in_o a_o assent_n to_o the_o faith_n of_o the_o church_n the_o second_o thing_n in_o faith_n which_o be_v the_o more_o principal_a be_v a_o application_n of_o thing_n know_v namely_o of_o christ_n and_o his_o benefit_n unto_o ourselves_o in_o particular_a and_o herein_o stand_v the_o very_a substance_n of_o true_a faith_n which_o be_v not_o cause_v by_o any_o natural_a affection_n of_o heart_n or_o action_n of_o will_n but_o by_o the_o supernatural_a action_n of_o the_o mind_n enlighten_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n resolve_v we_o that_o christ_n and_o his_o merit_n belong_v unto_o we_o in_o particular_a that_o this_o true_a particular_a application_n be_v require_v in_o true_a faith_n be_v prove_v by_o these_o reason_n first_o that_o which_o we_o lawful_o ask_v by_o prayer_n we_o must_v believe_v by_o a_o special_a faith_n but_o in_o prayer_n we_o lawful_o ask_v the_o pardon_n of_o our_o sin_n in_o particular_a and_o life_n everlasting_a by_o christ_n therefore_o we_o must_v
