love_v they_o the_o more_o it_o greive_v we_o to_o be_v cross_v in_o our_o love_n there_o be_v scarce_o any_o friend_n so_o wise_a so_o good_a so_o suitable_a to_o we_o or_o so_o near_o that_o we_o can_v always_o please_v and_o the_o displeasure_n of_o a_o friend_n be_v as_o gravel_n in_o our_o shoe_n or_o as_o nettle_n in_o our_o bed_n ofttimes_o more_o grievous_a than_o the_o malice_n of_o a_o discourage_v the_o love_n that_o be_v spiritual_a and_o pure_a we_o have_v here_o our_o passionate_a friend_n our_o self-conceited_a friend_n our_o unkind_a unthankful_a selfish_a friend_n our_o mutable_a and_o unfaithful_a friend_n our_o contentious_a friend_n that_o be_v like_a to_o enemy_n and_o who_o have_v use_v we_o more_o hardly_o than_o our_o friend_n but_o when_o we_o come_v to_o god_n we_o shall_v have_v friend_n that_o be_v like_o god_n that_o be_v whole_o good_a and_o be_v participative_o turn_v into_o love_n and_o have_v leave_v behind_o they_o all_o that_o be_v unclean_a their_o company_n their_o opinion_n the_o slander_n of_o backbiter_n and_o misrepresentation_n of_o malicious_a man_n can_v cool_v their_o love_n and_o kill_v their_o friendship_n but_o heaven_n be_v a_o place_n of_o constant_a love_n the_o love_n of_o saint_n as_o all_o thing_n else_o be_v there_o eternal_a and_o yet_o it_o declineâ—h_v not_o with_o age_n it_o be_v a_o world_n of_o love_n that_o shadow_n a_o dream_n a_o post_n and_o that_o all_o these_o thing_n shall_v be_v dissolve_v and_o the_o fashion_n of_o they_o pass_v away_o be_v it_o not_o more_o reasonable_a that_o we_o shall_v set_v our_o heart_n on_o the_o place_n where_o there_o be_v hope_n of_o our_o continuance_n then_o where_o there_o be_v none_o â—â—_o and_o where_o we_o must_v live_v for_o ever_o then_o where_o we_o must_v be_v but_o for_o so_o short_a a_o time_n alas_o poor_a darken_v trouble_a soul_n be_v the_o presence_n of_o christ_n less_o desirable_a in_o thy_o eye_n than_o the_o presence_n of_o such_o sinful_a worm_n as_o we_o who_o thou_o be_v loath_a to_o part_v with_o be_v it_o more_o grievous_a to_o thou_o to_o be_v absent_a from_o we_o then_o from_o thy_o lord_n from_o earth_n then_o from_o heaven_n from_o sinner_n then_o from_o bless_a saint_n from_o trouble_n and_o frailty_n then_o from_o glory_n have_v thou_o any_o thing_n here_o that_o thou_o shall_v want_v in_o heaven_n alas_o that_o we_o shall_v thus_o draw_v back_o from_o happiness_n and_o follow_v christ_n so_o heavy_o and_o sad_o into_o life_n but_o all_o this_o be_v long_o of_o the_o enemy_n that_o now_o molest_v our_o peace_n indwell_v sin_n and_o a_o flatter_a world_n and_o a_o brutish_a flesh_n and_o
interpose_v death_n be_v our_o discouragment_n that_o drive_v we_o back_o but_o all_o these_o enemy_n shall_v short_o be_v overcome_v fear_v not_o death_n then_o let_v it_o do_v its_o worst_a it_o can_v give_v thou_o but_o one_o deadly_a gripe_n that_o shall_v kill_v itself_o and_o prove_v thy_o life_n as_o the_o wasp_n that_o leave_v its_o sting_n behind_o and_o can_v sting_v no_o more_o it_o be_v further_a from_o corporeity_n and_o be_v spirit_n like_v unto_o god_n the_o further_a any_o thing_n be_v from_o spirituality_n the_o further_a from_o that_o excellency_n and_o perfection_n which_o the_o creature_n near_a god_n partake_v of_o the_o earth_n be_v base_a than_o the_o air_n and_o fire_n the_o drossy_a flesh_n be_v base_a than_o the_o soul_n and_o this_o lumpish_a dirty_a visible_a world_n be_v incomparable_o below_o that_o spiritual_a world_n which_o we_o believe_v and_o wait_v for_o and_o though_o thy_o conception_n of_o spirit_n and_o the_o spiritual_a world_n be_v low_a and_o dark_a and_o much_o unsatisfy_n remember_v still_o that_o thy_o head_n be_v there_o and_o it_o belong_v to_o he_o to_o know_v what_o thou_o shall_v be_v till_o thou_o be_v fit_a to_o know_v it_o which_o will_v not_o be_v till_o thou_o be_v fit_a to_o enjoy_v it_o be_v satisfy_v that_o thy_o father_n be_v in_o heaven_n and_o that_o thy_o lord_n be_v there_o and_o that_o the_o spirit_n that_o have_v be_v so_o long_o at_o work_n within_o thou_o prepare_v thou_o for_o it_o dwell_v there_o and_o let_v it_o suffice_v thou_o that_o christ_n know_v what_o he_o will_v do_v with_o thou_o and_o how_o he_o will_v employ_v thou_o to_o all_o eternity_n and_o thou_o shall_v very_o short_o see_v his_o face_n and_o in_o his_o light_n thou_o shall_v behold_v that_o light_n that_o what_o a_o word_n of_o hope_n and_o joy_n be_v this_o that_o christ_n be_v rise_v with_o this_o we_o will_v answer_v a_o thousand_o cavil_n of_o the_o tempter_n and_o stop_v the_o mouth_n of_o the_o enemy_n of_o our_o faith_n and_o profligate_v our_o infidelity_n as_o unlikely_a as_o it_o seem_v to_o flesh_n and_o blood_n shall_v we_o ever_o doubt_v whether_o we_o shall_v rise_v again_o when_o
