the_o same_o grow_v unsensible_a and_o the_o hand_n which_o be_v use_v to_o iron_n and_o nettle_n be_v not_o sensible_a of_o they_o so_o the_o frequent_a act_n of_o sin_n may_v suppress_v the_o inward_a sense_n of_o sin_v this_o be_v a_o easy_a observation_n and_o most_o true_a that_o much_o sin_v add_v to_o the_o strength_n of_o sin_n and_o disable_v the_o sense_n of_o a_o sinner_n sear_v so_o divers_a abuse_n the_o name_n of_o religion_n only_o to_o satisfy_v their_o beastly_a and_o damnable_a lust_n three_o be_o hypocrite_n may_v go_v very_o far_o and_o therefore_o far_a a_o hypocrite_n may_v go_v very_o far_a the_o more_o reason_n have_v we_o to_o see_v that_o our_o heart_n be_v upright_o in_o the_o general●_n i_o conceive_v that_o there_o be_v not_o any_o one_o external_a part_n of_o religion_n or_o duty_n into_o which_o the_o hypocrite_n may_v not_o only_o step_v but_o perhaps_o for_o show_v exceed_v the_o sincere_a and_o most_o upright_a christian_a what_o paul_n speak_v in_o another_o case_n of_o himself_o be_v they_o hebrew_n so_o be_o i_o be_v they_o israelites_n so_o be_o i_o be_v they_o the_o seed_n of_o abraham_n so_o be_o i_o 2_o cor._n 1._o 22._o that_o may_v the_o hypocrite_n say_v for_o his_o part_n in_o this_o case_n about_o the_o action_n and_o part_n of_o duty_n etc._n etc._n do_v the_o true_a christian_a hear_v so_o do_v i_o do_v he_o pray_v so_o do_v i_o do_v he_o shed_v tear_n so_o do_v i_o do_v he_o fast_o so_o do_v i_o do_v he_o give_v alm_n so_o do_v i_o do_v he_o show_v respect_n to_o the_o minister_n by_o salute_n and_o still_o the_o hypocrite_n keep_v up_o for_o duty_n to_o god_n i_o mean_v the_o external_a part_n of_o his_o worship_n in_o pray_v private_o public_o hear_v read_v preach_v yea_o and_o all_o these_o with_o some_o transient_a affection_n of_o joy_n all_o this_o may_v be_v in_o he_o for_o duty_n to_o man_n why_o a_o hypocrite_n may_v be_v as_o civil_a as_o just_a as_o fair_a ingenuous_a affable_a bountiful_a compassionate_a as_o any_o one_o that_o i_o know_v the_o pharisee_n who_o yet_o christ_n do_v condemn_v for_o very_a hypocrite_n yea_o even_o those_o selfsame_a pharisee_n be_v yet_o the_o punctilio_n of_o the_o time_n no_o person_n live_v be_v more_o exact_a they_o do_v tithe_v the_o very_a mint_n and_o cummin_n as_o if_o the_o will_v have_v observe_v the_o whole_a law_n to_o a_o
