conscience_n forecast_v the_o worst_a for_o such_o a_o conscience_n to_o find_v peace_n by_o this_o act_n of_o faith_n cast_v itself_o upon_o christ_n this_o be_v more_o than_o can_v be_v do_v by_o simple_a nothing_o but_o when_o god_n come_v to_o make_v the_o heart_n believe_v he_o find_v opposition_n and_o rebellion_n he_o find_v man_n against_o himself_o he_o find_v the_o heart_n and_o conscience_n against_o itself_o he_o find_v opposition_n from_o satan_n that_o help_v man_n distrustful_a heart_n then_o all_o meet_v together_o affliction_n the_o sense_n of_o god_n anger_n and_o man_n guilty_a conscience_n now_o to_o make_v such_o a_o man_n believe_v be_v more_o than_o to_o create_v a_o world_n mercy_n and_o as_o god_n show_v more_o power_n so_o he_o show_v more_o mercy_n in_o the_o work_n of_o redemption_n then_o in_o the_o creation_n in_o the_o creation_n there_o he_o do_v good_a to_o a_o good_a man_n adam_n be_v create_v good_a and_o he_o shall_v have_v he_o stand_v we_o shall_v lose_v nothing_o but_o that_o that_o do_v we_o hurt_v that_o that_o we_o may_v well_o spare_v that_o that_o hinder_v our_o joy_n and_o comfort_n but_o affliction_n i_o say_v let_v we_o emperor_n that_o come_v to_o fearful_a and_o base_a end_n be_v there_o ever_o any_o man_n fierce_a against_o god_n and_o prosper_v say_v job._n be_v there_o ever_o any_o that_o set_v themselves_o against_o the_o church_n of_o god_n and_o prosper_v no_o no_o it_o be_v with_o the_o church_n as_o it_o be_v with_o christ_n to_o have_v look_v on_o christ_n hang_v and_o bleed_v on_o the_o cross_n and_o earth_n what_o be_v the_o reason_n the_o church_n be_v so_o abase_v thâ—n_o why_o if_o the_o church_n be_v not_o abase_v it_o can_v not_o be_v conform_v to_o christ._n christ_n that_o he_o may_v turn_v to_o dust_n until_o we_o rise_v again_o until_o christ_n come_v to_o be_v glorious_a in_o his_o saint_n if_o christ_n as_o i_o former_o say_v have_v show_v all_o his_o glory_n in_o his_o abasement_n he_o can_v never_o have_v suffer_v the_o devil_n himself_o will_v have_v do_v he_o no_o harm_n there_o have_v be_v no_o pretence_n the_o pharisee_n will_v never_o have_v persecute_v he_o rich_a in_o grace_n here_o and_o in_o glory_n hereafter_o and_o shall_v not_o i_o out_o of_o my_o riches_n give_v somewhat_o to_o the_o poor_a be_v it_o not_o equal_a christ_n from_o heaven_n come_v in_o my_o nature_n and_o flesh_n to_o visit_v i_o as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o song_n of_o zachary_n the_o day_n spring_n from_o on_o high_a have_v visit_v we_o and_o shall_v not_o i_o visit_v christ_n in_o his_o member_n he_o come_v from_o heaven_n to_o earth_n to_o take_v notice_n of_o my_o want_n and_o misery_n to_o do_v and_o suffer_v that_o that_o i_o shall_v have_v do_v and_o suffer_v he_o awny_a thing_n for_o other_o we_o shall_v not_o only_o do_v the_o deed_n but_o do_v it_o from_o a_o inward_a principle_n of_o love_n and_o mercy_n therefore_o the_o scripture_n phrase_n be_v pour_v out_o thy_o bowel_n and_o say_v s._n john_n if_o a_o man_n see_v his_o brother_n in_o need_n and_o pretend_v he_o love_v god_n and_o yet_o relieve_v he_o not_o how_o be_v there_o bowel_n in_o such_o a_o man_n and_o so_o in_o micah_n 6._o 6_o he_o have_v show_v thou_o oh_o man_n what_o be_v good_a to_o love_v mercy_n not_o only_o to_o be_v merciful_a to_o do_v work_n of_o mercy_n but_o to_o love_v it_o to_o do_v what_o we_o do_v out_o of_o love_n and_o affection_n and_o pour_v out_o thy_o heart_n to_o thy_o flesh_n as_o it_o be_v in_o i_o say_v to_o give_v the_o heart_n and_o affection_n when_o we_o do_v any_o thing_n or_o else_o we_o may_v give_v with_o the_o hand_n and_o deny_v with_o the_o heart_n a_o man_n may_v give_v a_o thing_n so_o untoward_o that_o one_o may_v see_v it_o come_v against_o his_o heart_n and_o will_n therefore_o let_v we_o labour_n to_o do_v that_o we_o do_v with_o our_o whole_a man_n especial_o from_o our_o heart_n and_o affection_n and_o bowel_n it_o be_v say_v of_o christ_n in_o the_o gospel_n when_o he_o see_v the_o people_n in_o misery_n his_o bowel_n yearn_v within_o he_o the_o work_n of_o grace_n and_o mercy_n in_o christ_n they_o come_v from_o his_o bowel_n first_o let_v we_o work_v our_o heart_n to_o pity_n and_o love_n and_o mercy_n first_o that_o it_o may_v come_v from_o the_o soul_n as_o well_o as_o from_o the_o outward_a man_n again_o we_o christ_n
