meditate_v upon_o it_o or_o think_v their_o time_n ill_o spend_v in_o read_v it_o can_v they_o be_v better_o employ_v than_o in_o acquaint_v themselves_o with_o god_n will_n and_o search_v how_o they_o may_v fullfil_v it_o how_o they_o may_v pass_v through_o this_o troublesome_a and_o vexatious_a world_n blameless_a that_o they_o may_v commence_v a_o happy_a and_o bless_a eternity_n what_o can_v be_v compare_v with_o the_o soul_n and_o what_o loss_n so_o irreparable_a as_o the_o loss_n of_o it_o insomuch_o that_o our_o saviour_n say_v what_o will_v it_o avail_v a_o man_n if_o he_o have_v the_o world_n wealth_n every_o thing_n that_o be_v great_a good_a and_o desirable_a in_o it_o and_o lose_v his_o soul_n all_o that_o he_o have_v can_v make_v he_o satisfaction_n or_o repair_v his_o damage_n what_o therefore_o shall_v be_v every_o man_n study_n so_o much_o as_o to_o provide_v for_o the_o after_o state_n of_o his_o soul_n to_o read_v and_o ponder_v the_o way_n and_o mean_v he_o must_v use_v to_o prepare_v his_o soul_n for_o the_o embrace_n of_o the_o father_n of_o spirit_n how_o melancholy_a soever_o man_n may_v think_v it_o be_v to_o fill_v their_o mind_n with_o the_o thought_n of_o death_n judgement_n and_o eternity_n yet_o when_o they_o come_v to_o die_v they_o will_v earnest_o wish_v themselves_o well_o provide_v for_o their_o voyage_n into_o another_o world_n let_v they_o therefore_o lose_v no_o time_n in_o health_n but_o read_v diligent_o meditate_v serious_o and_o practice_v conscionable_o the_o word_n of_o god_n which_o by_o divine_a grace_n and_o their_o own_o endeavour_n will_v make_v they_o wise_a unto_o salvation_n final_o and_o to_o conclude_v as_o we_o be_v christian_n let_v we_o have_v a_o special_a regard_n to_o god_n word_n and_o with_o the_o psalmist_n hide_v it_o in_o our_o heart_n that_o we_o may_v not_o sin_v against_o our_o maker_n let_v it_o be_v our_o counsellor_n our_o guide_n and_o director_n that_o all_o our_o action_n word_n and_o thought_n may_v be_v pure_a and_o blameless_a and_o that_o we_o may_v thus_o order_v our_o step_n let_v we_o pray_v as_o our_o church_n o_o bless_a lord_n who_o have_v cause_v all_o holy_a scripture_n to_o be_v write_v for_o our_o learning_n grant_v that_o we_o may_v in_o such-wise_a hear_v they_o read_z mark_v learn_v and_o inward_o digest_v they_o that_o by_o patience_n and_o comfort_n of_o thy_o holy_a word_n we_o may_v embrace_v and_o ever_o hold_v fast_o the_o bless_a hope_n of_o everlasting_a life_n which_o thou_o have_v give_v we_o in_o thy_o son_n jesus_n
