intercession_n three_o for_o his_o prophetical_a office_n if_o we_o take_v it_o there_o also_o we_o shall_v find_v that_o christ_n have_v the_o notion_n of_o a_o ladder_n and_o as_o he_o convey_v out_o prayer_n and_o desire_n to_o god_n so_o he_o do_v likewise_o carry_v god_n word_n and_o will_v to_o we_o joh._n 1_o 18._o no_o man_n have_v see_v god_n at_o any_o time_n the_o only_o beget_v subordinate_a as_o it_o refer_v to_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n and_o every_o particular_a part_n and_o member_n of_o it_o the_o church_n be_v either_o collective_o take_v or_o distributive_o collective_o in_o the_o whole_a company_n of_o believer_n or_o distributive_o in_o every_o single_a and_o distinct_a christian_a this_o ladder_n it_o be_v a_o representation_n in_o part_n of_o jacob_n himself_o and_o that_o both_o mystical_o and_o personal_o mystical_o as_o he_o be_v a_o type_n of_o the_o whole_a church_n at_o large_a and_o personal_o as_o he_o be_v such_o a_o man_n in_o particular_a first_o we_o will_v take_v it_o in_o the_o first_o sense_n for_o the_o church_n of_o god_n consider_v at_o large_a that_o be_v establish_v in_o scripture_n call_v by_o the_o name_n of_o jacob_n and_o may_v very_o well_o have_v the_o notion_n of_o this_o ladder_n fasten_v upon_o it_o for_o it_o reach_v also_o from_o earth_n to_o heaven_n in_o the_o militant_a part_n and_o the_o triumphant_a the_o body_n on_o earth_n and_o the_o head_n in_o heaven_n the_o church_n it_o be_v earth_n as_o it_o be_v remove_v and_o transplant_v into_o heaven_n believer_n they_o be_v take_v out_o of_o the_o world_n and_o they_o be_v first_o send_v into_o that_o before_o they_o be_v take_v into_o a_o better_a place_n born_n first_o from_o below_o and_o then_o bear_v from_o above_o this_o be_v the_o state_n and_o condition_n of_o the_o church_n in_o regard_n whereof_o this_o expression_n do_v suit_n unto_o it_o second_o take_v it_o more_o restrain_o for_o every_o particular_a christian_a and_o so_o it_o agree_v with_o jacob_n personal_o as_o this_o ladder_n which_o be_v here_o intend_a in_o the_o occasional_a scope_n of_o it_o the_o lord_n by_o this_o vision_n of_o the_o angel_n of_o descend_v upon_o this_o ladder_n wherein_o again_o be_v two_o particular_n more_o first_o the_o person_n mention_v and_o second_o the_o motion_n of_o those_o person_n the_o person_n mention_v they_o be_v the_o angel_n of_o god_n the_o motion_n of_o these_o person_n that_o be_v that_o they_o ascend_v and_o descend_v reciprocal_o first_o for_o the_o person_n themselves_o these_o be_v here_o express_v to_o be_v the_o angel_n of_o god_n which_o they_o be_v call_v upon_o a_o threefold_a account_n first_o from_o their_o creation_n as_o make_v by_o god_n second_o from_o their_o qualification_n as_o be_v make_v like_o unto_o god_n holy_a angel_n and_o three_o from_o their_o employment_n and_o special_o ministry_n as_o be_v continual_o in_o attendance_n upon_o god_n and_o that_o be_v he_o emphatical_o and_o he_o that_o be_v he_o exclusive_o in_o opposition_n to_o all_o other_o beside_o for_o we_o must_v know_v that_o there_o be_v three_o sort_n of_o peacemaker_n which_o though_o they_o may_v serve_v to_o give_v quietness_n yet_o in_o conclusion_n can_v free_v from_o trouble_n first_o a_o man_n self_n second_o satan_n three_o false-teacher_n and_o flatter_a friend_n first_o a_o man_n corrupt_a self_n there_o be_v many_o who_o their_o heart_n do_v not_o condemn_v they_o but_o it_o be_v their_o heart_n which_o be_v blind_v and_o harden_v with_o self-love_n and_o the_o deceitfulness_n of_o sin_n and_o these_o they_o promise_v freedom_n from_o trouble_n but_o they_o be_v not_o able_a to_o give_v it_o nay_o rather_o do_v involve_v in_o it_o as_o you_o may_v see_v in_o deut._n 29.19_o 20._o he_o that_o when_o he_o hear_v the_o word_n of_o the_o law_n bless_v himself_o in_o his_o heart_n say_v i_o shall_v have_v peace_n though_o i_o walk_v in_o the_o imagination_n of_o my_o heart_n to_o add_v drunkenness_n to_o thirst_n what_o be_v the_o issue_n of_o such_o a_o person_n why_o you_o shall_v see_v in_o the_o word_n that_o follow_v the_o lord_n it_o be_v in_o his_o hand_n and_o way_n as_o he_o have_v sometime_o his_o false-terrour_n so_o he_o have_v also_o his_o false-peace_n he_o lull_v people_n many_o time_n asleep_a in_o the_o way_n of_o sin_n that_o so_o he_o may_v so_o much_o the_o deep_o involve_v and_o plunge_v they_o in_o they_o he_o persuade_v they_o that_o all_o be_v well_o with_o they_o and_o that_o they_o have_v need_v to_o inquire_v into_o themselves_o when_o it_o be_v far_o otherwise_o now_o alas_o this_o be_v also_o far_o enough_o from_o the_o prevent_n of_o trouble_n nay_o indeed_o it_o rather_o increase_v it_o which_o he_o also_o know_v well_o enough_o and_o therefore_o so_o dispose_v of_o it_o satan_n never_o give_v any_o man_n quietness_n but_o that_o occasional_o from_o that_o quietness_n he_o may_v fill_v he_o with_o great_a trouble_n and_o perplexity_n afterward_o to_o this_o we_o may_v add_v in_o the_o three_o place_n false-teacher_n and_o flatter_a friend_n which_o cry_v peace_n peace_n and_o sow_v pillow_n under_o man_n elbow_n when_o their_o condition_n be_v never_o so_o bad_a these_o give_v quietness_n too_o but_o it_o be_v a_o quietness_n of_o that_o nature_n which_o we_o have_v a_o great_a deal_n better_o be_v without_o such_o as_o these_o the_o lord_n tell_v be_v guilty_a of_o the_o blood_n of_o the_o soul_n of_o his_o people_n etc._n etc._n now_o all_o these_o three_o sort_n of_o of_o peacemaker_n be_v in_o a_o special_a manner_n to_o be_v avoid_v and_o decline_v by_o we_o and_o we_o shall_v labour_v to_o have_v such_o a_o quietness_n in_o we_o as_o be_v give_v by_o god_n himself_o and_o none_o but_o he_o where_o the_o question_n yet_o further_o will_v be_v as_o pertinent_a to_o the_o matter_n in_o hand_n how_o we_o may_v attain_v hereunto_o how_o we_o may_v put_v ourselves_o into_o such_o a_o posture_n and_o condition_n as_o wherein_o god_n may_v give_v we_o that_o peace_n and_o quietness_n which_o will_v uphold_v we_o and_o preserve_v we_o from_o trouble_n and_o here_o we_o may_v brief_o observe_v and_o take_v notice_n of_o these_o follow_a particular_n for_o our_o best_a direction_n first_o we_o must_v acquaint_v ourselves_o with_o god_n be_v such_o as_o be_v sure_a to_o know_v he_o and_o be_v know_v of_o he_o this_o quietness_n we_o speak_v of_o belong_v not_o to_o stranger_n but_o to_o friend_n and_o special_a acquaintance_n job_n 22.21_o acquaint_v now_o thyself_o with_o he_o and_o be_v at_o peace_n mark_v how_o these_o two_o be_v join_v together_o and_o the_o one_o as_o the_o consequent_a of_o the_o other_o acquaintance_n with_o god_n and_o peace_n to_o signify_v thus_o much_o unto_o we_o that_o this_o latter_a follow_v from_o the_o former_a if_o any_o one_o will_v have_v peace_n from_o god_n they_o must_v have_v acquaintance_n with_o he_o they_o must_v know_v he_o who_o he_o be_v therefore_o all_o ignorant_a person_n which_o have_v no_o knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o his_o way_n but_o live_v like_o heathen_n and_o without_o god_n in_o the_o world_n they_o can_v have_v no_o true_a quietness_n or_o peace_n at_o all_o in_o their_o heart_n they_o may_v be_v senseless_a and_o stupid_a and_o secure_a and_o un-apprehensive_a of_o the_o miserable_a condition_n which_o they_o be_v in_o but_o for_o true_a peace_n they_o know_v not_o what_o it_o mean_v nor_o be_v never_o as_o yet_o partaker_n of_o it_o second_o to_o our_o acquaintance_n with_o god_n we_o must_v likewise_o join_v converse_n and_o communion_n also_o those_o which_o be_v acquaint_v with_o god_n and_o have_v some_o particular_a interest_n in_o he_o yet_o they_o may_v not_o have_v that_o quietness_n they_o shall_v have_v for_o want_v of_o communion_n with_o he_o there_o be_v strangeness_n of_o person_n and_o there_o be_v a_o strangeness_n of_o conversation_n and_o either_o of_o these_o will_v cause_v a_o disquietness_n and_o unpeaceableness_n of_o spirit_n wherever_o they_o be_v the_o first_o that_o be_v proper_a to_o carnal_a and_o unregenerate_a person_n the_o second_o that_o be_v incident_a even_o to_o god_n own_o child_n themselves_o those_o which_o be_v not_o stranger_n in_o the_o former_a sense_n but_o have_v some_o knowledge_n and_o acquaintance_n with_o he_o yet_o they_o may_v be_v stranger_n to_o god_n in_o the_o latter_a sense_n and_o be_v much_o alienate_v and_o divert_v from_o he_o as_o friend_n temporal_a the_o spiritual_a or_o strength_n of_o grace_n that_o be_v devour_v by_o strange_a god_n the_o natural_a or_o strength_n of_o temper_n that_o be_v devour_v by_o strange_a woman_n the_o temporal_a or_o strength_n of_o estate_n and_o power_n and_o worldly_a subsistence_n that_o be_v devour_v by_o strange_a enemy_n or_o such_o ally_n and_o confederate_n as_o be_v alien_n and_o stranger_n to_o they_o here_o be_v the_o full_a and_o perfect_a connexion_n of_o these_o thing_n one_o with_o another_o and_o the_o order_n in_o which_o they_o lie_v in_o the_o text_n now_o before_o we_o we_o begin_v with_o the_o first_o stranger_n have_v devour_v his_o strength_n that_o be_v strange_a god_n have_v devour_v his_o grace_n false_a and_o idolatrous_a worship_n which_o he_o have_v for_o a_o while_n addict_v himself_o to_o have_v eat_v out_o the_o very_a strength_n and_o marrow_n of_o religion_n and_o piety_n in_o he_o so_o that_o he_o have_v nothing_o leave_v he_o but_o the_o very_a outside_n and_o form_n of_o godliness_n yea_o hardly_o that_o this_o be_v one_o thing_n to_o be_v take_v notice_n of_o by_o we_o and_o of_o very_o great_a consequence_n that_o whatever's_a corrupt_a or_o amiss_o in_o religion_n it_o do_v take_v out_o the_o very_a heart_n of_o religion_n in_o those_o which_o do_v give_v themselves_o to_o it_o or_o partake_v in_o it_o this_o be_v true_a not_o only_o of_o idolatry_n and_o the_o gross_a kind_n of_o superstition_n as_o be_v here_o principal_o intend_v but_o also_o as_o well_o such_o as_o we_o may_v take_v notice_n of_o of_o formality_n and_o a_o customary_a service_n of_o god_n in_o the_o duty_n and_o exercise_n of_o christianity_n which_o be_v perform_v by_o we_o it_o be_v not_o only_o so_o in_o strange_a god_n but_o in_o strange_a fire_n as_o it_o be_v with_o nadab_n and_o abihu_n that_o be_v in_o the_o application_n of_o it_o with_o strange_a affection_n and_o a_o undue_a frame_n of_o heart_n and_o spirit_n in_o those_o sacrifice_n which_o we_o offer_v up_o unto_o the_o lord_n and_o for_o as_o much_o as_o it_o be_v more_o pertinent_a and_o seasonable_a i_o will_v now_o fasten_v upon_o this_o to_o show_v how_o this_o strange_a kind_n of_o worship_n not_o only_o strange_a for_o the_o object_n and_o matter_n of_o it_o as_o it_o be_v in_o flat_a and_o absolute_a idolatry_n but_o also_o strange_a for_o the_o manner_n and_o carriage_n of_o it_o as_o it_o be_v in_o formal_a and_o customary_a performance_n it_o do_v devour_v the_o very_a strength_n of_o piety_n and_o religion_n in_o those_o person_n which_o do_v give_v themselves_o to_o it_o or_o content_a and_o please_v themselves_o with_o it_o or_o allow_v and_o favour_v themselves_o in_o it_o this_o be_v the_o point_n now_o in_o hand_n look_v as_o it_o be_v on_o the_o other_o side_n that_o hearty_a and_o lively_a service_n and_o a_o spiritual_a use_n of_o the_o ordinance_n it_o do_v keep_v up_o grace_v alive_a in_o the_o heart_n and_o increase_v the_o habit_n and_o principle_n of_o it_o so_o fomal_a and_o customary_a do_v abate_v it_o and_o diminish_v it_o and_o take_v from_o it_o and_o make_v it_o less_o and_o cause_v a_o very_a great_a decay_n of_o spiritual_a vigour_n in_o those_o which_o yield_v thereunto_o when_o man_n come_v to_o the_o ordinance_n of_o god_n careless_o and_o hand_n over_o head_n or_o behave_v themselves_o slight_o and_o perfunctory_o and_o superficial_o and_o negligent_o in_o they_o they_o do_v many_o time_n
our_o heart_n do_v thereby_o bring_v we_o to_o glory_n and_o make_v we_o partaker_n of_o his_o heavenly_a kingdom_n and_o so_o they_o be_v all_o upon_o the_o point_n one_o and_o the_o same_o and_z according_o have_v the_o name_n of_o one_o thing_n put_v here_o upon_o they_o as_o the_o several_a link_n of_o a_o chain_n make_v up_o but_o one_o chain_n even_o so_o be_v it_o here_o in_o this_o particular_a but_o second_o how_o be_v this_o alone_z say_v to_o be_v needful_a we_o know_v that_o there_o be_v many_o other_o thing_n that_o we_o have_v need_n of_o beside_o this_o we_o know_v that_o we_o have_v need_n of_o food_n and_o raiment_n and_o employment_n and_o thing_n conduce_v to_o these_o as_o our_o saviour_n tell_v his_o disciple_n in_o another_o place_n your_o heavenly_a father_n know_v that_o you_o have_v need_n of_o all_o these_o thing_n as_o it_o be_v in_o matth._n 6.32_o how_o then_o do_v we_o confine_v it_o to_o religion_n as_o if_o nothing_o be_v needful_a but_o only_o proper_o do_v any_o thing_n without_o it_o grace_n it_o be_v a_o general_a and_o universal_a qualification_n it_o fit_v a_o man_n for_o every_o state_n and_o condition_n which_o he_o be_v subject_a unto_o for_o want_n and_o for_o abundance_n for_o prosperity_n and_o for_o adversity_n for_o life_n and_o for_o death_n it_o manage_n all_o calling_n and_o all_o providence_n and_o all_o affair_n have_v choose_v it_o shall_v never_o be_v take_v away_o from_o she_o it_o be_v eternal_a both_o in_o regard_n of_o the_o enjoyment_n and_o in_o regard_n of_o the_o consequent_a in_o regard_n of_o religion_n to_o get_v a_o stock_n of_o grace_n and_o holiness_n to_o work_v out_o our_o own_o salvation_n to_o lay_v up_o in_o store_n to_o ourselves_o a_o good_a foundation_n against_o the_o time_n to_o come_v lay_v hold_n on_o eternal_a life_n as_o our_o bless_a saviour_n say_v of_o himself_o to_o this_o end_n be_v i_o bear_v and_o for_o this_o cause_n come_v i_o into_o the_o
affection_n and_o heart_n off_o from_o the_o principle_n but_o three_o especial_o let_v we_o go_v to_o christ_n himself_o to_o hold_v we_o in_o his_o hand_n joh._n 15.4_o abide_v in_o i_o and_o i_o it_o be_v below_o they_o and_o both_o of_o these_o be_v the_o ground_n of_o this_o point_n here_o in_o hand_n why_o the_o greek_n count_v christ_n crucify_v foolishness_n it_o be_v so_o high_a a_o thing_n as_o their_o carnality_n can_v reach_v it_o and_o so_o low_a as_o their_o wisdom_n can_v condescend_v unto_o it_o first_o it_o be_v a_o thing_n which_o be_v above_o they_o scientia_fw-la neminem_fw-la inimicum_fw-la habet_fw-la praeter_fw-la ignorantem_fw-la we_o see_v it_o be_v a_o usual_a practice_n for_o man_n to_o speak_v evil_a of_o those_o thing_n which_o they_o know_v not_o and_o that_o which_o they_o have_v not_o wit_n to_o fathom_n they_o have_v common_o malice_n to_o disparage_v thus_o it_o be_v here_o in_o this_o particular_a christ_n crucify_v and_o the_o deep_a mystery_n of_o religion_n they_o be_v beyond_o the_o reach_n of_o carnal_a understanding_n and_o they_o know_v not_o what_o to_o make_v of_o they_o second_o it_o be_v a_o thing_n which_o be_v below_o they_o at_o least_o as_o they_o take_v it_o to_o be_v in_o regard_n of_o the_o contradiction_n which_o it_o seem_v to_o carry_v to_o natural_a reason_n and_o the_o outward_a pomp_n and_o gloriousness_n of_o the_o world_n a_o saviour_n and_o yet_o crucify_v be_v so_o difficult_a a_o thing_n in_o the_o account_n and_o apprehension_n of_o these_o gentile_n that_o as_o on_o the_o one_o side_n it_o puzzle_v their_o wit_n so_o on_o the_o other_o side_n it_o provoke_v their_o scorn_n now_o to_o open_v this_o further_a unto_o we_o there_o be_v three_o thing_n in_o christ_n crucify_v which_o seem_v foolishness_n to_o a_o proud_a carnal_a heart_n and_o which_o according_o be_v so_o to_o these_o gentile_n first_o the_o mystery_n as_o i_o say_v itself_o that_o he_o which_o be_v a_o you_o not_o that_o the_o unrighteous_a shall_v not_o inherit_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n be_v not_o deceive_v etc._n etc._n and_o gal._n 5.21_o speak_v of_o the_o work_n of_o the_o flesh_n of_o the_o which_o i_o tell_v you_o before_o as_o i_o have_v also_o tell_v you_o in_o time_n past_a that_o they_o which_o do_v such_o thing_n shall_v not_o inherit_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n therefore_o let_v the_o concomitant_n of_o it_o and_o in_o the_o sad_a and_o pernicious_a effect_n which_o be_v death_n and_o damnation_n itself_o which_o though_o man_n perceive_v not_o present_o yet_o at_o last_o they_o shall_v find_v to_o their_o cost_n if_o they_o take_v not_o better_a care_n to_o prevent_v it_o as_o the_o apostle_n peter_n speak_v of_o they_o their_o judgement_n now_o of_o a_o long_a time_n linger_v not_o and_o their_o damnation_n slumber_v not_o let_v we_o not_o look_v upon_o these_o thing_n as_o word_n and_o notion_n and_o expression_n as_o bugbear_n to_o scare_v child_n but_o as_o reality_n and_o unquestionable_a truth_n and_o let_v we_o labour_n to_o find_v the_o power_n and_o efficacy_n of_o they_o upon_o our_o own_o heart_n it_o be_v better_a to_o hear_v of_o they_o than_o to_o feel_v they_o and_o to_o feel_v they_o now_o in_o the_o conscience_n by_o be_v affect_v and_o wrought_v upon_o by_o they_o than_o to_o feel_v they_o hereafter_o after_o another_o manner_n as_o all_o such_o shall_v which_o now_o make_v nothing_o of_o they_o let_v all_o which_o have_v be_v say_v make_v we_o so_o much_o the_o more_o out_o of_o love_n with_o sin_n and_o if_o one_o argument_n alone_o will_v not_o do_v it_o let_v we_o take_v they_o all_o together_o as_o the_o holy_a ghost_n do_v here_o offer_v they_o to_o we_o here_o be_v a_o threesold_a cord_n which_o theresore_n be_v not_o easy_o break_v and_o if_o one_o or_o two_o shall_v fail_v yet_o the_o other_o will_v make_v amends_o for_o the_o rest_n those_o which_o have_v a_o mind_n to_o sin_n yet_o if_o it_o appear_v to_o be_v any_o prejudice_n to_o their_o profit_n that_o they_o get_v no_o good_a nor_o benefit_n by_o it_o it_o may_v be_v here_o they_o will_v be_v restrain_v now_o for_o this_o consider_v say_v the_o apostle_n that_o there_o be_v no_o such_o sad_a fruit_n in_o it_o other_o there_o be_v which_o do_v not_o stand_v upon_o their_o prosit_fw-la but_o their_o honour_n that_o go_v near_o unto_o they_o and_o they_o be_v loath_a to_o forfeit_v their_o credit_n and_o reputation_n now_o for_o this_o consider_v that_o these_o thing_n bring_v shame_n whereof_o you_o be_v now_o ashamed_a a_o three_o there_o be_v which_o be_v not_o move_v yet_o they_o care_v neither_o for_o profit_v no_o honour_n so_o they_o may_v have_v their_o pleasure_n and_o safety_n and_o ease_n but_o their_o skin_n that_o then_o when_o you_o be_v unregenerate_a than_o you_o be_v in_o your_o natural_a condition_n then_o when_o you_o be_v at_o the_o present_a unconvert_v and_o as_o yet_o not_o bring_v home_o to_o god_n what_o fruit_n have_v you_o then_o whatever_o have_v be_v say_v of_o sin_n it_o may_v be_v apply_v in_o this_o a_o unregenerate_a condition_n be_v a_o unfruitful_a condition_n a_o shameful_a condition_n a_o dead_a and_o mortal_a condition_n all_o the_o time_n that_o any_o man_n spend_v and_o live_v only_o in_o that_o he_o do_v but_o lose_v his_o time_n and_o run_v further_o upon_o the_o score_n with_o god_n for_o a_o back-reckoning_a hereafter_o we_o be_v all_o by_o nature_n the_o child_n of_o wrath_n ephes_n 2.3_o what_o be_v the_o improvement_n which_o be_v to_o be_v make_v of_o priest_n they_o be_v prohibit_v the_o touch_v of_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v unclean_a and_o so_o be_v christian_n careful_a to_o keep_v themselves_o unspotted_a of_o the_o world_n three_o as_o to_o the_o teach_n and_o instruct_v of_o other_o in_o the_o communion_n of_o saint_n the_o priest_n lip_n shall_v preserve_v knowledge_n mal._n 2.7_o and_o so_o shall_v every_o christian_a also_o in_o his_o way_n and_o within_o his_o compass_n parent_n and_o master_n of_o family_n shall_v be_v thus_o far_a priest_n in_o they_o as_o with_o abraham_n to_o teach_v their_o child_n and_o their_o household_n after_o they_o gen._n 18.19_o etc._n etc._n four_o as_o to_o the_o offer_v up_o of_o themselves_o to_o god_n they_o must_v be_v priest_n in_o this_o respect_n also_o the_o priest_n they_o the_o bride_n say_v come_v that_o be_v the_o church_n by_o the_o secret_a suggestion_n and_o instigation_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n towards_o she_o do_v invite_v he_o and_o call_v for_o he_o and_o influence_n of_o his_o presence_n as_o join_v with_o the_o bride_n of_o his_o influence_n as_o assistant_n unto_o she_o and_o help_v and_o enable_v of_o she_o first_o here_o be_v the_o spirit_n presence_n the_o spirit_n and_o the_o bride_n they_o be_v join_v both_o together_o to_o signify_v and_o intimate_v unto_o we_o that_o special_a residence_n which_o the_o holy_a ghost_n have_v in_o all_o true_a believer_n wherever_o there_o be_v the_o bride_n there_o be_v the_o spirit_n that_o be_v wherever_o there_o be_v any_o true_a christian_a there_o be_v the_o holy_a ghost_n abide_v in_o he_o and_o so_o the_o scripture_n set_v it_o in_o sundry_a place_n of_o it_o as_o 1_o cor._n 3.16_o know_v you_o not_o that_o you_o be_v the_o temple_n of_o god_n and_o that_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n dwell_v in_o you_o and_o so_o chap._n 6._o v._n 19_o know_v you_o not_o that_o your_o body_n be_v the_o temple_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n which_o be_v in_o you_o so_o again_o ephes_n 2.22_o in_o who_o you_o also_o be_v build_v together_o for_o a_o habitation_n of_o god_n through_o the_o spirit_n the_o spirit_n of_o god_n reside_v both_o in_o the_o whole_a church_n at_o large_a as_o also_o in_o every_o particular_a believer_n as_o the_o soul_n be_v in_o the_o whole_a body_n and_o also_o in_o every_o particular_a member_n therefore_o we_o may_v according_o know_v whither_o we_o be_v espouse_v to_o christ_n or_o no_o upon_o this_o account_n and_o consideration_n if_o any_o man_n have_v not_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n he_o be_v none_o of_o he_o rom._n 8.9_o because_o
