hereafter_o therefore_o he_o will_v do_v what_o he_o can_v to_o disturb_v and_o disquiet_v they_o here_o and_o oh_o how_o do_v it_o make_v a_o godly_a man_n inward_o to_o sigh_o and_o mourn_v that_o he_o can_v never_o set_v about_o any_o thing_n that_o be_v good_a but_o the_o evil_a one_o be_v work_v against_o he_o with_o his_o temptation_n either_o to_o dissuade_v he_o from_o do_v of_o it_o or_o to_o disturb_v he_o in_o the_o do_n of_o it_o fill_v his_o mind_n not_o only_o with_o vain_a and_o foolish_a but_o with_o wicked_a and_o sinful_a thought_n that_o continual_o indispose_v to_o and_o distract_v he_o in_o it_o and_o if_o notwithstanding_o all_o this_o a_o godly_a man_n will_v persevere_v and_o go_v through_o his_o work_n till_o he_o have_v finish_v what_o he_o be_v about_o then_o to_o find_v the_o wicked_a one_o discourage_v he_o after_o his_o performance_n tell_v he_o that_o because_o of_o those_o wander_n and_o distracting_n which_o himself_o have_v be_v the_o cause_n of_o in_o a_o great_a measure_n therefore_o god_n will_v not_o own_v nor_o accept_v what_o he_o have_v do_v this_o certain_o must_v needs_o be_v a_o great_a disquietment_n to_o a_o gracious_a heart_n and_o yet_o these_o be_v the_o daily_a temptation_n and_o discouragement_n that_o a_o godly_a man_n be_v strive_v with_o and_o contend_v against_o by_o reason_n of_o that_o evil_a one._n this_o if_o any_o thing_n will_v bring_v a_o saint_n upon_o his_o knee_n and_o make_v he_o with_o the_o apostle_n to_o pray_v again_o and_o again_o yea_o to_o besiege_v heaven_n day_n and_o night_n with_o prayer_n and_o tear_n that_o he_o may_v be_v deliver_v from_o that_o cruel_a and_o bloody_a hellhound_n and_o from_o all_o his_o wicked_a solicitation_n well_o be_v patient_a o_o all_o you_o tempt_v holy_a soul_n for_o though_o the_o temptation_n you_o meet_v with_o be_v so_o black_a and_o horrid_a that_o nothing_o can_v match_v they_o but_o the_o blackness_n of_o hell_n itself_o from_o whence_o at_o first_o they_o come_v though_o you_o be_v at_o present_a engage_v in_o a_o very_a unequal_a match_n for_o what_o can_v flesh_n and_o blood_n do_v to_o contend_v with_o principality_n and_o power_n and_o spiritual_a wickedness_n in_o high_a place_n yet_o remember_v strong_a be_v he_o that_o be_v in_o you_o than_o he_o that_o be_v in_o the_o world_n and_o in_o this_o hour_n of_o your_o temptation_n and_o contest_v with_o the_o power_n of_o darkness_n there_o be_v these_o two_o thing_n among_o other_o that_o may_v comfort_v you_o the_o one_o be_v let_v the_o temptation_n be_v as_o black_a and_o dismal_a as_o hell_n can_v make_v they_o yet_o if_o a_o godly_a man_n yield_v not_o his_o consent_n to_o they_o they_o be_v none_o of_o his_o sin_n nor_o shall_v they_o be_v charge_v upon_o he_o as_o such_o the_o other_o be_v this_o that_o the_o god_n of_o peace_n will_v short_o tread_v satan_n under_o his_o foot_n nay_o he_o himself_o shall_v short_o trample_v he_o under_o his_o own_o foot_n the_o time_n be_v hasten_v apace_o and_o it_o can_v be_v long_o before_o death_n will_v come_v in_o to_o thy_o relief_n and_o set_v thou_o beyond_o the_o reach_n of_o all_o his_o temptation_n it_o be_v true_a while_o we_o be_v in_o the_o wilderness_n of_o this_o world_n the_o devil_n will_v never_o let_v we_o be_v quiet_a but_o will_v be_v continual_o cast_v his_o fiery_a dart_n at_o we_o follow_v we_o with_o one_o temptation_n after_o another_o and_o when_o at_o any_o time_n in_o the_o strength_n of_o our_o great_a lord_n we_o have_v worsted_n he_o in_o one_o temptation_n yet_o be_v we_o sure_a to_o be_v vex_v by_o he_o in_o some_o other_o but_o yet_o be_v not_o discourage_v o_o believe_a soul_n notwithstanding_o all_o the_o assault_n of_o this_o evil_a one_o but_o maintain_v thy_o conflict_n keep_v thy_o ground_n yield_v not_o base_o and_o cowardly_o unto_o any_o of_o his_o temptation_n but_o continue_v to_o resist_v he_o steadfast_o in_o the_o faith_n for_o the_o time_n of_o thy_o wrestle_n and_o contend_v with_o he_o can_v last_v long_o than_o thy_o short_a and_o transitory_a life_n and_o remember_v for_o thy_o support_n that_o as_o now_o thou_o neither_o stand_v nor_o fight_v in_o thy_o own_o strength_n but_o in_o the_o strength_n of_o another_o so_o certain_o shall_v thou_o in_o that_o strength_n overcome_v yea_o obtain_v a_o everlasting_a conquest_n over_o all_o satan_n temptation_n the_o time_n of_o thy_o death_n will_v be_v the_o time_n of_o thy_o eternal_a deliverance_n not_o only_o from_o all_o his_o temptation_n but_o from_o all_o his_o malice_n and_o envy_n that_o put_v he_o upon_o those_o temptation_n o_o what_o a_o happiness_n will_v this_o be_v and_o o_o how_o great_o shall_v a_o believer_n long_o for_o the_o accomplishment_n of_o it_o for_o than_o shall_v the_o devil_n be_v as_o unlikely_a to_o tempt_v as_o our_o heart_n to_o close_v with_o his_o temptation_n and_o both_o alike_o impossible_a three_o in_o heaven_n saint_n shall_v enjoy_v a_o perfect_a freedom_n from_o all_o sin_n there_o be_v no_o evil_a in_o the_o world_n the_o people_n of_o god_n complain_v of_o with_o great_a grief_n and_o sorrow_n than_o they_o do_v of_o sin_n this_o make_v
perfect_a lineament_n of_o christ_n will_v then_o be_v draw_v upon_o it_o a_o weak_a and_o small_a measure_n of_o grace_n which_o be_v the_o high_a attainment_n that_o any_o saint_n reach_v to_o here_o compare_v with_o what_o we_o shall_v do_v hereafter_o and_o be_v also_o the_o image_n of_o christ_n upon_o the_o soul_n of_o a_o believer_n yet_o even_o this_o imperfect_a grace_n and_o holiness_n make_v the_o soul_n to_o shine_v glorious_o here_o how_o much_o more_o than_o shall_v glory_n that_o be_v the_o perfection_n of_o grace_n and_o the_o perfect_a of_o the_o image_n of_o christ_n upon_o the_o soul_n make_v the_o soul_n of_o a_o believer_n to_o exceed_v in_o glory_n not_o that_o the_o saint_n in_o heaven_n shall_v be_v continual_o receive_v new_a addition_n to_o their_o grace_n or_o glory_n and_o so_o be_v make_v more_o and_o more_o like_a unto_o christ_n by_o the_o vision_n they_o shall_v there_o have_v of_o he_o no_o this_o be_v a_o saint_n work_v and_o employment_n here_o on_o earth_n whilst_o he_o behold_v christ_n only_o by_o a_o eye_n of_o faith_n in_o the_o glass_n of_o duty_n and_o ordinance_n thus_o to_o be_v change_v into_o his_o image_n from_o glory_n to_o glory_n but_o this_o sight_n of_o christ_n shall_v vanish_v away_o in_o heaven_n and_o the_o saint_n shall_v have_v a_o immediate_a vision_n of_o god_n and_o christ_n and_o their_o soul_n shall_v thereby_o be_v change_v into_o a_o exact_a and_o perfect_a conformity_n unto_o the_o image_n of_o christ_n it_o shall_v not_o then_o be_v from_o glory_n to_o glory_n from_o one_o degree_n of_o grace_n to_o another_o as_o it_o be_v now_o but_o grace_n and_o holiness_n in_o heaven_n shall_v be_v always_o in_o they_o in_o its_o height_n and_o perfection_n the_o soul_n of_o believer_n upon_o their_o entrance_n into_o that_o holy_a place_n become_v perfect_o and_o complete_o glorious_a have_v the_o perfection_n of_o grace_n and_o holiness_n in_o they_o without_o the_o least_o remainder_n of_o sin_n and_o corruption_n which_o in_o this_o world_n the_o holy_a person_n be_v not_o total_o free_v from_o but_o to_o speak_v a_o little_a more_o particular_o concern_v the_o happiness_n of_o the_o soul_n of_o believer_n in_o heaven_n and_o here_o first_o in_o heaven_n the_o understanding_n of_o the_o saint_n shall_v be_v enlarge_v knowledge_n be_v a_o necessary_a engredient_n unto_o the_o soul_n happiness_n in_o heaven_n and_o the_o more_o enlarge_v the_o understanding_n of_o a_o saint_n be_v the_o great_a be_v his_o happiness_n a_o ignorant_a soul_n can_v be_v a_o happy_a soul_n neither_o on_o earth_n nor_o in_o heaven_n ignorant_a person_n be_v look_v upon_o with_o pity_n and_o contempt_n that_o the_o soul_n be_v without_o knowledge_n say_v the_o wise_a man_n be_v not_o nor_o can_v be_v good_a prov._n 19.2_o knowledge_n be_v a_o great_a ornament_n in_o any_o man_n but_o much_o more_o in_o a_o christian_n it_o be_v a_o great_a commendation_n scripture_n call_v the_o excellency_n of_o knowledge_n so_o say_v the_o apostle_n philip._n 3.9_o i_o count_v all_o thing_n but_o loss_n and_o dung_n for_o the_o excellency_n of_o the_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n jesus_n my_o lord_n and_o john_n 17.2_o this_o be_v life_n eternal_a to_o know_v thou_o the_o only_a true_a god_n and_o jesus_n christ_n who_o thou_o have_v send_v this_o be_v the_o mystery_n of_o redemption_n and_o providence_n to_o what_o shall_v be_v know_v in_o heaven_n some_o of_o these_o bless_a object_n be_v far_o above_o out_o of_o our_o sight_n other_o be_v far_o above_o the_o reach_n of_o our_o understanding_n to_o comprehend_v the_o depth_n of_o those_o mystery_n of_o wisdom_n grace_n and_o love_n that_o be_v contain_v in_o they_o but_o in_o heaven_n our_o capacity_n shall_v be_v enlarge_v to_o take_v in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o these_o high_a and_o glorious_a object_n in_o heaven_n god_n will_v take_v off_o the_o veil_n from_o his_o face_n that_o we_o may_v see_v he_o face_n to_o face_n and_o not_o only_o so_o but_o will_v strengthen_v we_o that_o we_o may_v be_v able_a to_o look_v upon_o and_o behold_v his_o glory_n and_o excellency_n which_o otherwise_o will_v astonish_v and_o confound_v we_o there_o shall_v we_o see_v the_o bless_a lord_n jesus_n who_o for_o our_o sake_n be_v for_o a_o little_a while_n make_v a_o little_a low_o than_o most_o profound_a scholar_n be_v never_o able_a full_o to_o comprehend_v there_o shall_v the_o most_o dark_a and_o difficult_a passage_n of_o that_o divine_a and_o heavenly_a book_n the_o scripture_n be_v make_v clear_a and_o plain_a to_o our_o understanding_n there_o it_o shall_v be_v give_v we_o to_o discern_v how_o exquisite_o the_o several_a part_n of_o holy_a writ_n be_v by_o the_o all_o wise_a and_o before_o see_v author_n of_o they_o god_n fit_v and_o adapt_v unto_o the_o several_a time_n place_n person_n and_o occurrence_n for_o which_o they_o be_v intend_v chief_o to_o be_v use_v we_o shall_v then_o plain_o see_v not_o only_o a_o reconcileableness_n but_o a_o friendship_n and_o perfect_a harmony_n between_o those_o sacred_a text_n in_o holy_a writ_n that_o seem_v most_o to_o jar_n and_o be_v at_o great_a variance_n yea_o there_o shall_v we_o discover_v not_o only_o the_o meaning_n of_o the_o most_o dark_a and_o obscure_a passage_n of_o that_o sacred_a book_n but_o how_o fit_a it_o be_v that_o they_o shall_v be_v so_o together_o with_o the_o infinite_a wisdom_n of_o the_o great_a god_n that_o cause_v they_o to_o be_v write_v so_o obscure_o there_o it_o be_v that_o those_o riddle_n of_o divine_a providence_n shall_v be_v expound_v and_o lay_v open_a before_o we_o which_o have_v make_v not_o only_o wicked_a man_n to_o deny_v but_o tempt_v even_o good_a man_n themselves_o sometime_o to_o call_v in_o question_n the_o infinite_a and_o unerring_a wisdom_n of_o the_o great_a god_n in_o his_o government_n of_o the_o world_n when_o they_o behold_v wicked_a and_o ungodly_a man_n to_o prosper_v grow_v rich_a and_o great_a have_v all_o their_o heart_n can_v wish_v whilst_o upright_a and_o righteous_a one_o be_v continual_o expose_v to_o poverty_n reproach_n heaven_n it_o will_v appear_v to_o be_v as_o high_o rational_a as_o now_o we_o find_v it_o to_o be_v hard_a and_o difficult_a man_n of_o himself_o be_v no_o fit_a judge_n of_o the_o providence_n of_o god_n at_o any_o time_n but_o especial_o not_o in_o this_o world_n because_o he_o can_v see_v the_o whole_a of_o his_o providential_a working_n at_o once_o his_o day_n as_o job_n speak_v be_v but_o as_o a_o shadow_n upon_o earth_n and_o they_o fly_v away_o so_o that_o he_o can_v see_v but_o little_a of_o what_o god_n be_v do_v but_o when_o we_o come_v to_o heaven_n the_o whole_a conduct_n of_o
