fifteen_o of_o the_o act_n declare_v the_o same_o thing_n in_o these_o word_n that_o certain_a man_n come_v down_o from_o judea_n teach_v the_o brother_n say_v 15.1_o except_o you_o be_v circumcise_v after_o the_o custom_n of_o moses_n you_o can_v not_o be_v save_v wherefore_o the_o false_a apostle_n most_o earnest_o and_o obstinate_o contend_v that_o the_o law_n ought_v to_o be_v observe_v unto_o who_o the_o stiffnecked_a jew_n forthwith_o join_v themselves_o and_o so_o afterwards_o easy_o persuade_v such_o as_o be_v not_o establish_v in_o the_o faith_n that_o paul_n be_v not_o a_o sincere_a false_a apostle_n amplify_v and_o set_v forth_o to_o the_o uttermost_a that_o they_o may_v bring_v paul_n into_o more_o hatred_n among_o the_o galatian_n and_o to_o the_o end_n they_o may_v set_v be_v impute_v unto_o he_o for_o righteousness_n for_o christian_n righteousness_n consist_v in_o two_o thing_n that_o be_v to_o say_v in_o faith_n of_o the_o heart_n and_o in_o god_n imputation_n faith_n be_v in_o deed_n a_o join_v formal_a righteousness_n and_o yet_o this_o righteousness_n be_v not_o enough_o for_o after_o faith_n there_o remain_v yet_o certain_a remnant_n of_o sin_n in_o our_o flesh_n this_o sacrifice_n of_o faith_n begin_v in_o abraham_n but_o at_o last_o it_o be_v finish_v in_o his_o death_n and_o therefore_o the_o other_o part_n of_o righteousness_n must_v needs_o be_v add_v also_o to_o finish_v the_o same_o in_o we_o that_o be_v to_o say_v god_n imputation_n for_o faith_n give_v not_o enough_o to_o god_n because_o it_o be_v imperfect_a yea_o rather_o our_o faith_n be_v but_o a_o little_a spark_n of_o faith_n which_o begin_v only_o to_o render_v unto_o god_n his_o true_a divinity_n 8.23_o we_o have_v receive_v the_o first_o fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n but_o not_o yet_o the_o ten_o beside_o this_o reason_n be_v not_o utter_o kill_v in_o this_o life_n which_o may_v appear_v by_o our_o concupiscence_n wrath_n impatience_n and_o other_o fruit_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o of_o infidelity_n yet_o remain_v in_o we_o yea_o the_o holy_a that_o live_v have_v not_o yet_o a_o full_a and_o continual_a joy_n in_o god_n but_o have_v their_o sundry_a passion_n imputation_n wherefore_o faith_n begin_v righteousness_n but_o imputation_n make_v it_o perfect_a unto_o the_o day_n of_o christ_n the_o popish_a sophister_n and_o schoolman_n dispute_v also_o of_o imputation_n when_o they_o speak_v of_o the_o good_a acceptation_n of_o the_o work_n schoolman_n but_o beside_o and_o clean_o contrary_a to_o the_o scripture_n for_o they_o wrest_v it_o only_o to_o work_n they_o do_v not_o consider_v the_o uncleanness_n and_o inward_a poison_n lurk_v in_o the_o heart_n as_o incredulity_n doubt_v they_o despise_v and_o hate_v of_o god_n which_o most_o for_o christ_n sake_n for_o these_o two_o thing_n as_o i_o say_v before_o work_n christian_n righteousness_n namely_o faith_n in_o the_o heart_n which_o be_v a_o gift_n of_o god_n and_o right_o believe_v in_o christ_n and_o also_o that_o god_n accept_v this_o imperfect_a faith_n for_o perfect_a righteousness_n for_o christ_n sake_n in_o who_o i_o have_v begin_v to_o believe_v because_o of_o this_o faith_n in_o christ_n god_n see_v not_o my_o doubt_v of_o his_o good_a will_n towards_o i_o my_o distrust_n my_o heaviness_n of_o spirit_n and_o other_o sin_n which_o be_v yet_o in_o i_o for_o as_o long_o as_o i_o live_v in_o the_o flesh_n sin_n be_v very_o in_o i_o but_o because_o i_o be_o cover_v under_o the_o shadow_n of_o christ_n wing_n as_o be_v the_o chicken_n under_o the_o wing_n of_o the_o hen_n and_o dwell_v without_o all_o fear_n under_o that_o most_o ample_a and_o large_a heaven_n of_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o sin_n which_o be_v spread_v over_o i_o god_n cover_v and_o pardon_v the_o remnant_n of_o sin_n in_o i_o that_o be_v to_o say_v because_o of_o that_o faith_n wherewith_o i_o begin_v to_o lay_v hold_n upon_o christ_n he_o accept_v my_o imperfect_a righteousness_n even_o for_o perfect_a righteousness_n &_o count_v my_o sin_n for_o no_o sin_n which_o notwithstanding_o be_v sin_n in_o deed_n so_o we_o shroud_v ourselves_o under_o the_o cover_n of_o christ_n flesh_n who_o be_v our_o cloudy_a pillar_n for_o the_o day_n and_o our_o fire_n by_o the_o night_n lest_o god_n shall_v see_v our_o sin_n and_o although_o we_o see_v it_o and_o for_o exercise_v ourselves_o in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n and_o avoid_v sin_n as_o much_o as_o we_o may_v if_o we_o sin_v we_o sin_v not_o of_o purpose_n but_o of_o ignorance_n and_o we_o be_v sorry_a for_o it_o we_o may_v slip_v for_o the_o devil_n lie_v in_o wait_n for_o we_o both_o day_n and_o night_n also_o saint_n the_o remnant_n of_o sin_n cleave_v yet_o fast_o in_o our_o flesh_n therefore_o as_o touch_v the_o flesh_n we_o be_v sinner_n yea_o after_o that_o we_o have_v receive_v the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o there_o be_v no_o great_a difference_n betwixt_o a_o christian_a and_o a_o civil_a honest_a man._n righteous_a for_o the_o work_n of_o a_o christian_a in_o outward_a show_n be_v but_o base_a and_o simple_a he_o do_v his_o duty_n according_a to_o his_o vocation_n he_o guide_v his_o family_n he_o till_v the_o ground_n he_o give_v counsel_n he_o aid_v and_o succour_v his_o neighbour_n these_o work_v the_o carnal_a man_n do_v not_o much_o esteem_n but_o think_v they_o to_o be_v it_o judge_v perverse_o of_o the_o work_n of_o the_o godly_a but_o the_o monstrous_a superstition_n of_o hypocrite_n and_o their_o will_n work_v they_o have_v in_o great_a admiration_n they_o count_v cross_n and_o of_o the_o confession_n of_o our_o faith_n which_o be_v that_o proper_a &_o principal_a work_n of_o those_o that_o believe_v when_o we_o must_v either_o forsake_v wife_n child_n good_n and_o life_n or_o else_o deny_v christ_n than_o it_o appear_v that_o we_o make_v confession_n of_o
contemptible_a as_o paul_n be_v among_o the_o galatian_n as_o here_o he_o witness_v of_o himself_o and_o to_o receive_v he_o as_o a_o angel_n from_o heaven_n and_o to_o geve_v he_o such_o honour_n
