say_v who_o ever_o offend_v one_o of_o these_o little_a one_o his_o saint_n it_o be_v better_a that_o a_o mal-stone_n be_v hang_v about_o their_o neck_n and_o that_o they_o be_v cast_v into_o the_o sea_n so_o dangerous_a be_v it_o to_o wound_n christ_n in_o his_o people_n o_o that_o this_o present_a age_n can_v spiritual_o receive_v this_o truth_n that_o when_o they_o wouâ—â—de_v christ_n in_o his_o people_n they_o wound_n their_o own_o life_n the_o sad_a experience_n of_o person_n and_o nation_n which_o have_v die_v of_o these_o wound_n may_v be_v enough_o to_o warn_v this_o present_a age_n from_o wound_v the_o child_n of_o god_n if_o god_n will_v give_v they_o spiritual_a understanding_n show_v i_o any_o example_n where_o the_o spiritual_a peâ—ple_n of_o god_n be_v make_v the_o butt_n for_o any_o nation_n or_o person_n to_o shoot_v at_o but_o that_o the_o arrow_n fly_v back_o and_o wound_v the_o heart_n that_o shoot_v they_o even_o unto_o death_n these_o sad_a undertake_n have_v ruin_v so_o many_o king_n and_o kingdom_n this_o mountain_n will_v overturn_v all_o the_o world_n for_o worldling_n will_v be_v always_o engage_v against_o spiritual_a saint_n the_o seed_n of_o the_o woman_n and_o the_o seed_n of_o the_o serpent_n will_v be_v at_o variance_n till_o they_o be_v part_v as_o fare_v asunder_o as_o heaven_n and_o hell_n but_o the_o seed_n of_o the_o woman_n shall_v prevail_v as_o christ_n for_o a_o saint_n so_o christ_n in_o a_o saint_n shall_v be_v a_o conqueror_n and_o though_o thou_o may_v wound_n christ_n in_o a_o saint_n yet_o if_o freegrace_n make_v not_o a_o cure_n that_o wound_n will_v be_v thy_o death_n thou_o be_v in_o staken_v poor_a soul_n if_o thou_o think_v thou_o lay_v all_o thy_o blow_n upon_o the_o saint_n thou_o ami'_v at_o no_o christ_n he_o bâ—ares_v the_o blow_n and_o thou_o must_v reckon_v with_o he_o for_o they_o this_o truth_n make_v the_o present_a age_n to_o have_v a_o sad_a and_o a_o pale_a countenance_n in_o any_o pretence_n whatsoever_o christ_n will_v let_v such_o know_v it_o be_v ill_a requital_n for_o his_o wound_n that_o they_o wound_n their_o brethren_n and_o so_o he_o in_o they_o a_o five_o and_o last_o observation_n shall_v be_v this_o if_o christ_n be_v only_o a_o saint_n life_n than_o here_o we_o may_v observe_v the_o sad_a condition_n of_o a_o christlesse_a soul_n it_o be_v a_o dead_a soul_n dead_a in_o sin_n and_o trespass_n walk_v according_a to_o the_o course_n of_o the_o world_n and_o the_o prince_n of_o the_o power_n of_o the_o air_n and_o by_o nature_n the_o child_n of_o wrath_n as_o it_o be_v in_o ephes_n 2.1_o 2_o 3._o if_o christ_n be_v not_o make_v sin_n for_o thou_o thou_o bear_v thy_o own_o sin_n and_o must_v also_o bear_v the_o sting_n of_o sin_n which_o be_v eternal_a death_n and_o then_o thou_o be_v a_o dead_a soul_n indeed_o joh._n 10_o 9_o christ_n speak_v in_o these_o word_n i_o be_o the_o door_n by_o i_o if_o any_o man_n enter_v in_o he_o shall_v be_v save_v now_o that_o soul_n which_o come_v not_o in_o at_o this_o door_n never_o come_v into_o the_o bosom_n of_o god_n where_o only_o be_v salvation_n and_o therefore_o a_o christlesse_a soul_n the_o wrath_n of_o god_n abide_v on_o he_o if_o this_o make_v not_o up_o a_o condition_n full_o miserable_a to_o have_v the_o wrath_n of_o god_n abide_v on_o a_o soul_n i_o know_v not_o what_o do_v and_o this_o be_v the_o state_n of_o every_o christlesse_a soul_n though_o it_o may_v have_v a_o name_n to_o live_v yet_o in_o the_o account_n of_o god_n such_o a_o soul_n be_v certain_o dead_a for_o as_o god_n be_v the_o fountain_n of_o life_n so_o he_o have_v make_v christ_n the_o way_n to_o this_o fountain_n and_o if_o god_n look_v upon_o any_o soul_n out_o of_o christ_n he_o look_v on_o it_o as_o a_o dead_a soul_n and_o when_o we_o come_v to_o see_v thing_n as_o they_o be_v we_o shall_v see_v they_o as_o god_n see_v they_o a_o christlesse_a soul_n to_o be_v a_o dead_a soul_n this_o may_v be_v useful_a to_o saint_n first_o to_o exhort_v saint_n to_o eye_n christ_n as_o their_o life_n joh._n 6.15_o i_o be_o the_o live_a bread_n which_o come_v down_o from_o heaven_n if_o any_o man_n eat_v of_o this_o bread_n he_o shall_v live_v for_o ever_o so_o our_o saviour_n again_o in_o joh._n 14.19_o because_o i_o live_v you_o shall_v live_v also_o in_o both_o place_n christ_n speak_v our_o christ_n as_o he_o be_v our_o life_n the_o prophet_n isaiah_n in_o chap._n 53.5.10_o 11._o verse_n bear_v witness_n to_o this_o truth_n and_o carry_v on_o the_o same_o design_n in_o show_v saint_n the_o original_a love_n of_o god_n in_o make_v christ_n to_o be_v our_o interest_n of_o life_n he_o hold_v forth_o christ_n as_o he_o be_v wound_v for_o our_o transgression_n bruise_v for_o our_o iniquity_n the_o chastisement_n of_o our_o peace_n lay_v on_o he_o so_o that_o with_o his_o stripe_n we_o be_v heal_v god_n make_v christ_n soul_n a_o offering_n for_o sin_n and_o in_o the_o behold_n now_o fear_v of_o death_n be_v no_o less_o than_o diffidence_n of_o that_o redemption_n therefore_o saint_n shall_v be_v very_o watchful_a that_o they_o harbour_v no_o sad_a nor_o hard_a thought_n of_o death_n because_o in_o so_o do_v we_o dishonour_v a_o true_a friend_n nay_o christ_n that_o make_v death_n thus_o to_o be_v our_o friend_n in_o the_o next_o place_n this_o call_v upon_o saint_n that_o when_o death_n come_v to_o sit_v in_o our_o bosom_n we_o shall_v bid_v he_o true_o welcome_a and_o give_v he_o the_o entertainment_n of_o a_o friend_n that_o be_v be_v true_o joyful_a to_o see_v he_o let_v he_o find_v by_o the_o joy_n of_o our_o heart_n that_o he_o be_v welcome_a to_o our_o besom_n let_v his_o countenance_n be_v please_v to_o we_o for_o though_o he_o be_v pale_a death_n to_o our_o flesh_n yet_o that_o flesh_n shall_v be_v a_o gainer_n by_o its_o paleness_n and_o find_v nothing_o in_o death_n but_o a_o quiet_a rest_n till_o it_o shall_v put_v on_o incorruption_n but_o welcome_a as_o a_o friend_n for_o christ_n be_v in_o he_o and_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n when_o christ_n take_v sin_n from_o saint_n which_o be_v the_o sting_n of_o death_n he_o give_v they_o love_n in_o the_o room_n of_o sin_n so_o as_o before_o we_o have_v sin_n in_o all_o now_o we_o have_v love_n in_o all_o and_o though_o death_n to_o saint_n have_v not_o the_o sting_n of_o sin_n yet_o it_o have_v the_o love_n of_o christ_n and_o be_v worthy_a to_o be_v bid_v welcome_a and_o entertain_v with_o gladness_n when_o he_o come_v but_o in_o the_o next_o place_n this_o call_v loud_a to_o saint_n that_o they_o believe_v strong_o in_o that_o love_n of_o christ_n who_o have_v take_v away_o the_o sting_n of_o death_n which_o be_v sin_n and_o thereby_o make_v death_n that_o be_v a_o original_a what_o remain_v then_o why_o nothing_o but_o a_o firm_a and_o last_a foundation_n of_o faith_n the_o love_n of_o christ_n be_v a_o strong_a foundation_n for_o a_o saint_n to_o believe_v strong_o in_o what_o shall_v we_o fear_v death_n be_v our_o friend_n the_o love_n of_o christ_n have_v make_v he_o so_o the_o break_n forth_o of_o this_o love_n be_v ground_n sufficient_a to_o banish_v all_o fear_n our_o flesh_n in_o scripture_n account_n consider_v again_o the_o wait_a be_v but_o a_o moment_n compare_v with_o the_o time_n of_o enjoy_v the_o next_o moment_n may_v end_v the_o one_o but_o the_o other_o be_v eternal_a without_o end_n and_o the_o first_o entrance_n into_o our_o father_n glory_n will_v take_v quite_o away_o the_o remembrance_n of_o all_o sorrow_n and_o suffering_n here_o satisfy_v with_o emptiness_n nor_o he_o which_o do_v eat_v make_v glad_a by_o his_o fullness_n for_o both_o condition_n be_v under_o the_o sun_n and_o there_o be_v vanity_n in_o they_o man_n live_v the_o world_n but_o it_o may_v make_v saint_n blush_v yea_o the_o best_a of_o saint_n to_o consider_v how_o they_o have_v stretch_v forth_o their_o hand_n to_o grasp_v the_o wind_n and_o open_v their_o heart_n to_o let_v in_o vanity_n and_o upon_o this_o regard_n have_v be_v ready_a to_o conclude_v it_o be_v good_a to_o be_v here_o let_v we_o build_v tabernacle_n and_o so_o have_v labour_v to_o blow_v up_o this_o bladder_n of_o vanity_n with_o these_o please_a imagination_n to_o our_o flesh_n of_o honour_n profit_n &_o pleasure_n of_o this_o world_n till_o god_n prick_v the_o bladder_n and_o let_v out_o this_o wind_n so_o that_o then_o we_o see_v it_o vanity_n but_o true_o so_o much_o of_o this_o old_a man_n as_o be_v in_o saint_n make_v a_o very_a uncomely_a sight_n that_o heir_n of_o glory_n joynt-heir_n with_o christ_n in_o glory_n such_o as_o have_v a_o more_o exceed_o and_o eternal_a weight_n of_o glory_n prepare_v for_o they_o &_o wait_v to_o swallow_v they_o up_o to_o all_o eternity_n shall_v be_v pursue_v after_o vanity_n it_o best_o become_v saint_n to_o be_v always_o upon_o the_o wing_n of_o faith_n for_o heaven_n above_o those_o vanity_n there_o be_v no_o foot_n in_o the_o world_n for_o a_o saint_n the_o world_n be_v a_o ocean_n of_o uncertain_a wave_n that_o go_v one_o way_n &_o the_o other_o way_n as_o the_o wind_n drive_v they_o so_o that_o the_o dove_n can_v have_v no_o rest_n for_o the_o sole_a of_o her_o foot_n till_o she_o come_v to_o the_o ark_n from_o whence_o she_o go_v out_o a_o saint_n shall_v find_v rest_n in_o nothing_o but_o in_o god_n his_o original_n it_o be_v vanity_n in_o all_o to_o pursue_v vanity_n but_o especial_o in_o saint_n for_o their_o life_n be_v hide_v with_o christ_n in_o god_n it_o be_v great_a folly_n for_o a_o empty_a stomach_n to_o suck_v in_o the_o wind_n for_o its_o satisfaction_n and_o this_o title_n we_o may_v give_v to_o the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o wise_a worldling_n which_o make_v the_o prodigal_n it_o be_v much_o to_o the_o dishonour_n of_o god_n who_o be_v the_o glorious_a and_o satisfy_a interest_n of_o his_o people_n that_o they_o shall_v be_v run_v to_o empty_a cistern_n when_o he_o himself_o be_v a_o eternal_a fountain_n of_o love_n life_n and_o exceed_a glory_n to_o they_o and_o doubtless_o saint_n in_o truth_n be_v very_o tender_a of_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n these_o child_n and_o we_o we_o shall_v leave_v they_o well_o in_o leave_v they_o with_o god_n and_o need_v not_o fear_v the_o leave_v they_o when_o we_o be_v go_v to_o god_n death_n in_o take_v we_o from_o our_o child_n to_o carry_v we_o home_o to_o our_o father_n will_v advantage_v we_o and_o not_o disadvantage_n we_o for_o though_o he_o fill_v we_o with_o all_o fullness_n of_o love_n and_o glory_n in_o heaven_n yet_o he_o be_v nevertheless_o full_a but_o can_v also_o fill_v our_o child_n on_o earth_n and_o such_o as_o taste_v of_o his_o love_n and_o grace_n have_v no_o cause_n to_o doubt_v of_o say_v the_o flesh_n it_o may_v be_v of_o a_o saint_n i_o be_o afraid_a of_o the_o pain_n of_o death_n in_o die_v true_o this_o be_v a_o fear_n of_o our_o own_o create_v for_o how_o many_o thousand_o go_v out_o of_o the_o world_n when_o stander_n by_o can_v scarce_o tell_v whether_o they_o sleep_v or_o die_v but_o grant_v it_o that_o the_o pain_n of_o death_n be_v strong_a upon_o thy_o flesh_n yet_o take_v this_o with_o thou_o it_o be_v all_o the_o pain_n that_o ever_o thy_o flesh_n shall_v bear_v man_n to_o live_v a_o die_a life_n be_v oftentimes_o content_a to_o have_v their_o limb_n cut_v from_o their_o body_n which_o i_o believe_v be_v far_o more_o pain_n to_o the_o body_n then_o when_o death_n crack_v it_o to_o let_v out_o the_o soul_n but_o the_o gain_n far_o exceed_v thus_o be_v soul_n and_o body_n at_o ease_n both_o when_o the_o body_n be_v but_o the_o die_a of_o one_o limb_n a_o little_a before_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o body_n it_o be_v but_o the_o defer_v of_o death_n and_o it_o may_v be_v many_o death_n assault_v the_o body_n in_o that_o time_n this_o be_v but_o a_o bugbear_n in_o the_o fancy_n to_o fright_v child_n not_o worth_a the_o name_a among_o saint_n let_v god_n break_v what_o he_o will_v when_o he_o will_v and_o how_o he_o will_v he_o make_v all_o good_a again_o to_o his_o people_n in_o himself_o it_o be_v christ_n end_n in_o take_v the_o sting_n from_o death_n not_o to_o leave_v any_o ground_n of_o fear_n for_o his_o people_n so_o that_o believe_a saint_n through_o christ_n may_v true_o glory_v in_o and_o over_o death_n in_o all_o the_o fear_n of_o it_o four_o believe_v saint_n through_o christ_n may_v glory_v over_o death_n in_o the_o manner_n of_o it_o whether_o it_o be_v according_a to_o the_o term_n we_o use_v for_o distinction_n either_o natural_a or_o violent_a death_n yet_o to_o a_o saint_n through_o christ_n it_o be_v in_o both_o but_o death_n without_o a_o sting_n and_o that_o which_o our_o flesh_n call_v the_o worst_a of_o these_o the_o violent_a death_n god_n have_v and_o do_v make_v to_o be_v the_o portion_n of_o many_o of_o his_o dear_a saint_n the_o prophet_n apostle_n and_o those_o glorious_a primitive_a christian_n do_v many_o if_o not_o most_o of_o they_o drink_v of_o this_o cup_n and_o do_v it_o with_o so_o much_o joy_n in_o god_n that_o the_o tyrant_n of_o those_o time_n be_v more_o unable_a to_o invent_v cruel_a death_n than_o they_o be_v to_o undergo_v they_o and_o the_o reason_n be_v visible_a for_o though_o these_o death_n have_v the_o cruelty_n of_o man_n in_o they_o yet_o there_o be_v also_o the_o kindness_n of_o god_n in_o they_o christ_n have_v take_v away_o the_o sting_n of_o death_n which_o be_v sin_n and_o though_o man_n may_v add_v to_o their_o cruelty_n yet_o they_o can_v put_v no_o sting_n into_o death_n the_o martyr_n of_o late_a time_n as_o history_n tell_v we_o have_v go_v leap_v and_o rejoice_v to_o the_o stake_n be_v joyful_a in_o the_o embrace_v of_o flame_n and_o as_o one_o say_v to_o his_o fellow_n martyr_n be_v of_o good_a cheer_n though_o our_o breakfast_n be_v sour_a yet_o our_o supper_n will_v be_v sweet_a in_o heaven_n as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v though_o these_o flame_n bring_v smart_n with_o they_o yet_o they_o will_v put_v a_o end_n to_o all_o smart_n this_o be_v all_o the_o sting_n that_o be_v in_o death_n and_o it_o will_v soon_o have_v whether_o in_o the_o field_n or_o at_o home_n in_o his_o bed_n whether_o it_o take_v he_o in_o his_o great_a strength_n with_o his_o bone_n full_a of_o marrow_n in_o his_o dâ—câ—ying_a state_n when_o his_o eye_n grow_v dim_a and_o his_o other_o faculty_n fail_v he_o mind_v not_o the_o manner_n of_o die_v but_o the_o matter_n of_o death_n death_n be_v without_o a_o sting_n so_o that_o where_o when_o or_o how_o death_n come_v into_o his_o bosom_n that_o be_v of_o little_a value_n with_o he_o he_o on_o 〈◊〉_d this_o to_o find_v death_n a_o friend_n without_o its_o sting_n and_o then_o through_o christ_n he_o glory_v in_o and_o over_o both_o matter_n and_o manner_n of_o death_n five_o a_o believe_a saint_n through_o christ_n may_v glory_v over_o death_n in_o the_o end_n of_o it_o there_o be_v two_o main_a end_n in_o death_n which_o be_v proper_a to_o saint_n the_o first_o be_v to_o put_v a_o end_n to_o a_o die_a life_n to_o finish_v that_o work_n which_o begin_v so_o soon_o as_o we_o begin_v to_o live_v in_o these_o body_n of_o clay_n man_n begin_v to_o die_v so_o soon_o as_o he_o gin_v to_o liuâ—_n because_o the_o whole_a life_n be_v but_o a_o progress_n of_o death_n or_o a_o die_a life_n all_o the_o time_n we_o live_v we_o die_v invisible_a and_o when_o we_o die_v indeed_o it_o be_v but_o visible_a death_n that_o which_o we_o carry_v about_o with_o we_o in_o the_o world_n then_o appear_v to_o carry_v we_o out_o of_o the_o world_n that_o which_o sleep_v with_o we_o many_o a_o short_a sleep_n now_o cast_v we_o into_o one_o â—â—ng_a sleep_n this_o be_v proper_o the_o end_n of_o death_n in_o saint_n to_o put_v a_o end_n to_o all_o die_a for_o it_o be_v a_o real_a truth_n though_o a_o mystery_n to_o the_o world_n that_o saint_n die_v whilst_o they_o live_v and_o live_v when_o they_o die_v so_o that_o this_o end_n of_o death_n be_v a_o saint_n glory_n not_o his_o grief_n not_o what_o he_o fear_v but_o what_o he_o hope_v for_o count_v himself_o most_o miserable_a of_o all_o man_n if_o death_n end_n be_v not_o to_o put_v a_o end_n to_o his_o die_a life_n the_o other_o main_a end_n in_o death_n be_v to_o pluck_v up_o the_o flower_n of_o heaven_n that_o grow_v in_o the_o earth_n by_o the_o root_n that_o they_o may_v be_v plant_v in_o their_o own_o kingdom_n and_o flourish_v there_o for_o ever_o i_o mean_v those_o precious_a soul_n of_o saint_n which_o be_v here_o enclose_v in_o those_o earthly_a mould_n of_o our_o body_n by_o which_o the_o beauty_n of_o those_o heavenly_a flower_n be_v exceed_o short_a of_o that_o glory_n they_o shall_v have_v with_o christ_n above_o and_o do_v many_o time_n taste_v and_o savour_n of_o the_o earth_n they_o grow_v in_o christ_n be_v the_o proper_a root_n of_o those_o branch_n and_o heaven_n the_o only_a place_n for_o they_o to_o grow_v and_o flourish_v in_o now_o death_n come_v only_o to_o transplant_v they_o from_o earth_n to_o heaven_n to_o crrumble_v that_o clay_n into_o dust_n which_o hold_v these_o flower_n of_o heaven_n so_o fast_o that_o they_o can_v get_v home_o into_o their_o own_o kingdom_n now_o a_o saint_n may_v well_o glory_n over_o this_o end_n of_o death_n for_o death_n be_v herein_o the_o soul_n servant_n to_o have_v it_o home_o to_o glory_n and_o to_o unprison_v it_o from_o all_o the_o bond_n it_o lie_v under_o but_o last_o a_o believe_a saint_n through_o christ_n may_v glory_v over_o death_n in_o its_o victory_n my_o meaning_n be_v the_o victory_n which_o saint_n have_v over_o death_n death_n in_o the_o will_n of_o god_n lay_v saint_n to_o sleep_v in_o their_o corruptible_a body_n but_o saint_n through_o their_o union_n with_o christ_n rise_v again_o &_o that_o in_o incorruption_n though_o it_o go_v to_o the_o dust_n corrupt_a and_o noisome_a clay_n in_o dishonour_n and_o in_o weakness_n like_o a_o natural_a body_n yet_o christ_n will_v raise_v it_o again_o a_o spiritual_a body_n full_a of_o power_n and_o glory_n there_o be_v no_o loss_n to_o saint_n in_o die_v no_o not_o to_o their_o corruptible_a flesh_n for_o that_o have_v a_o interest_n in_o christ_n and_o christ_n have_v conquer_v death_n for_o his_o people_n though_o their_o body_n shall_v by_o death_n be_v sow_o in_o incorruption_n yet_o they_o shall_v not_o lie_v there_o for_o ever_o the_o grave_n shall_v have_v no_o victory_n but_o shall_v give_v up_o its_o dead_a and_o such_o as_o rise_v in_o christ_n shall_v rise_v as_o christ_n spiritual_a body_n though_o the_o earth_n shall_v have_v leave_n to_o root_v the_o corruption_n of_o the_o body_n of_o have_v lay_v the_o body_n of_o saint_n in_o the_o dust_n there_o be_v the_o end_n of_o his_o office_n and_o when_o the_o grave_n have_v swallow_v up_o the_o corruption_n of_o those_o body_n than_o its_o work_n be_v do_v too_o but_o then_o christ_n have_v a_o eternal_a woe_n ke_v in_o his_o hand_n to_o raise_v it_o a_o spiritual_a body_n that_o the_o fullness_n of_o his_o redemption_n may_v be_v make_v up_o so_o as_o that_o soul_n and_o body_n both_o may_v be_v fill_v with_o the_o fullness_n of_o his_o redemption_n and_o in_o this_o work_n christ_n command_v both_o death_n and_o grave_n to_o give_v up_o their_o dead_a body_n and_o then_o he_o spirit_n his_o own_o suitable_a to_o that_o eternal_a life_n which_o they_o be_v to_o possess_v the_o scripture_n tell_v we_o that_o christ_n be_v rise_v from_o the_o dead_a and_o become_v the_o first_o fruit_n of_o they_o that_o sleep_v 1_o cor._n 15.20_o that_o be_v christ_n be_v first_o in_o the_o resurrection_n but_o so_o as_o he_o be_v the_o first_o fruit_n a_o testimony_n of_o resurrection_n to_o all_o that_o sleep_n and_o in_o rom._n 8.11_o the_o apostle_n tell_v we_o that_o the_o same_o power_n which_o raise_v up_o christ_n from_o the_o dead_a shall_v also_o quicken_v our_o mortal_a body_n by_o his_o spirit_n so_o in_o 1_o thes_n 4.16_o for_o the_o lord_n himself_o shall_v descend_v from_o heaven_n with_o a_o shout_n death_n can_v hurt_v nor_o grave_n hold_v so_o much_o as_o the_o body_n of_o a_o saint_n in_o christ_n but_o on_o the_o contrary_a that_o the_o very_a body_n of_o saint_n have_v victory_n over_o death_n in_o die_v and_o that_o saint_n have_v exceed_v cause_n to_o glory_n over_o death_n under_o this_o consideration_n as_o well_o as_o all_o or_o any_o of_o the_o former_a i_o shall_v next_o take_v into_o consideration_n in_o some_o few_o particular_n the_o benefit_n and_o advantage_n that_o believe_a saint_n through_o christ_n have_v by_o death_n both_o in_o our_o soul_n and_o body_n i_o will_v begin_v with_o the_o body_n first_o death_n free_v we_o from_o all_o the_o natural_a infirmity_n and_o disease_n of_o our_o body_n one_o complain_v that_o wind_n make_v a_o torture_a tumult_n all_o his_o body_n over_o the_o bowel_n and_o the_o body_n full_a and_o they_o fill_v the_o head_n so_o that_o there_o be_v no_o free_a part_n another_z he_o complain_v that_o flux_n of_o water_n have_v fill_v his_o vein_n chill_v his_o blood_n and_o numb_v his_o joint_n so_o that_o ache_n be_v in_o all_o his_o bone_n a_o three_o complain_v that_o gravel_n lie_v in_o his_o reins_n tear_n his_o kidney_n and_o stop_v his_o bladder_n so_o that_o his_o whole_a life_n be_v as_o it_o be_v upon_o the_o torture_a rack_n there_o be_v many_o more_o complainer_n beside_o these_o which_o go_v from_o man_n to_o man_n to_o make_v their_o moan_n and_o beg_v their_o help_n for_o a_o little_a ease_n though_o but_o for_o a_o little_a time_n which_o sometime_o they_o find_v but_o often_o return_v from_o fellow-creature_n as_o miserable_a as_o they_o come_v but_o when_o death_n come_v without_o his_o sting_n he_o make_v a_o perfect_a cure_n of_o all_o sorrow_n and_o pain_n for_o ever_o among_o creature_n we_o seek_v ease_n with_o tear_n but_o death_n he_o bring_v full_a and_o last_a ease_n and_o wipe_v away_o all_o tear_n from_o our_o eye_n death_n put_v a_o end_n to_o hunger_n and_o thirst_n to_o cold_a and_o nakedness_n to_o labour_v and_o weariness_n in_o short_a to_o all_o want_n and_o to_o all_o woe_n the_o grave_n be_v quiet_a it_o be_v the_o only_a piece_n of_o quiet_a earth_n that_o man_n can_v meet_v withal_o though_o a_o little_a above_o the_o grave_n on_o the_o earth_n there_o be_v cry_n out_o and_o complain_n yet_o the_o grave_n be_v quiet_a nothing_o can_v disturb_v the_o rest_n and_o quiet_a of_o that_o bed_n it_o be_v not_o capable_a of_o disturbance_n therefore_o exceed_v useful_a to_o rest_v in_o this_o i_o assure_v you_o be_v a_o great_a benefit_n than_o all_o the_o live_a world_n enjoy_v beside_o crown_n have_v their_o cross_n state_n their_o crack_n all_o person_n and_o thing_n their_o want_n every_o person_n state_n condition_n and_o thing_n under_o the_o sin_n wrap_v up_o in_o vanity_n all_o want_n be_v bury_v no_o where_o but_o in_o the_o grave_n of_o death_n the_o body_n of_o man_n never_o bid_v adieu_o to_o all_o want_n till_o it_o be_v embrace_v in_o the_o arm_n of_o death_n and_o lay_v to_o rest_v in_o that_o quiet_a centre_n of_o the_o earth_n but_o when_o death_n come_v without_o its_o sting_n it_o bring_v this_o certain_a benefit_n and_o advantage_n with_o it_o a_o second_o benefit_n and_o advantage_n of_o the_o body_n of_o saint_n in_o death_n without_o its_o sting_n be_v this_o it_o take_v from_o the_o world_n scorn_n and_o cruelty_n when_o the_o body_n of_o saint_n be_v in_o the_o grave_n worldling_n must_v seek_v some_o other_o object_n for_o their_o slander_n scorn_n or_o cruelty_n they_o will_v find_v no_o sap_n or_o moisture_n in_o the_o dust_n of_o saint_n to_o feed_v these_o lust_n withal_o the_o derision_n and_o persecution_n of_o god_n dear_a saint_n on_o earth_n be_v the_o pastime_n and_o practice_n of_o sin_v soul_n like_o the_o fly_n that_o sport_v itself_o about_o the_o candle_n till_o she_o have_v burn_v her_o wing_n but_o god_n have_v his_o time_n to_o ease_v his_o people_n of_o this_o burden_n and_o if_o not_o before_o yet_o certain_o and_o full_o when_o death_n come_v be_v this_o work_n effect_v saint_n whilst_o they_o live_v in_o the_o body_n be_v with_o their_o spirit_n above_o the_o world_n scorn_n and_o cruelty_n but_o when_o death_n come_v than_o the_o body_n get_v beyond_o they_o too_o so_o that_o here_o be_v another_o benefit_n in_o death_n it_o free_v they_o from_o the_o scorn_v of_o fool_n and_o the_o cruelty_n of_o cruel_a man_n the_o wicked_a worldling_n count_v a_o saint_n to_o be_v the_o only_a troubler_n of_o the_o people_n and_o place_n wherein_o he_o live_v but_o when_o death_n come_v to_o a_o saint_n he_o be_v very_o willing_a to_o leave_v the_o world_n their_o portion_n and_o their_o elbowroom_n he_o be_v not_o desirous_a to_o trouble_v they_o any_o long_o all_o he_o desire_v be_v a_o little_a earth_n to_o lie_v down_o to_o sleep_v in_o and_o that_o the_o world_n be_v content_a withal_o wish_v that_o all_o the_o rest_n be_v there_o too_o this_o be_v a_o benefit_n which_o a_o saint_n with_o submission_n to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n desire_v many_o a_o hour_n before_o it_o come_v he_o be_v as_o willing_a to_o be_v at_o home_o in_o his_o own_o inheritance_n as_o the_o worldling_n be_v to_o have_v he_o out_o of_o he_o now_o death_n crown_v these_o longing_n in_o saint_n and_o bring_v in_o the_o harvest_n of_o many_o prayer_n which_o the_o spirit_n have_v make_v for_o this_o very_a thing_n so_o that_o in_o these_o and_o many_o more_o particular_n be_v death_n beneficial_a and_o advantageous_a to_o the_o body_n of_o saint_n but_o i_o shall_v mention_v two_o general_n in_o which_o death_n without_o its_o sting_n be_v through_o christ_n exceed_v advantageous_a and_o benificous_a to_o the_o soul_n of_o believe_a saint_n first_o it_o deliver_v they_o from_o a_o body_n of_o sin_n a_o place_n of_o temptation_n and_o darkness_n which_o be_v the_o whole_a complaint_n of_o saint_n whilst_o they_o be_v in_o the_o flesh_n the_o apostle_n paul_n complain_v of_o the_o law_n in_o his_o member_n which_o rebel_v against_o the_o law_n of_o his_o mind_n and_o of_o the_o body_n of_o death_n how_o often_o do_v the_o prophet_n david_n pray_v to_o be_v keep_v from_o temptation_n and_o to_o be_v enlighten_v in_o his_o darkness_n that_o god_n will_v show_v he_o the_o way_n he_o shall_v walk_v in_o and_o make_v his_o path_n straight_o saint_n desire_v to_o be_v unclothe_v of_o the_o body_n of_o flesh_n because_o they_o be_v capable_a of_o sin_v in_o that_o body_n any_o it_o be_v a_o body_n which_o tempt_v to_o sin_n
