we_o do_v we_o place_v all_o godliness_n and_o all_o be_v ungodly_a that_o do_v not_o walk_v in_o his_o light_n but_o hate_v and_o despise_v it_o and_o false_o accuse_v those_o that_o walk_v in_o it_o but_o well_o may_v they_o accuse_v we_o to_o be_v erroneous_a and_o impious_a for_o walk_v in_o the_o light_n when_o they_o have_v accuse_v the_o light_n itself_o to_o be_v but_o lust_n and_o imagination_n but_o in_o this_o they_o know_v not_o what_o they_o do_v and_o therefore_o we_o pray_v to_o god_n to_o forgive_v they_o and_o whereas_o again_o we_o be_v charge_v page_n 47._o to_o make_v the_o come_n of_o christ_n into_o the_o world_n to_o be_v needless_a and_o useless_a by_o say_v that_o he_o have_v enlighten_v every_o man_n that_o come_v into_o the_o world_n that_o charge_n dwell_v in_o the_o light_n see_v his_o length_n and_o can_v measure_v his_o state_n &_o know_v that_o good_a can_v come_v from_o a_o old_a lie_a heart_n &_o he_o speak_v something_o of_o wonder_v after_o the_o beast_n and_o false_a prophet_n but_o have_v not_o describe_v what_o the_o beast_n be_v and_o the_o false_a prophet_n and_o i_o refer_v the_o reader_n to_o a_o book_n call_v the_o measure_n of_o the_o time_n wherein_o the_o priest_n of_o england_n such_o as_o j._n s._n be_v reprove_v according_a to_o the_o scripture_n to_o be_v the_o very_a branch_n of_o the_o same_o root_n of_o false_a prophet_n which_o all_o the_o world_n wonder_v after_o in_o john_n time_n &_o though_o he_o speak_v much_o to_o his_o church_n of_o christ_n without_o and_o of_o his_o birth_n blood_n and_o his_o righteousness_n and_o justification_n thereby_o etc._n etc._n but_o to_o all_o that_o i_o say_v all_o be_v reprobate_n but_o such_o in_o who_o christ_n be_v within_o they_o and_o none_o be_v justify_v but_o such_o nor_o have_v any_o part_n in_o the_o inheritance_n of_o god_n though_o they_o may_v profess_v never_o so_o much_o of_o christ_n without_o and_o what_o he_o have_v do_v christ_n who_o never_o make_v use_n of_o a_o old_a sinful_a heart_n to_o pen_n epistle_n to_o church_n but_o into_o this_o let_n search_v he_o say_v christ_n bless_v infants-baptism_n where_o or_o when_o i_o ask_v proof_n of_o this_o and_o till_o than_o i_o say_v j.s._n have_v belie_v christ_n and_o the_o generation_n of_o the_o just_a well_o may_v he_o bely_v we_o when_o he_o have_v belie_v christ_n who_o can_v not_o bleâ—s_n that_o which_o there_o be_v not_o there_o be_v no_o infant_n baptism_n that_o ever_o we_o read_v of_o in_o his_o day_n sure_a people_n will_v be_v more_o wise_a he_o speak_v of_o a_o well_o order_v conversation_n indeed_o this_o seem_v hypocrisy_n to_o exhort_v other_o their_o church_n to_o that_o which_o many_o of_o the_o independent_a teacher_n have_v not_o thmselve_n who_o be_v hireling_n and_o take_v gift_n and_o reward_n for_o preach_v and_o be_v in_o the_o way_n of_o all_o the_o deceiver_n of_o old_a and_o they_o that_o do_v these_o thing_n have_v not_o a_o well_o order_v conversation_n but_o a_o converse_v with_o the_o generation_n of_o ungodly_a &_o when_o we_o read_v the_o plain_a word_n of_o christ_n luke_n 17._o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n be_v within_o you_o he_o say_v we_o mad_o wrest_v the_o read_n of_o the_o word_n when_o we_o neither_o add_v nor_o diminish_v now_o he_o seem_v to_o say_v it_o be_v the_o kingdom_n of_o rule_n of_o believer_n according_a to_o his_o own_o account_n &_o thus_o by_o wicked_a man_n be_v we_o blame_v when_o we_o do_v not_o speak_v according_a to_o scripture_n language_n and_o now_o as_o wicked_o charge_v by_o i._n s._n for_o speak_v just_a in_o the_o scripture-expression_n with_o mad_o wrest_v the_o word_n but_o thus_o it_o be_v before_o &_o whatsoever_o we_o do_v now_o by_o enemy_n the_o truth_n and_o escape_v the_o error_n and_o let_v none_o believe_v hasty_o thing_n utter_v without_o knowledge_n out_o of_o j.s._n deceitful_a heart_n forasmuch_o as_o many_o of_o the_o servant_n of_o the_o lord_n have_v be_v move_v of_o the_o lord_n to_o set_v forth_o in_o order_n several_a declaration_n of_o those_o thing_n which_o the_o light_n of_o the_o glorious_a gospel_n shine_v in_o we_o do_v not_o contradict_v the_o scripture_n in_o our_o practise_n j.s._n be_v the_o liar_n herein_o who_o have_v make_v it_o a_o subject_a to_o treat_v two_o leaf_n upon_o for_o pray_v in_o the_o spirit_n and_o by_o the_o spirit_n and_o in_o public_a and_o private_a too_o we_o own_o and_o do_v practice_n as_o be_v know_v to_o thousand_o our_o enemy_n can_v witness_v for_o we_o and_o according_a to_o the_o scripture_n too_o and_o not_o contradict_v to_o it_o any_o way_n but_o this_o be_v the_o offence_n against_o he_o at_o which_o he_o be_v trouble_v that_o we_o shall_v deny_v pray_v in_o the_o synagogue_n who_o be_v out_o of_o christ_n and_o the_o apostle_n doctrine_n and_o the_o prayer_n and_o practice_n of_o such_o we_o do_v not_o deny_v according_a to_o the_o scripture_n which_o say_v the_o sacrifice_n of_o the_o wicked_a be_v abomination_n to_o the_o lord_n and_o they_o shall_v receive_v great_a condemnation_n who_o make_v long_a prayer_n for_o a_o pretence_n as_o it_o be_v manifest_a concern_v many_o in_o this_o genetation_n and_o against_o the_o pray_n of_o the_o hypocrite_n and_o of_o hireling_n who_o pretend_v to_o pray_v in_o love_n to_o soul_n when_o as_o if_o they_o have_v not_o a_o great_a sum_n of_o money_n from_o the_o people_n will_v not_o pray_v among_o they_o but_o seek_v a_o place_n to_o pray_v at_o among_o such_o who_o will_v give_v they_o money_n and_o hire_n and_o this_o pray_v be_v for_o a_o pretence_n and_o we_o do_v deny_v it_o in_o public_a and_o do_v not_o offend_v god_n herein_o though_o we_o vex_v j._n s._n of_o this_o testimony_n by_o obey_v the_o light_n which_o christ_n have_v enlighten_v they_o withal_o thereby_o shall_v they_o know_v whether_o this_o doctrine_n be_v of_o god_n or_o whether_o we_o speak_v of_o ourselves_o and_o whether_o all_o those_o effect_n be_v not_o bring_v forth_o by_o the_o work_n of_o christ_n light_n in_o they_o and_o then_o they_o shall_v not_o believe_v oneâ—y_a because_o of_o our_o word_n nor_o be_v envious_a against_o it_o because_o of_o other_o word_n but_o will_v find_v the_o testimony_n in_o themselves_o which_o be_v according_a to_o the_o record_n which_o god_n have_v give_v of_o hit_v son_n and_o according_a to_o the_o testimony_n which_o we_o have_v give_v of_o the_o light_n and_o he_o that_o believe_v shall_v be_v establish_v now_o that_o which_o oppose_v this_o be_v that_o which_o bear_v a_o testimony_n contrary_n to_o christ_n who_o say_v for_o this_o end_n be_v i_o bear_v and_o for_o this_o end_n come_v i_o into_o the_o world_n to_o bear_v witness_n unto_o the_o truth_n and_o every_o one_o that_o be_v of_o the_o truth_n hear_v my_o voice_n john_n 18.37_o and_o this_o be_v his_o witness_n and_o his_o messenger_n witness_v that_o he_o be_v the_o light_n of_o the_o world_n and_o that_o this_o be_v the_o true_a light_n which_o have_v enlighten_v every_o man_n that_o come_v into_o the_o world_n john_n 8.12_o john_n 1.9_o and_o this_o contrary_a testimony_n which_o be_v bring_v forth_o be_v this_o that_o it_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o man_n that_o be_v the_o light_n which_o have_v enlighten_v every_o man_n and_o so_o go_v about_o to_o prove_v the_o spirit_n of_o man_n not_o to_o be_v sufficient_a under_o this_o will_v destroy_v the_o sufficiency_n of_o the_o light_n of_o christ._n but_o the_o scripture_n never_o do_v give_v testimony_n that_o the_o spirit_n of_o man_n be_v the_o light_n of_o the_o world_n neither_o do_v we_o ever_o say_v that_o this_o light_n be_v the_o spirit_n of_o every_o man_n nor_o a_o natural_a light_n and_o therefore_o this_o man_n who_o have_v write_v a_o volume_n in_o prove_v a_o natural_a light_n or_o man_n reason_n insufficient_a let_v all_o people_n take_v notice_n what_o he_o contradict_v or_o disprove_v by_o it_o he_o do_v not_o by_o it_o contradict_v nor_o disprove_v any_o thing_n that_o we_o have_v say_v for_o we_o never_o do_v affirm_v that_o man_n reason_n be_v the_o light_n but_o he_o have_v labour_v to_o contradict_v himself_o he_o have_v set_v up_o a_o image_n and_o then_o glory_v in_o break_v of_o it_o down_o and_o from_o our_o word_n draw_v a_o false_a inference_n and_o glory_n in_o confound_v it_o &_o this_o be_v the_o general_a course_n of_o our_o opposer_n to_o raise_v a_o false_a proposition_n or_o conclusion_n from_o their_o own_o imagination_n &_o then_o contradict_v it_o and_o then_o cry_v the_o quaker_n contradict_v or_o confute_v and_o their_o doctrine_n disprove_v and_o they_o irrecoverable_o slay_v and_o many_o such_o cry_n be_v go_v forth_o in_o the_o world_n among_o people_n like_o the_o noise_n of_o many_o water_n to_o which_o i_o answer_v nay_o they_o be_v not_o
