burn_v up_o the_o impenitent_a sinner_n as_o fire_n do_v the_o stubble_n so_o it_o be_v a_o hard_a thing_n than_o many_o think_v it_o to_o be_v to_o win_v to_o god_n mercy_n and_o how_o shall_v this_o be_v remidy_v by_o what_o mean_n shall_v we_o get_v through_o this_o wall_n of_o fire_n true_o he_o who_o will_v mean_v to_o pass_v through_o fire_n have_v need_n to_o be_v well_o arm_v the_o man_n who_o preass_v to_o approach_v near_o to_o that_o invialable_a majesty_n who_o can_v abide_v no_o sort_n of_o uncleanness_n and_o will_v draw_v near_o to_o the_o throne_n of_o his_o grace_n must_v be_v well_o arm_v against_o the_o justice_n and_o wrath_n of_o god_n which_o debar_v sinner_n sure_o there_o be_v none_o armour_n in_o the_o world_n that_o can_v preserve_v we_o from_o that_o rage_a and_o consume_a fire_n of_o the_o justice_n and_o wrath_n of_o god_n but_o only_o the_o righteousness_n and_o satisfaction_n of_o jesus_n christ_n let_v a_o man_n use_v all_o the_o mean_n in_o the_o world_n and_o he_o be_v not_o find_v in_o christ_n he_o shall_v have_v none_o access_n to_o come_v through_o the_o justice_n and_o wrath_n of_o god_n to_o the_o throne_n of_o grace_n yea_o his_o look_v if_o he_o think_v much_o of_o himself_o he_o be_v one_o of_o the_o cruel_a persecuter_n that_o ever_o be_v in_o the_o church_n he_o be_v in_o a_o rage_n against_o christ_n behold_v brethren_n paul_n be_v not_o ashamed_a to_o paint_v out_o himself_o in_o his_o own_o colour_n and_o particular_o to_o confess_v his_o former_a evil_a deed_n and_o to_o registrate_n they_o to_o his_o own_o use_v all_o the_o day_n of_o their_o life-time_n to_o expone_fw-la they_o to_o cross_n that_o every_o day_n find_v more_o their_o want_n infirmity_n and_o lack_v of_o comfort_n in_o themselves_o cross_n in_o a_o wonderful_a manner_n look_v 2._o cor._n 11._o the_o lord_n lay_v manifold_a cross_n upon_o paul_n and_o when_o with_o tear_n he_o pray_v that_o the_o lord_n will_v take_v they_o disdain_v thyself_o and_o thou_o will_v be_v incline_v to_o judge_v charitable_o of_o a_o poor_a sinner_n thou_o will_v not_o be_v so_o sore_a and_o rigorous_a a_o censurer_n of_o other_o as_o thou_o be_v and_o if_o thou_o see_v what_o kind_n of_o stuff_n be_v within_o thyself_o howbeit_o it_o break_v not_o out_o thou_o will_v say_v now_o i_o see_v as_o great_a corruption_n in_o myself_o as_o in_o if_o it_o may_v stand_v with_o my_o honour_n and_o profit_n i_o will_v glorify_v he_o but_o if_o his_o honour_n and_o i_o stand_v not_o together_o i_o will_v chief_o have_v respect_n to_o my_o own_o honour_n so_o it_o will_v never_o be_v well_o till_o we_o get_v this_o canker_a self-love_n submit_v itself_o to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o it_o shall_v be_v the_o great_a endeavour_n that_o ever_o we_o shall_v have_v in_o this_o world_n to_o cast_v out_o this_o self-love_n that_o we_o may_v be_v content_a that_o god_n may_v be_v glorify_v although_o it_o be_v to_o our_o dishonour_n yea_o tho_o it_o be_v with_o our_o destruction_n it_o be_v not selfe-love_o selfe-loue_n that_o bring_v honour_n and_o glory_n only_a honour_n be_v of_o god_n &_o thou_o shall_v never_o get_v honour_n except_o thou_o cast_v away_o self-love_n that_o god_n may_v be_v glorify_v then_o to_o go_v forward_o paul_n must_v have_v something_o for_o he_o why_o he_o will_v be_v mad_a for_o god_n cause_n he_o relieve_v of_o their_o condemnation_n it_o be_v true_a the_o philosopher_n among_o the_o nation_n aspire_v to_o a_o wisdom_n and_o knowledge_n of_o god_n to_o know_v he_o and_o some_o of_o they_o labour_v to_o set_v down_o a_o science_n of_o he_o plato_n traveil_v much_o on_o this_o purpose_n and_o therefore_o he_o be_v call_v divine_a but_o all_o their_o knowledge_n be_v of_o god_n the_o creator_n as_o he_o create_v this_o world_n and_o by_o his_o providence_n govern_v it_o but_o will_v you_o speak_v of_o god_n the_o redeemer_n in_o his_o son_n jesus_n christ_n they_o have_v never_o such_o a_o thing_n as_o a_o thought_n of_o he_o and_o yet_o for_o all_o the_o business_n that_o they_o have_v about_o the_o creation_n and_o god_n the_o creator_n what_o be_v they_o fool_n and_o
