the_o soul_n precious_a it_o be_v not_o redeem_v with_o corruptible_a thing_n as_o silver_n and_o gold_n but_o with_o the_o precious_a blood_n of_o christ_n who_o give_v himself_o for_o our_o sin_n that_o he_o may_v deliver_v we_o from_o this_o present_a evil_a world_n god_n never_o intend_v the_o whole_a world_n to_o be_v the_o portion_n of_o every_o man_n god_n only_o be_v man_n portion_n and_o man_n be_v god_n portion_n why_o shall_v any_o man_n then_o wrong_v that_o noble_a part_n within_o he_o his_o soul_n as_o to_o seek_v pursue_v and_o follow_v after_o such_o beggarly_a thing_n as_o riches_n and_o honour_n and_o pleasure_n and_o take_v up_o with_o they_o as_o his_o only_a hope_n and_o happiness_n which_o every_o wicked_a worldling_n do_v the_o mean_a while_n neglect_v and_o make_v light_n of_o the_o one_o thing_n necessary_a seek_v to_o enjoy_v god_n and_o christ_n and_o grace_n and_o glory_n in_o who_o and_o from_o who_o alone_o they_o may_v infallible_o have_v the_o true_a durable_a unsearchable_a satisfy_v everlasting_a riches_n honour_n and_o pleasure_n oh_o do_v but_o the_o great_a one_o of_o this_o world_n consider_v and_o know_v what_o deceitful_a bait_n snare_n and_o temptation_n these_o worldly_a dignity_n pleasure_n and_o treasure_n through_o god_n permissive_a providence_n and_o satan_n subtlety_n prove_v to_o their_o lustful_a and_o deceitful_a heart_n will_v they_o so_o eager_o hunt_v after_o they_o and_o undo_v their_o body_n and_o soul_n in_o the_o pursuit_n of_o they_o true_o there_o be_v no_o evil_a in_o they_o but_z through_o a_o evil_a unbelieve_a heart_n there_o be_v much_o evil_n by_o they_o search_v the_o scripture_n and_o see_v how_o many_o rich_a and_o honourable_a and_o pleasurable_a person_n be_v go_v or_o will_v go_v to_o heaven_n not_o many_o wise_a man_n after_o the_o flesh_n not_o many_o mighty_a not_o many_o noble_a be_v call_v god_n that_o have_v choose_v the_o poor_a of_o this_o world_n rich_a in_o faith_n have_v not_o choose_v the_o rich_a in_o this_o world_n to_o be_v poor_a in_o faith_n there_o be_v a_o sore_a evil_n under_o the_o sun_n namely_o riches_n keep_v for_o the_o owner_n thereof_o to_o their_o hurt_n do_v the_o rich_a in_o this_o world_n in_o scripture_n call_v the_o man_n of_o the_o world_n which_o have_v their_o portion_n in_o this_o life_n well_o consider_v how_o little_a their_o riches_n will_v profit_v they_o in_o the_o day_n of_o wrath_n they_o will_v not_o be_v so_o high-minded_a nor_o trust_v in_o uncertain_a riches_n but_o in_o the_o live_a god_n who_o give_v they_o rich_o all_o thing_n to_o enjoy_v they_o will_v do_v good_a be_v rich_a in_o good_a work_n ready_a to_o distribute_v willing_a to_o communicate_v that_o they_o may_v lay_v up_o in_o store_n for_o themselves_o a_o good_a foundation_n against_o the_o time_n to_o come_v that_o they_o may_v lay_v hold_n on_o eternal_a life_n which_o be_v the_o worst_a i_o wish_v they_o and_o the_o best_a use_n they_o can_v put_v their_o uncertain_a riches_n unto_o oh_o how_o many_o be_v and_o will_v be_v undo_v for_o ever_o by_o a_o deceitful_a world_n a_o deceitful_a devil_n and_o a_o deceitful_a heart_n from_o which_o i_o beseech_v the_o lord_n to_o deliver_v our_o most_o gracious_a sovereign_n the_o king_n and_o his_o kingdom_n that_o we_o may_v all_o as_o one_o man_n with_o oneness_n and_o trueness_n of_o heart_n set_v ourselves_o according_a to_o our_o solemn_a engagement_n in_o our_o christian_a covenant_n unfeigned_o to_o renounce_v the_o world_n the_o flesh_n and_o the_o devil_n which_o must_v first_o be_v do_v before_o we_o can_v obey_v this_o heavenly_a counsel_n command_v and_o proclamation_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n in_o seek_v first_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n and_o his_o righteousness_n which_o let_v every_o one_o of_o we_o account_v it_o our_o great_a duty_n choice_a work_n chief_a interest_n and_o high_a dignity_n to_o be_v exercise_v therein_o let_v we_o as_o we_o have_v opportunity_n exhort_v one_o another_o daily_a while_o it_o be_v call_v to_o day_n lest_o any_o of_o we_o be_v harden_v through_o the_o deceitfulness_n of_o sin_n satan_n and_o the_o world_n to_o make_v light_n
