must_v he_o do_v now_o question_n i_o answer_v his_o sure_a way_n be_v still_o to_o think_v that_o this_o be_v the_o fruit_n of_o some_o sin_n though_o possible_o not_o sin_n in_o the_o management_n of_o his_o call_n yet_o of_o some_o other_o sin_n god_n cast_v away_o the_o substance_n of_o the_o wicked_a 3._o therefore_o let_v he_o still_o humble_a himself_o before_o his_o god_n 6._o because_o his_o hand_n be_v upon_o he_o and_o say_v what_o sin_n be_v this_o for_o which_o this_o hand_n of_o god_n be_v upon_o i_o and_o let_v he_o be_v diligent_a to_o find_v it_o out_o for_o some_o sin_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o this_o judgement_n 33._o for_o god_n do_v not_o willing_o afflict_v nor_o grieve_v the_o child_n of_o man_n either_o the_o heart_n be_v too_o much_o set_v upon_o the_o world_n the_o sake_n of_o which_o god_n do_v thus_o deal_v with_o thou_o three_o again_o this_o thus_o do_v let_v that_o man_n again_o consider_v thus_o with_o himself_o perhaps_o god_n be_v now_o change_v of_o my_o condition_n and_o state_n in_o the_o world_n he_o have_v let_v i_o live_v in_o fashion_n in_o â—ulness_n and_o abundance_n of_o worldly_a glory_n and_o i_o do_v not_o to_o his_o glory_n consider_v of_o these_o four_o thing_n 1._o this_o be_v right_o lie_v down_o under_o god_n hand_n thing_n and_o the_o way_n to_o be_v exalt_v in_o god_n time_n when_o god_n will_v have_v job_n embrace_v the_o dunghill_n he_o embrace_v it_o 8._o and_o say_v the_o lord_n give_v and_o the_o lord_n have_v take_v away_o bless_a be_v the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n 2._o consider_v that_o there_o be_v blessing_n also_o that_o attend_v a_o low_a condition_n more_o than_o all_o the_o world_n be_v aware_a of_o a_o poor_a condition_n have_v prevent_v mercy_n attend_v of_o it_o the_o poor_a because_o they_o be_v poor_a be_v not_o capable_a of_o sin_v against_o god_n as_o the_o rich_a man_n do_v 3._o the_o poor_a can_n more_o clear_o see_v himself_o preserve_v by_o the_o providence_n of_o god_n than_o the_o rich_a 6._o for_o he_o trust_v in_o the_o abundance_n of_o his_o riches_n 4._o it_o may_v be_v god_n have_v make_v thou_o poor_a 5._o because_o he_o will_v make_v thou_o rich_a harken_v my_o belove_a brethren_n have_v not_o god_n choose_v the_o poor_a of_o this_o world_n rich_a in_o faith_n and_o heir_n of_o a_o kingdom_n which_o god_n have_v promise_v to_o they_o that_o love_v he_o i_o be_o persuade_v if_o man_n upon_o who_o this_o hand_n of_o god_n be_v will_v thus_o quiet_o lie_v down_o and_o humble_v themselves_o under_o it_o they_o will_v find_v more_o peace_n yea_o more_o blessing_n of_o god_n attend_v they_o in_o it_o than_o the_o most_o of_o man_n be_v aware_a of_o but_o this_o be_v a_o hard_a chapter_n and_o therefore_o i_o do_v not_o expect_v that_o many_o shall_v either_o read_v it_o with_o pleasure_n or_o desire_v to_o take_v my_o counsel_n have_v thus_o speak_v to_o the_o break_a man_n with_o reference_n to_o his_o own_o self_n i_o will_v now_o speak_v to_o he_o as_o he_o stand_v relate_v to_o his_o creditor_n in_o the_o next_o place_n therefore_o let_v he_o fall_v upon_o the_o most_o creditor_n honest_a way_n of_o deal_n with_o his_o creditor_n and_o that_o i_o think_v must_v be_v this_o first_o let_v he_o timely_o make_v they_o acquaint_v with_o his_o condition_n and_o also_o do_v to_o they_o these_o three_o thing_n 1._o let_v he_o hearty_o and_o unfeigned_o ask_v they_o forgiveness_n for_o the_o wrong_n that_o he_o have_v do_v they_o 2._o let_v he_o proffer_v they_o all_o and_o the_o whole_a all_o that_o ever_o he_o have_v in_o the_o world_n let_v he_o hide_v nothing_o let_v he_o strip_v himself_o to_o his_o raiment_n for_o they_o let_v he_o not_o keep_v a_o ring_n a_o spoon_n or_o any_o thing_n from_o they_o 3._o if_o none_o of_o these_o two_o will_v satisfy_v they_o let_v he_o proffer_v they_o his_o body_n to_o be_v at_o their_o dispose_n to_o wit_n either_o to_o abide_v imprisonment_n their_o pleasure_n or_o to_o be_v at_o their_o service_n till_o by_o labour_n and_o travel_v he_o have_v make_v they_o such_o amends_o as_o they_o in_o reason_n think_v fit_a only_o reserve_v something_o for_o the_o succour_n of_o his_o poor_a and_o distress_a family_n out_o of_o his_o labour_n which_o in_o reason_n and_o conscience_n and_o nature_n he_o be_v bind_v also_o to_o take_v care_n of_o thus_o shall_v he_o make_v they_o what_o amends_o he_o be_v able_a for_o the_o wrong_n that_o he_o have_v do_v they_o in_o waste_v and_o spend_v of_o their_o estate_n by_o thus_o do_v he_o submit_v himself_o to_o god_n rod_n commit_v himself_o to_o the_o dispose_n of_o his_o providence_n yea_o by_o thus_o do_v he_o cast_v the_o lot_n of_o his_o present_a and_o future_a condition_n into_o the_o lap_n of_o his_o creditor_n and_o leave_v the_o whole_a dispose_n thereof_o to_o the_o lord_n 33._o even_o as_o he_o shall_v order_v and_o incline_v their_o hearr_n to_o do_v with_o he_o and_o let_v that_o be_v either_o to_o forgive_v he_o or_o to_o take_v that_o which_o he_o have_v for_o satisfaction_n or_o to_o lay_v his_o body_n under_o affliction_n this_o way_n or_o that_o according_a to_o law_n can_v he_o i_o say_v thus_o leave_v the_o whole_a dispose_n to_o god_n let_v the_o issue_n be_v what_o it_o will_v that_o man_n shall_v have_v peace_n in_o his_o mind_n afterward_o and_o the_o comfort_n of_o that_o state_n which_o will_v be_v comfort_n that_o attend_v equity_n justice_n and_o duty_n will_v be_v more_o unto_o he_o because_o more_o according_a to_o godliness_n than_o can_v be_v the_o comfort_n that_o be_v the_o fruit_n of_o injustice_n fraudulency_n and_o deceit_n beside_o this_o be_v the_o way_n to_o engage_v god_n to_o favour_v he_o by_o the_o sentence_n of_o his_o creditor_n for_o he_o can_v entreat_v they_o to_o use_v he_o kind_o 11._o and_o he_o will_v do_v it_o when_o his_o way_n be_v please_v in_o his_o sight_n when_o a_o man_n way_n please_v the_o lord_n 7._o his_o enemy_n shall_v be_v at_o peace_n with_o he_o and_o sure_o for_o a_o man_n to_o seek_v to_o make_v restitution_n for_o wrong_n do_v to_o the_o utmost_a of_o his_o power_n by_o what_o he_o be_v have_v and_o that_o do_v otherwise_o abide_v in_o his_o sin_n refuse_v to_o be_v dispose_v of_o by_o the_o providence_n of_o god_n choose_v a_o high_a estate_n though_o not_o attain_v in_o god_n way_n when_o god_n not_o cry_v unto_o i_o with_o their_o heart_n 14_o when_o they_o howl_v upon_o their_o bed_n atten._n yet_o one_o may_v see_v heart_n by_o this_o the_o desperateness_n of_o man_n heart_n for_o what_o be_v it_o but_o desperate_a wickedness_n to_o make_v promise_n to_o god_n of_o amendment_n if_o he_o will_v but_o spare_v they_o and_o yet_o so_o soon_o as_o they_o be_v recover_v or_o quick_o after_o fall_v to_o sin_n as_o they_o do_v before_o and_o never_o to_o regard_v their_o promise_n more_o wise._n it_o be_v a_o sign_n of_o desperateness_n indeed_o 35._o yea_o of_o desperate_a madness_n for_o sure_o they_o must_v needs_o think_v that_o god_n take_v notice_n of_o their_o promise_n that_o he_o hear_v the_o word_n that_o they_o speak_v and_o that_o he_o have_v lay_v they_o up_o against_o the_o time_n to_o come_v and_o will_v then_o bring_v out_o and_o testify_v to_o their_o face_n that_o they_o flatter_v he_o with_o their_o mouth_n and_o lie_v unto_o he_o with_o their_o tongue_n when_o they_o lie_v sick_a 37._o to_o their_o think_n upon_o their_o deathbed_n and_o promise_v he_o that_o if_o he_o will_v recover_v they_o they_o will_v repent_v and_o amend_v their_o way_n but_o thus_o as_o i_o have_v tell_v you_o mr._n badman_n do_v he_o make_v great_a promise_n that_o he_o will_v be_v a_o new_a man_n that_o he_o will_v leave_v his_o sin_n and_o become_v a_o convert_n that_o he_o will_v love_v etc._n etc._n his_o godly_a wife_n etc._n etc._n yea_o many_o fine_a word_n have_v mr._n badman_n in_o his_o sickness_n but_o no_o good_a action_n when_o he_o be_v well_o atten._n and_o how_o do_v his_o good_a wife_n take_v it_o when_o she_o see_v that_o he_o have_v no_o amendment_n but_o that_o he_o return_v with_o the_o dog_n to_o his_o vomit_n to_o his_o old_a course_n again_o wise._n why_o it_o break_v break_v her_o heart_n it_o be_v a_o worse_a disappointment_n to_o she_o than_o the_o cheat_n that_o he_o give_v she_o in_o marriage_n at_o least_o she_o lay_v it_o more_o to_o heart_n and_o can_v not_o so_o well_o grapple_v with_o it_o you_o must_v think_v that_o she_o have_v put_v up_o many_o a_o prayer_n to_o god_n for_o he_o before_o even_o all_o the_o time_n that_o he_o have_v carry_v it_o so_o bad_o to_o she_o and_o now_o when_o he_o be_v so_o affright_v in_o his_o sickness_n and_o so_o desire_v that_o he_o may_v live_v and_o meâ—d_v poor_a woman_n she_o
