set_v forth_o the_o image_n of_o god_n the_o father_n and_o of_o christ_n even_o as_o the_o wax_n in_o the_o which_o the_o king_n or_o signet_n be_v print_v carry_v the_o mark_n or_o print_v of_o the_o same_o a._n but_o concern_v the_o unity_n of_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n read_v the_o ten_o chapter_n go_v before_o begin_v at_o the_o .30_o verse_n and_o in_o the_o verse_n follow_v 12._o while_o i_o be_v with_o they_o in_o the_o world_n i_o keep_v they_o in_o thy_o name_n those_o that_o thou_o give_v i_o have_v i_o keep_v and_o none_o of_o they_o be_v lose_v but_o that_o lose_v child_n that_o the_o scripture_n may_v be_v fulfil_v c._n christ_n say_v that_o he_o have_v keep_v they_o in_o his_o father_n name_n because_o he_o make_v himself_o only_o a_o minister_n which_o do_v nothing_o but_o by_o the_o power_n of_o god._n he_o therefore_o thynk_v it_o not_o meet_v that_o they_o shall_v now_o perish_v as_o though_o the_o power_n of_o god_n by_o his_o departure_n be_v extinguish_v or_o bead_n r._n as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v hitherto_o i_o have_v confirm_v the_o apostle_n with_o the_o word_n of_o the_o gospel_n yea_o i_o have_v leave_v nothing_o undoone_v that_o may_v keep_v they_o within_o the_o band_n and_o duty_n of_o faith_n and_o i_o have_v keep_v they_o that_o none_o shall_v perish_v but_o only_o that_o judas_n iscarioth_n of_o who_o fall_n the_o scripture_n before_o testify_v and_o now_o because_o i_o be_o goo_v away_o i_o commit_v they_o to_o thy_o charge_n for_o i_o shall_v be_v delyver_v too_o the_o adversary_n and_o shall_v be_v leave_v in_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o wicked_a that_o in_o deryde_v i_o they_o shall_v say_v he_o save_v other_o himself_o he_o can_v not_o save_v wherefore_o i_o resign_v they_o over_o into_o thy_o hand_n that_o they_o may_v be_v preserve_v from_o all_o evil_a c._n but_o this_o seem_v very_o absurd_a that_o chryste_n shall_v set_v over_o unto_o god_n the_o offyce_v of_o save_v and_o preserve_v as_o though_o he_o have_v end_v the_o course_n of_o his_o life_n leass_v to_o be_v their_o keeper_n but_o this_o be_v thus_o answer_v that_o chryste_n speak_v only_o here_o of_o the_o visible_a custody_n which_o have_v a_o end_n in_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n for_o so_o long_o as_o he_o be_v conversaunte_a on_o earth_n he_o need_v not_o to_o borrow_v any_o other_o power_n to_o preserve_v his_o disciple_n but_o all_o this_o be_v refer_v too_o the_o person_n of_o the_o mediator_n which_o appear_v in_o the_o form_n of_o a_o servant_n for_o a_o tyme._n but_o now_o he_o command_v his_o disciple_n so_o soon_o as_o they_o begin_v to_o want_n but_o the_o least_o help_n to_o lyfte_v up_o their_o eye_n to_o heaven_n whereby_o we_o gather_v that_o chryste_n do_v no_o less_o preserve_v the_o faithful_a at_o this_o day_n than_o he_o have_v do_v in_o time_n paste_n but_o after_o a_o other_o manner_n because_o the_o devyne_a majesty_n open_o shine_v in_o he_o r._n for_o if_o so_o be_v christ_n keep_v and_o preserve_v he_o before_o he_o enter_v into_o the_o kingdom_n of_o his_o father_n and_o satisfy_v the_o desire_n of_o the_o faithful_a concern_v joy_n how_o much_o more_o shall_v he_o keep_v they_o now_o see_v he_o have_v justify_v they_o by_o his_o death_n and_o resurrection_n for_o now_o our_o salvation_n be_v more_o near_o than_o when_o we_o believe_v and_o see_v when_o as_o yet_o we_o be_v sinner_n chryste_n die_v for_o we_o much_o more_o now_o we_o be_v justify_v by_o his_o blood_n 5.6_o rom._n 5.6_o shall_v be_v save_v through_o he_o from_o wrath_n m._n furthermore_o let_v we_o note_v here_o how_o chryste_n say_v that_o he_o have_v keep_v his_o disciple_n in_o the_o world_n for_o such_o be_v this_o world_n that_o the_o elect_n have_v need_n of_o god_n preservation_n so_o long_o as_o they_o be_v in_o the_o same_o c._n whereas_o he_o make_v exception_n here_o of_o judas_n it_o be_v not_o without_o cause_n for_o although_o he_o be_v none_o of_o the_o elect_n and_o of_o god_n flock_n yet_o notwithstanding_o the_o dignity_n of_o his_o office_n make_v he_o seem_v so_o to_o be_v neither_o will_v any_o man_n have_v think_v otherwise_o of_o he_o so_o long_o as_o he_o be_v in_o that_o office_n therefore_o in_o respect_n of_o grammar_n the_o exception_n be_v improper_a but_o if_o we_o consider_v the_o matter_n all_o man_n will_v say_v that_o it_o behove_v christ_n so_o to_o speak_v moreover_o lest_o any_o man_n shall_v think_v that_o the_o eternal_a election_n of_o god_n be_v void_a in_o the_o destruction_n of_o judas_n he_o add_v héerewithal_o that_o he_o be_v the_o son_n of_o perdition_n by_o which_o word_n he_o give_v to_o understand_v that_o his_o ruin_n and_o destruction_n which_o sudden_o appear_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o man_n be_v from_o the_o beginning_n know_v unto_o god_n it_o appear_v therefore_o very_a well_o that_o chryste_n know_v for_o who_o he_o pray_v and_o for_o who_o he_o pray_v not_o m._n by_o this_o perdition_n of_o judas_n we_o may_v gather_v that_o there_o be_v no_o hope_n of_o salvation_n for_o those_o which_o follow_v the_o step_n of_o judas_n persecute_v the_o truth_n of_o chryste_n for_o filthy_a gain_n whereby_o they_o manifest_o declare_v that_o they_o be_v bear_v the_o child_n of_o perdition_n see_v the_o same_o happen_v too_o
