will_v actual_o find_v mercy_n amon_n they_o however_o if_o not_o he_o have_v the_o great_a stock_n of_o mercy_n to_o come_v for_o second_o the_o merciful_a shall_v obtain_v mercy_n from_o god_n hereafter_o and_o this_o do_v not_o depend_v upon_o so_o many_o casualty_n and_o such_o uncertain_a supposition_n as_o the_o other_o here_o it_o be_v only_o require_v that_o mercy_n and_o truth_n purgation_n and_o purification_n of_o soul_n as_o the_o pythagorean_n and_o platonist_n yet_o this_o be_v not_o teach_v or_o know_v in_o the_o common_a school_n of_o nature_n nor_o be_v it_o any_o where_o make_v the_o ordinary_a standard_n of_o morality_n the_o jewish_a religion_n as_o it_o present_v to_o the_o world_n a_o second_o and_o more_o correct_a edition_n of_o the_o law_n of_o nature_n so_o be_v it_o in_o this_o particular_a respect_n more_o perfect_a than_o the_o gentile_a morality_n there_o be_v in_o the_o moral_a law_n one_o special_a precept_n which_o direct_o concern_v purity_n of_o heart_n but_o yet_o there_o be_v a_o great_a defect_n even_o here_o too_o because_o though_o there_o be_v a_o prohibition_n of_o inward_a concupiscence_n yet_o it_o have_v no_o penal_a sanction_n annex_v to_o it_o every_o other_o precept_n be_v so_o guard_v as_o to_o be_v able_a to_o revenge_v itself_o upon_o those_o who_o transgress_v it_o idolatry_n be_v punish_v perjury_n be_v punish_v high_a degree_n of_o virtue_n and_o consequent_o that_o it_o be_v entitle_v to_o a_o high_a degree_n of_o glory_n which_o the_o scripture_n also_o express_o make_v to_o be_v the_o portion_n of_o martyr_n who_o be_v say_v to_o endure_v torture_n and_o not_o to_o accept_v of_o deliverance_n 11._o that_o they_o may_v obtain_v a_o better_a resurrection_n a_o better_a resurrection_n that_o be_v a_o resurrection_n to_o a_o better_a state_n of_o happiness_n that_o be_v the_o only_a measure_n whereby_o one_o resurrection_n may_v be_v say_v to_o be_v better_o than_o another_o and_o say_v the_o angel_n to_o st._n john_n concern_v those_o who_o be_v clothe_v with_o white_a robe_n and_o have_v palm_n in_o their_o hand_n these_o be_v they_o which_o come_v out_o of_o 7.14_o great_a tribulation_n as_o under_o the_o roman_a emperor_n some_o fraudulent_a by_o heretic_n as_o arius_n nestorius_n etc._n etc._n and_o some_o of_o a_o mix_a nature_n consist_v both_o of_o fraud_n and_o violence_n when_o both_o temporal_a and_o spiritual_a power_n do_v combine_v together_o as_o as_o now_o in_o the_o papal_a see_v against_o the_o lord_n and_o his_o christ._n i_o say_v we_o shall_v learn_v from_o hence_o not_o to_o censure_v the_o way_n of_o god_n for_o this_o nor_o to_o charge_v he_o foolish_o since_o there_o be_v so_o plentiful_a a_o reward_n lay_v up_o for_o those_o that_o suffer_v in_o and_o sweetness_n be_v willing_a to_o deliver_v his_o law_n in_o the_o most_o indear_v and_o charm_a manner_n that_o can_v possible_o be_v that_o he_o may_v the_o better_o recommend_v both_o himself_o and_o his_o doctrine_n to_o the_o good_a will_n of_o his_o auditor_n and_o reconcile_v they_o through_o the_o love_n of_o the_o former_a to_o the_o obedience_n of_o the_o latter_a which_o be_v a_o very_a laudable_a affectation_n of_o popularity_n
