opportunity_n in_o his_o hand_n to_o perform_v a_o more_o sure_a one_o this_o be_v at_o the_o best_a but_o a_o uncertain_a and_o uncomfortable_a one_o no_o man_n can_v tell_v whether_o it_o will_v be_v accept_v of_o god_n or_o not_o because_o no_o man_n can_v certain_o tell_v whether_o it_o be_v true_a or_o not_o and_o though_o a_o sinner_n ought_v not_o to_o despair_v in_o such_o a_o case_n yet_o he_o can_v have_v but_o little_a and_o that_o a_o very_a waver_a hope_n such_o a_o one_o may_v be_v save_v but_o neither_o he_o nor_o any_o one_o else_o can_v be_v assure_v that_o he_o shall_v be_v so_o there_o be_v so_o much_o ground_n of_o hope_n in_o this_o case_n as_o may_v encourage_v a_o wretched_a sinner_n who_o have_v neglect_v himself_o all_o his_o day_n at_o his_o last_o hour_n to_o try_v what_o repentance_n will_v then_o do_v for_o he_o it_o be_v the_o only_a remedy_n he_o have_v leave_v and_o if_o that_o fail_v nothing_o will_v help_v he_o but_o there_o be_v not_o so_o much_o ground_n of_o hope_n as_o may_v give_v any_o man_n who_o be_v now_o in_o health_n any_o reasonable_a encouragement_n to_o put_v off_o his_o repentance_n till_o that_o time_n certain_o it_o be_v very_o unreasonable_a for_o a_o man_n to_o build_v the_o hope_n of_o his_o salvation_n upon_o that_o which_o can_v secure_v his_o salvation_n to_o he_o to_o conclude_v if_o the_o gospel_n afford_v any_o small_a encouragement_n to_o they_o that_o repent_v upon_o a_o deathbed_n yet_o it_o give_v no_o man_n any_o at_o all_o to_o defer_v and_o put_v off_o his_o repentance_n till_o then_o he_o be_v guilty_a of_o great_a folly_n and_o presumption_n that_o shall_v do_v so_o in_o this_o wilful_a defer_v of_o our_o repentance_n we_o do_v great_o provoke_v almighty_a god_n not_o to_o grant_v we_o the_o benefit_n of_o this_o remedy_n at_o last_o how_o just_o may_v god_n say_v to_o such_o a_o man_n then_o as_o wisdom_n speak_v prov._n 1_o 24_o 25_o 26._o because_o i_o have_v call_v and_o you_o have_v refuse_v i_o have_v stretch_v out_o my_o hand_n and_o you_o will_v not_o regard_v i_o but_o have_v set_v at_o naught_o all_o my_o counsel_n and_o will_v none_o of_o my_o reproof_n i_o also_o will_v laugh_v at_o your_o calamity_n and_o mock_v when_o your_o fear_n come_v now_o you_o shall_v call_v and_o i_o will_v not_o answer_v and_o though_o you_o seek_v i_o early_o you_o shall_v not_o find_v i_o he_o may_v most_o just_o cut_v a_o man_n off_o in_o his_o sin_n by_o a_o sudden_a death_n and_o not_o give_v he_o any_o warning_n or_o space_n to_o repent_v he_o may_v very_o just_o put_v a_o end_n to_o our_o day_n by_o some_o such_o disease_n as_o shall_v hinder_v our_o repentance_n he_o may_v very_o just_o give_v a_o man_n up_o to_o a_o final_a hardness_n and_o so_o let_v he_o die_v in_o his_o sin_n who_o will_v needs_o live_v in_o they_o and_o he_o may_v let_v the_o sinner_n remorse_n and_o trouble_n be_v as_o his_o false_a heart_n incline_v to_o make_v it_o but_o false_a and_o dissemble_a such_o as_o can_v amount_v to_o a_o true_a repentance_n and_o then_o all_o his_o cry_n and_o tear_n all_o his_o vow_n and_o protestation_n shall_v be_v vain_a and_o not_o accept_v but_o he_o shall_v go_v to_o feel_v what_o he_o fear_v and_o from_o the_o torment_n of_o fear_v that_o he_o be_v undo_v to_o that_o of_o find_v he_o be_v so_o these_o thing_n may_v in_o god_n just_a judgement_n befall_v he_o who_o have_v much_o time_n give_v he_o to_o repent_v in_o who_o be_v often_o call_v to_o it_o by_o minister_n and_o friend_n and_o perhaps_o warn_v by_o some_o affliction_n but_o will_v needs_o put_v it_o off_o to_o the_o end_n of_o his_o life_n and_o when_o god_n cut_v off_o such_o a_o man_n in_o his_o career_n of_o sin_n without_o give_v he_o space_n to_o reform_v his_o life_n it_o may_v well_o be_v suspect_v he_o have_v reject_v all_o the_o sorrow_n vow_n and_o protestation_n that_o attend_v his_o departure_n it_o be_v not_o a_o favour_n promise_v that_o a_o man_n shall_v have_v the_o grace_n of_o repentance_n give_v he_o then_o who_o have_v refuse_v it_o often_o before_o though_o god_n out_o of_o his_o sovereign_a grace_n may_v give_v a_o good_a and_o safe_a death_n to_o he_o that_o have_v live_v all_o his_o life_n wicked_o yet_o he_o have_v no_o where_o bind_v himself_o to_o this_o he_o have_v not_o give_v we_o any_o express_a or_o intimate_v allowance_n to_o depend_v upon_o or_o expect_v any_o such_o favour_n and_o then_o it_o be_v altogether_o unreasonable_a to_o expect_v it_o let_v we_o then_o to_o make_v sure_a that_o we_o shall_v die_v the_o death_n of_o the_o righteous_a repent_v while_o we_o be_v in_o health_n and_o may_v have_v time_n to_o prove_v the_o truth_n of_o our_o repentance_n in_o a_o good_a life_n and_o so_o to_o assure_v the_o acceptance_n of_o it_o with_o god_n let_v we_o repent_v when_o we_o be_v call_v to_o it_o and_o when_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n be_v ready_a to_o assist_v we_o and_o to_o give_v we_o a_o true_a repentance_n let_v we_o endeavour_v to_o live_v the_o life_n of_o the_o righteous_a for_o as_o long_a time_n as_o we_o can_v before_o we_o come_v to_o die_v and_o then_o we_o shall_v be_v sure_a to_o make_v a_o good_a end_n mark_v the_o perfect_a man_n and_o behold_v the_o upright_a for_o the_o end_n of_o that_o man_n be_v peace_n the_o prayer_n o_o most_o holy_a and_o most_o righteous_a lord_n our_o god_n the_o judge_n and_o governor_n of_o all_o the_o world_n thou_o love_v righteousness_n and_o hate_v iniquity_n with_o shame_n and_o self_n abasement_n we_o present_v we_o shall_v say_v we_o have_v no_o sin_n we_o shall_v deceive_v ourselves_o and_o the_o truth_n be_v not_o we_o we_o therefore_o humble_o confess_v our_o sin_n before_o thou_o which_o it_o be_v in_o vain_a for_o we_o to_o endeavour_v to_o conceal_v from_o thou_o for_o we_o know_v that_o to_o the_o lord_n our_o god_n belong_v mercy_n and_o forgiveness_n though_o we_o have_v rebel_v against_o thou_o thou_o be_v he_o who_o delight_v not_o in_o the_o death_n of_o a_o sinner_n but_o have_v rather_o that_o he_o shall_v turn_v to_o thou_o and_o live_v we_o thank_v thou_o o_o father_n of_o time_n allow_v we_o to_o consider_v our_o way_n and_o turn_v our_o foot_n unto_o thy_o testimony_n that_o we_o have_v space_n to_o secure_v our_o repentance_n to_o practise_v it_o and_o to_o enjoy_v the_o comfort_n of_o it_o to_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n meet_v for_o repentance_n lord_n if_o we_o be_v true_o grieve_v for_o our_o sin_n past_a we_o must_v needs_o be_v great_o desirous_a of_o lead_v a_o new_a and_o different_a course_n of_o life_n from_o that_o we_o have_v sometime_o do_v give_v we_o therefore_o we_o pray_v thou_o the_o grace_n of_o true_a repentance_n and_o let_v we_o have_v crown_v with_o honour_n and_o dignity_n as_o the_o psalmist_n say_v of_o all_o man_n psal_n 8._o the_o mean_a man_n be_v next_o in_o dignity_n to_o they_o in_o the_o order_n of_o the_o creation_n it_o be_v a_o exceed_a honour_n of_o our_o body_n and_o their_o great_a worth_n and_o commendation_n that_o they_o be_v make_v fit_a to_o serve_v and_o entertain_v so_o noble_a a_o guest_n as_o a_o immortal_a spirit_n and_o this_o honour_n the_o most_o deform_a the_o weak_a and_o the_o most_o crazy_a body_n have_v belong_v to_o it_o but_o our_o great_a worth_n and_o dignity_n lie_v in_o the_o soul_n which_o god_n have_v give_v we_o there_o be_v in_o every_o man_n a_o excellent_a spirit_n which_o be_v capable_a of_o very_o great_a thing_n however_o it_o be_v in_o some_o man_n wretched_o neglect_v and_o depress_v by_o this_o be_v all_o man_n capable_a of_o the_o sublime_a knowledge_n of_o the_o creator_n capable_a to_o love_v and_o praise_n and_o delight_v themselves_o in_o he_o by_o such_o a_o be_v than_o we_o be_v capable_a of_o happiness_n to_o a_o great_a and_o excellent_a degree_n and_o even_o of_o the_o high_a kind_n of_o happiness_n that_o can_v be_v as_o we_o can_v enjoy_v or_o delight_v ourselves_o in_o he_o who_o be_v the_o high_a good_n and_o our_o immortal_a soul_n render_v we_o capable_a of_o everlasting_a happiness_n in_o the_o eternal_a fruition_n of_o a_o infinite_a eternal_a good_n every_o man_n may_v reach_v this_o happiness_n if_o he_o will_v this_o be_v that_o he_o be_v make_v and_o design_v for_o and_o no_o man_n shall_v fall_v short_a of_o it_o but_o by_o his_o own_o default_n thus_o our_o be_v then_o shall_v engage_v we_o to_o be_v thankful_a to_o god_n that_o give_v it_o further_n it_o be_v to_o he_o we_o owe_v the_o continuance_n of_o virtuous_a soul_n and_o be_v free_a from_o envy_n and_o
malice_n we_o can_v see_v with_o satisfaction_n and_o pleasure_n the_o happiness_n and_o satisfaction_n of_o other_o though_o we_o be_v not_o so_o happy_a ourselves_o especial_o may_v this_o please_v we_o in_o those_o that_o be_v virtuous_a and_o good_a and_o in_o those_o that_o be_v dear_a to_o we_o beside_o while_o a_o man_n live_v though_o it_o be_v in_o a_o afflict_a state_n he_o have_v that_o important_a term_n and_o space_n lengthen_v to_o he_o wherein_o alone_o he_o can_v make_v his_o peace_n with_o god_n and_o fit_a and_o prepare_v his_o soul_n for_o heaven_n the_o time_n of_o this_o sinner_n can_v enjoy_v with_o they_o they_o be_v like_o gaudy_a cloud_n but_o such_o as_o be_v empty_a and_o without_o rain_n they_o be_v as_o break_a cistern_n that_o can_v hold_v no_o water_n the_o sinner_n feed_v on_o husk_n like_o the_o wretched_a prodigal_n these_o thing_n may_v please_v he_o much_o while_o they_o be_v new_a but_o in_o a_o little_a time_n he_o have_v suck_v out_o all_o the_o sweetness_n of_o they_o and_o they_o please_v no_o more_o and_o like_o the_o bee_n he_o often_o spoil_v the_o flower_n which_o he_o suck_v the_o honey_n of_o his_o pleasure_n from_o how_o often_o may_v we_o see_v those_o enjoyment_n after_o a_o little_a while_n loathe_v and_o disdain_v which_o be_v seek_v with_o the_o most_o earnest_a desire_n which_o the_o man_n be_v ready_a to_o do_v any_o wealth_n can_v make_v the_o crooked_a body_n straight_o nor_o the_o deform_a beautiful_a the_o body_n may_v be_v please_v but_o it_o be_v hurt_v too_o by_o guilty_a and_o intemperate_a pleasure_n they_o destroy_v the_o appetite_n they_o please_v they_o impair_v the_o health_n and_o strength_n and_o wither_v the_o beauty_n of_o the_o body_n they_o be_v usual_o close_o attend_v with_o uneasy_a loathe_n and_o painful_a disease_n wealth_n and_o honour_n can_v defend_v a_o man_n from_o a_o pestilential_a air_n nor_o possible_o hinder_v but_o that_o he_o shall_v be_v sometime_o incommode_v by_o extremity_n of_o wether_n they_o can_v purchase_v he_o a_o fair_a day_n nor_o a_o warm_a or_o cool_a one_o according_a as_o he_o have_v occasion_n these_o can_v reprieve_v a_o man_n from_o the_o grave_a nor_o cure_v he_o of_o mortality_n the_o rich_a as_o well_o as_o the_o poor_a the_o honourable_a as_o well_o as_o the_o mean_a must_v die_v and_o go_v down_o to_o the_o place_n of_o darkness_n and_o contempt_n they_o that_o trust_v in_o their_o wealth_n and_o boast_v themselves_o in_o the_o multitude_n of_o their_o riches_n say_v the_o psalmist_n none_o of_o they_o can_v by_o any_o mean_n redeem_v his_o brother_n nor_o give_v to_o god_n a_o ransom_n for_o he_o that_o he_o shall_v live_v for_o ever_o and_o not_o see_v corruption_n psal_n 49._o 6_o 7_o 9_o thus_o they_o be_v but_o some_o of_o our_o necessity_n that_o the_o thing_n of_o this_o world_n can_v serve_v and_o they_o be_v only_o outward_a one_o too_o as_o well_o as_o not_o all_o they_o and_o beside_o as_o be_v say_v these_o thing_n be_v of_o no_o use_n to_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n which_o be_v his_o noble_a part_n his_o soul_n be_v utter_o neglect_v and_o the_o interest_n of_o that_o be_v forget_v and_o quit_v while_o he_o in_o the_o way_n of_o wickedness_n pursue_v and_o enjoy_v the_o thing_n of_o this_o world_n the_o mind_n can_v take_v no_o delight_n in_o guilty_a and_o forbid_a pleasure_n it_o be_v never_o exercise_v in_o a_o serious_a reflection_n upon_o they_o but_o with_o pain_n and_o torment_n this_o be_v the_o meaning_n of_o what_o solomon_n say_v of_o they_o prov._n 14._o 13._o in_o laughter_n the_o heart_n be_v say_v and_o the_o end_n of_o that_o mirth_n be_v heaviness_n and_o as_o it_o have_v no_o pleasure_n in_o these_o so_o much_o rather_o have_v it_o no_o profit_n or_o advantage_n from_o they_o they_o indeed_o hurt_v and_o prejudice_v the_o soul_n they_o suppress_v and_o
come_v to_o nothing_o of_o what_o we_o expect_v from_o it_o 3._o the_o sin_n of_o man_n contradict_v all_o the_o right_n of_o the_o great_a creator_n and_o therefore_o must_v needs_o be_v detestible_a of_o god_n against_o sin_n have_v be_v justify_v as_o well_o as_o prove_v we_o may_v be_v help_v to_o make_v this_o conclusion_n very_o easy_o it_o certain_o infer_v a_o real_a and_o great_a disparagement_n and_o baseness_n in_o the_o thing_n its_o self_n to_o be_v hate_v of_o god_n he_o be_v infinite_o wise_a and_o just_a and_o can_v never_o through_o any_o mistake_n or_o envy_n or_o unjustice_n call_v evil_a good_a or_o good_a evil._n he_o do_v never_o condemn_v or_o dislike_v any_o thing_n that_o be_v real_o excellent_a and_o good_a nor_o approve_v or_o esteem_v of_o any_o thing_n that_o be_v true_o vile_a and_o evil_a according_o sin_n be_v and_o we_o shall_v account_v it_o to_o be_v the_o vile_a and_o worst_a thing_n in_o the_o world_n this_o have_v a_o peculiar_a unlikeness_n to_o the_o divine_a nature_n which_o be_v the_o centre_n and_o rule_n of_o all_o excellency_n and_o have_v the_o great_a contrariety_n and_o unlikeness_n to_o it_o that_o can_v be_v and_o it_o must_v follow_v that_o this_o do_v more_o than_o all_o thing_n else_o debase_v and_o dishonour_v a_o man_n there_o be_v nothing_o can_v make_v he_o so_o vile_a so_o contemptible_a as_o this_o and_o nothing_o can_v render_v he_o true_o deserve_v of_o honour_n while_o he_o harbour_v and_o vilify_v himself_o with_o this_o the_o great_a worldly_a honour_n can_v honour_v this_o but_o this_o can_v stain_v and_o dishonour_v they_o this_o can_v make_v the_o noble_a creature_n man_n more_o vile_a than_o the_o beast_n that_o perish_v this_o deserve_v our_o great_a shame_n and_o abhorrence_n so_o far_o be_v it_o from_o reason_n so_o high_o absurd_a for_o a_o man_n to_o be_v proud_a of_o his_o wickedness_n and_o make_v a_o boast_n of_o his_o sin_n this_o be_v to_o glory_n in_o his_o shame_n 2._o we_o may_v also_o infer_v god_n hatred_n of_o the_o sinner_n as_o such_o the_o latter_a part_n of_o the_o text_n seem_v to_o direct_v we_o to_o make_v such_o a_o inference_n from_o this_o former_a which_o say_v but_o he_o love_v he_o that_o follow_v after_o righteousness_n as_o he_o love_v the_o righteous_a man_n for_o his_o righteous_a way_n he_o must_v needs_o hate_v and_o dislike_v the_o sinner_n for_o his_o wicked_a one_o so_o david_n say_v psal_n 5._o thou_o be_v not_o a_o god_n that_o have_v pleasure_n in_o wickedness_n neither_o shall_v evil_a dwell_v with_o thou_o the_o foolish_a shall_v not_o stand_v in_o thy_o sight_n thou_o hate_v all_o worker_n of_o iniquity_n sin_n must_v needs_o expose_v a_o man_n to_o the_o great_a dislike_n and_o displeasure_n of_o god_n habitual_a sin_n how_o can_v he_o view_v he_o with_o complacence_n and_o approbation_n who_o daily_o defile_v himself_o who_o present_v to_o his_o view_n in_o a_o wicked_a course_n of_o life_n nothing_o but_o what_o be_v most_o offensive_a to_o the_o pure_a eye_n of_o his_o glory_n but_o than_o it_o shall_v be_v well_o consider_v by_o we_o who_o displeasure_n and_o anger_n it_o be_v that_o we_o incur_v it_o be_v that_o of_o the_o almighty_a god_n and_o the_o supreme_a disposer_n of_o all_o thing_n who_o can_v most_o easy_o revenge_v the_o affront_n which_o we_o offer_v he_o when_o he_o will_v who_o can_v afflict_v we_o as_o he_o please_v it_o be_v he_o upon_o who_o be_v our_o whole_a dependence_n for_o life_n and_o happiness_n without_o who_o favour_n we_o can_v never_o be_v happy_a in_o this_o world_n or_o the_o next_o the_o sinner_n may_v divert_v and_o deceive_v himself_o with_o the_o sensible_a enjoyment_n of_o this_o world_n while_o the_o divine_a patience_n spare_v he_o or_o miserable_a for_o ever_o according_a as_o we_o please_v or_o displease_v he_o now_o such_o be_v he_o who_o dislike_n and_o hatred_n the_o sinner_n do_v incur_v and_o bring_v upon_o himself_o by_o haunt_v and_o follow_v they_o every_o where_o mortal_a danger_n surround_v and_o attend_v they_o constant_o vengeance_n watch_v over_o they_o continual_o when_o we_o be_v tell_v that_o indignation_n and_o wrath_n tribulation_n and_o anguish_n shall_v be_v upon_o every_o soul_n that_o do_v evil_a as_o in_o rom._n 2._o 9_o we_o see_v reason_n to_o believe_v these_o thing_n and_o to_o conclude_v now_o to_o the_o business_n and_o pleasure_n of_o this_o life_n and_o refer_v their_o reformation_n and_o religion_n to_o old_a age._n and_o thus_o while_o they_o think_v they_o have_v much_o time_n to_o spend_v they_o squander_v away_o and_o lose_v much_o from_o their_o main_n concern_v and_o with_o their_o time_n they_o lose_v eternity_n and_o their_o soul_n too_o their_o time_n be_v spend_v and_o their_o day_n of_o salvation_n be_v over_o before_o they_o have_v secure_v and_o wrought_v out_o their_o salvation_n and_o death_n snatch_v many_o of_o they_o away_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o their_o worldly_a care_n and_o pleasure_n and_o so_o they_o be_v undo_v for_o ever_o to_o meet_v with_o and_o cure_v if_o it_o may_v be_v this_o error_n i_o shall_v insist_v a_o little_a upon_o these_o word_n of_o solomon_n wherein_o he_o intimate_v the_o unreasonableness_n and_o folly_n of_o delay_v to_o repent_v and_o be_v religious_a till_o old_a age_n though_o it_o be_v suppose_v that_o we_o may_v or_o though_o it_o can_v be_v certain_a that_o we_o shall_v live_v to_o old_a age._n we_o may_v reckon_v that_o the_o latter_a part_n of_o this_o verse_n be_v a_o reason_n and_o argument_n to_o enforce_v his_o advice_n in_o the_o former_a part_n of_o it_o and_o that_o his_o meaning_n be_v this_o remember_v now_o thy_o creator_n in_o the_o day_n of_o thy_o youth_n because_o the_o latter_a end_n of_o a_o long_a life_n will_v be_v evil_a day_n and_o such_o as_o you_o shall_v say_v i_o have_v no_o pleasure_n in_o they_o to_o be_v religious_a in_o youth_n will_v be_v the_o best_a preparation_n against_o the_o evil_a day_n to_o come_v and_o in_o those_o day_n you_o will_v need_v those_o consolation_n and_o advantage_n which_o a_o religious_a and_o virtuous_a course_n that_o have_v be_v before_o they_o will_v then_o afford_v many_o other_o argument_n be_v common_o insist_v upon_o by_o those_o that_o handle_v this_o text_n to_o persuade_v young_a person_n to_o mind_n religion_n and_o virtue_n but_o i_o shall_v set_v they_o all_o aside_o and_o insist_v upon_o this_o alone_a which_o seem_v chief_o if_o not_o only_o intend_v in_o the_o text._n to_o do_v this_o with_o still_o like_o a_o false_a prophet_n than_o embrace_v the_o truth_n and_o become_v mean_a among_o the_o jew_n but_o yet_o he_o wish_v for_o the_o happy_a end_n of_o the_o jew_n he_o will_v willing_o be_v reckon_v among_o they_o when_o he_o shall_v come_v to_o die_v that_o he_o may_v be_v a_o partaker_n in_o their_o felicity_n in_o the_o next_o world_n this_o be_v the_o sense_n of_o his_o mind_n and_o herein_o he_o speak_v also_o the_o mind_n of_o a_o great_a many_o other_o beside_o there_o be_v many_o in_o the_o world_n who_o will_v live_v the_o life_n of_o licentious_a sinner_n and_o yet_o at_o last_o will_v die_v the_o death_n of_o saint_n who_o will_v have_v the_o profit_n and_o pleasure_n of_o sin_n here_o and_o hereafter_o the_o reward_n of_o religion_n too_o and_o as_o a_o great_a many_o wish_v this_o so_o they_o think_v they_o have_v find_v out_o a_o expedient_a to_o obtain_v it_o and_o that_o be_v by_o a_o deathbed_n repentance_n it_o shall_v be_v the_o whole_a business_n of_o the_o present_a discourse_n to_o demonstrate_v the_o folly_n and_o danger_n of_o rely_v upon_o a_o deathbed_n repentance_n of_o wish_v or_o expect_v with_o this_o false_a prophet_n to_o live_v it_o be_v very_o uncertain_a and_o hazardous_a whether_o we_o shall_v die_v there_o or_o not_o but_o if_o we_o shall_v die_v there_o the_o sickness_n may_v be_v such_o as_o to_o give_v we_o no_o opportunity_n to_o repent_v there_o it_o may_v take_v away_o the_o use_n of_o reason_n may_v utter_o hinder_v all_o compose_v think_v we_o may_v die_v in_o convulsion_n in_o a_o stupid_a lethargy_n or_o in_o the_o rave_n of_o a_o fever_n or_o under_o such_o violent_a and_o rack_a pain_n as_o shall_v effectual_o hinder_v we_o from_o do_v any_o thing_n towards_o a_o happy_a departure_n thus_o he_o who_o will_v not_o repent_v before_o be_v not_o able_a to_o do_v it_o now_o he_o wilful_o lose_v all_o the_o time_n of_o repentance_n to_o the_o last_o minute_n of_o it_o and_o now_o he_o lose_v they_o too_o by_o his_o unfortunate_a distemper_n but_o how_o unreasonable_a be_v it_o for_o a_o man_n to_o throw_v away_o all_o his_o time_n to_o the_o last_o minute_n when_o he_o do_v not_o know_v whether_o he_o shall_v be_v capable_a of_o use_v they_o to_o his_o advantage_n or_o not_o 2._o let_v we_o consider_v how_o great_a inconvenience_n man_n put_v upon_o themselves_o at_o last_o who_o defer_v their_o repentance_n to_o a_o sick_a and_o die_a bed_n they_o perhaps_o now_o think_v themselves_o very_o wise_a and_o that_o they_o do_v well_o to_o put_v off_o all_o their_o sorrow_n to_o come_v together_o and_o to_o trouble_v they_o but_o once_o but_o alas_o when_o these_o do_v thus_o come_v together_o they_o will_v be_v force_v to_o conclude_v they_o be_v very_o foolish_a in_o so_o
