look to your selves that we lose not those things which we have wrought c. Whosoever transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ hath not God c. If there come any to you and bring not this doctrine receive him not into your house neither bid him God-speed for he who bids him God-speed is partaker of his evil deeds 2 John verse 7. 8 9 10 11. Earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the Saints for there are certain men crept in unawares who were before of old ordained to this condemnation ungodly men turning the grace of God into lasciviousness and denying the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ

Of Idolatry setting up and worshipping of strange gods graven Images LAban said to Jacob Wherefore hast thou stollen my gods Gen. 31. 30. Jacob said unto his houshold Put away the strange gods that are among you c.
